A yummy (and happier and healthier) mummy - for good this time!

Thanks Snow! He is sleeping soundly and breathing deeply through his nose so nothing is blocking his nasal passages. Plus his nose seems to have stopped running so that's a good sign.

Is kinda funny in hindsight- you hear stories about it but dont ever think itd be you telling them! Was terrifying at the time though- I was so panicked and h2b had to come home from work to take us to the hospital!

Reece will never live this down- im going to tell the story of when he got raisins stuck up his nose to all his friends when hes a teenager!!
 
I must admit I was worried at first but have had a little giggle :) glad to hear no harm done, and you have a good embarrassing story haha.
Yum yum to the Pizza Hut- disappointing that you are still a bit peckish! X

I didn't eat anything afterwards though- didn't feel the need so I probably was full and was just being greedy thinking of the other pizza hut yummies I could've also had!!

The raisin incident doesn't appear to have deterred him- almost had a scrunched up sticker up there earlier (although think he may have been trying to stick it on his nose rather than up it!)

Being good today as it is Reece's birthday tomorrow and we are going out to a soft play, having lunch at McDonald's and then cake! We may skip the McDonald's though and hope the soft play has reasonably priced food instead!
 
He is aware tomorrow is something special although he just looks confused when people keep wishing him a happy birthday for tomorrow! Im just hoping he has a good day :)

On the news there's been a horrible story of a new mother taking her 4 day old baby from the hospital wrapped in nothing but a blanket and they've both been found dead :( The hospital is where Reece was born and its scary because I had post-natal depression and a history prior to pregnancy but I never got that bad. I cant imagine how that poor woman was feeling or thinking. Made me hug Reece a little bit harder today and feel so lucky I got help for it when I did.

Todays food (EE day)-
B: Banana.
L: Asda chicken paella style rice 2syns. Half a satsuma. Half a banana.
D: Chicken breast coated in schwartz seasoning. SW chips. Roasted cherry tomatoes and bell pepper. 2tbsp lighter than light mayo 1syn.

Snacks: Mango. Yogurt. Pops 4syns. Special K chewy bar hexB.
Drinks: Generic regular skinny mocha (skimmed milk hexA and cocoa 3syns) 4 x cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of skimmed milk 2syns) Pepsi max. Water.
Syn Total- 12syns
 
Thanks Rosie- he had a great day :) Loved the soft play and his presents- especially as we let him loose in a toy shop so he could pick one for himself (thankfully he went for a £9 character teddy instead of something horrifically expensive).

I was off plan yesterday with the little party at my parents- I avoided some things apart from a bacon sandwich (with fat and margarine on white bread!), birthday cake and I had leftover Domino's for dinner (although that made me feel much better for spending the money seems as it lasted two meals!)

And WI today showed a 2lb gain :( I was expecting it though so am not too disheartened. I deserve it following the weekend ive had and the midweek takeaway!

Sounds like a lovely weekend! I'm sure it could have been a lot worse, so well done on resisting most of it. Confession time- I never take the fat off my bacon, its the best bit lol :p
2lb gain, you can bet some of that will be water retention since bacon and dominoes are quite salty. You had a good loss last week that you weren't convinced by too! Either way, if you enjoyed it then that's the main thing :) hope you have a nice Sunday x
 
It was a lovely weekend :)

Couldn't update my diary yesterday as the app on my phone was being stupid and wouldnt load! Grr!

Was on plan and barely used any syns until my evening snacks- helped that we had a day in! We were considering going to the park but Reece has picked up a horrible cold so we kept him in. His cough is terrible and is keeping him awake :( Wish there was something I could do apart from calpol and cooled honey and lemon.

Yesterdays food (green day)-
B: Half a satsuma.
L: 2 x cheese and marmite sandwiches (120g WM bread hexB1+2, 60g reduced fat cheddar hexA1+part hexA2 and marmite) Banana.
D: Mushroom risotto (risotto rice, mushrooms, onion, herbs, stock- used a knorr veggie stock pot, as is way more flavoursome and think they are free!)

Snacks: Mini time out 4.5syns. Pops 4syns. Yogurt. Fruit salad (pear, kiwi and plum) Half pot of chocolate mousse 2.5syns.
Drinks: Cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of skimmed milk part hexA2) Diet orangeade. Water.
Syn Total- 11syns
 
Mum is feeling a little better thankfully! Must've just been a stomach virus or a little bit of food poisoning.

Unfortunately Reece's cold is now getting worse- the nursery even rang me and h2b at work because he had a very high temperature and they gave him some calpol. His cough is very phlegmy so worried it may be progressing towards a chest infection. Trip to the doctors tomorrow!

On a plus side I went to work today and then found out id booked myself a half day about a month ago!! Awesome!! Id booked it with the assumption I was going to book a hair appointment- and my hair dresser had a cancellation so I was even able to get my hair cut (muchly needed!)

Didn't post yesterday (again!) Oops! I am so useless sometimes!

L: Cheese and tomato sandwich (60g WM bread hexB1, 25g philadelphia light part hexA1 and sliced tomato) Yogurt. Banana. Satsuma. Alpen light part hexB2.
D: Tomato pasta (pasta, 1/2 jar tesco goodness pasta sauce 2syns, onion and tomatoes)

Snacks: Pretzels 4.5syns. Space raiders 3syns. Fruit salad (pear, kiwi, apple, plum and grapes). Yogurt. Alpen light part hexB2.
Drinks: Costa medium skinny vanilla latte (skimmed milk hexA2 and syrup 2syns) Cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of skimmed milk part hexA1) Diet orangeade. Options hot chocolate 2syns.
Syn Total- 13.5syns
