A yummy (and happier and healthier) mummy - for good this time!

Makes me glad I just bought a small 250g pack so 5syns for the whole thing.

Made my coleslaw with the green cabbage (and white onions as I forgot to get a red one!) and its yum! Loads of superfree and I made a massive batch for 4syns (mix of 2tbsp light salad cream, 3tbsp lighter than light mayo and 1tsp wholegrain mustard- loosened with some water).

Although I kinda went crazy and had 5(!!!!) Mini caramel shortbreads- each is 3syns... So it's a flexi-30syn day. Just couldn't resist them- I just turned into a feind. Craving sugar so thinking TOTM might be nearing it's ugly head!!
 
I bet they were worth it though. :D
 
I actually am quite fond of asda for the substitutes thing - I order all smart price stuff and quite often get branded stuff for smart price prices as they don't have it in. And if they send the smart price stuff most of it is okay. I sound like a right cheapskate there.:D I do send back anything not slimming world friendly that is substituted and then you have to wait for the refund etc so it is a bit of a faff I admit.
 
Haha Snow!! I buy a lot of smartprice/ everyday value stuff as well. Love it when the substitutions are decent but so annoyed with them today! H2B accepted the delivery so I couldn't give it back.

Almost felt like saying "f it" for the diet today. Had a bad day- a row with h2b meant dinner was practically cancelled (was going to do some lovely chicken breast burgers with SW wedges and my coleslaw- postponing until tomorrow), I caved and scoffed those shortcakes and been craving chocolate and crisps all day and I just don't seem full. Plus Reece hasn't been sleeping well so is grumpy :( A bad day before WI. Just what I need after my gain last week.

I flexi synned 30syns today- and used every single one. And I want more.

Todays food-
B: Nothing.
L: Spicy prawn and chorizo pasta (50g chorizo 3.5syns, onions, chilli, tinned tomatoes, prawns and pasta). Haven't had it in ages and OMG it was yum!
D: Chicken and coleslaw sandwich (chicken breast pieces, 1/4 of my homemade coleslaw 1syn (some on the side of the plate as I made a lot!), 60g WM bread hexB).

Snacks: 5 x caramel shortcake bites 15syns. 1 x quality street 2.5syns. Multipack bag of space raiders 3syns. Mango. Banana. Satsuma.
Drinks: Costa medium skinny vanilla latte (skimmed milk hexA and syrup 3syns). Water. Cups of tea (sweetener and 100ml skimmed milk 2syns)
Syn Total- 30syns :(

Food remorse time.
 
Don't worry about today :( Just go back to normal tomorrow and put it behind you.
Maybe have a few days without worrying about SW? You sound like you need to de-stress and relax. Big hugs x
 
On plan today! Although forgot to WI as I was up super early to watch the Japanese grand prix. Was a horrible incident so feeling a little shaken after watching it- one of the drivers hit a recovery vehicle (pretty much went under it) and had to have emergency head surgery and is in critical condition :(

Todays food-
B: Alpen light part hexB.
L: Spicy prawn and chorizo pasta (50g chorizo 3.5syns, onions, chilli, tinned tomatoes, prawns and pasta)
D: Chicken breast coated in schwartz seasoning. SW wedges. 1/4 homemade coleslaw 1syn.

Snacks: Satsuma. Plum. Yogurt. Tesco multipack bag popcorn 3syns. Space raiders 3syns. Mini time out 4.5syns.
Drinks: Cups of tea (sweetener and skimmed milk hexA) Coke zero. Water.
Syn Total- 15syns

Had a controlled but yum binge on crisps and a chocolate bar!! Sooo good.
 
Just skipping today! I was on plan and even made myself a salad for lunch but then I got to work and it was pretty rubbish (but nothing worse than normal) plus it was raining so my salad was less than appetising! So a friend I haven't spoke to in ages popped to my department and we arranged to go for lunch. She is also on SW but we both went for a burger with cheese and bacon, a little bbq sauce and 2 battered onion rings. Plus chips and coleslaw!!
And I had a small glass of wine, which slid down far too easily!! I could've sat there gossiping and drinking wine all afternoon!!
We guesstimate that it was about 50syns!!

Apart from that I was good! Had fruit for snacks, a special k chewy bar and a packet of space raiders. Drank water and a fanta zero!

Oops...

Back on plan tomorrow!!

But I weighed this morning and im back down to 12st 10.5lb :) 3lb loss from my gain last week!!
 
Got caught out by convenience food at lunchtime today *facepalm* I guessed it wouldn't be low but didn't think it'd be quite as high so I'd go over.

But Costa messed up my coffee order (again!!) and forgot my syrup so at least I saved 3syns. To be honest, I quite liked the plain latte as recently I've been finding Costa syrup too sweet so maybe I'll save the syns there and just have a skinny latte.
Or I'll just go to Starbucks and have syrup in there because its nicer!!

Going to try and make my syns this week a little lower to compensate for the two bad days.

On another plus side, work wasn't as horrific today! Phone lines weren't as busy so I had time to enjoy idle chit chat with my workmates so it felt like less pressure and I feel like I'm doing something positive whilst I'm sorting out my CV to apply for some internal positions.

Shame about the wrap - especially as that's their healthy range! Have you ever tried the sugar free syrups in coffee. Costa's and starbucks are both free (do they both use Monin?) There are limited flavours in the shops though (normally either vanilla, hazelnut or caramel or some combination) I didn't used to like the sugar free ones when I was a regular coffee drinker (I had to cut right back due to migraines) but have found them okay recently . I am thinking of buying some for home though as amazon used to have more flavours. I am hoping to get a sugar free gingerbread when it's seasonal.
 
MC- I know! ! I shouldve gone for the veggie sushi which is 2.5syns but im not a big fan of veggie sushi that uses egg pancakes- I'd prefer a veggie sushi that just uses veggies!!

Incredible to think it was more than a king pot noodle, when the wrap is meant to be healthy and the pot noodle is meant to be junk!!
But over all I think only 1.5syns over was pretty good considering I had that wrap.

Snow- Costa, Pret a manger and Cafe Nero use Monin syrup but Starbucks use their own branded one. I think Monin syrups are incredibly sweet so I normally only have the vanilla (which doesn't come sugar free in any of the ones by me) but lately it's still been too sweet!
Haven't ever tried gingerbread so I may do when Christmas rolls closer!
Starbucks do a pumpkin latte for Halloween and its yum!!!

L: Spanish style baked eggs (50g chorizo 3.5syns, onions, chilli, tinned tomatoes, bell peppers, 2 x eggs). 60g WM bread hexB for dunking!!
D: Chicken breast in Bachelors high veg garlic and mushroom pasta n sauce (made with water) topped with 30g reduced fat cheddar part hexA and baked! Yum!

Snacks: 2 x space raiders 6syns. Multipack sweet and salty popcorn 3.5syns. Mango. Pear. 2 x yogurts. Satsuma. Plum. Was quite hungry today!!
Drinks: Cups of tea (1 with 1tsp sugar 1syn- playgroup! The rest with sweetener and skimmed milk part hexA) Water. Coke zero.
