hey everyone. have managed to navigate leeds city centre and the christmas market without falling over in the snow and ice. the market wasn't great. it just doesn't have the same lure when you can't drink the mulled wine
thomas seems to have hidden both my army boots and my wellies during operation cleanup so i ended up wearing fabric shoes and now cannot feel my feet... am sure i'll be able to feel them a little too much as they warm up again though...
YEP a warm day, 27 degrees and 29 ish tomorrow and then 35 on Wednesday! Love it.
We are off to Tassie for Xmas to stay with hubby's folks. Then home for 1 day and packing a bag and on the motorbike we go for a 5 day 4 night road trip outback!
bren, that trip sounds amazing. and the weather enviable. i love the snow, but i keep having to go out in it to do things that aren't playing, and that's just cold and miserable, ha.
off to denmark tomorrow have been checking that the flights and trains are running today, and they are, so hopefully they will also be running tomorrow...
Abz have a wonderful Xmas in Denmark hun and good news to hear about the planes still operating. I have heard some shocking stories about UK holiday goers being stranded because of airline strikes?
