Abi's weightloss diary - post jaw surgery

i'm fine jim. rather tired. woke up at 5 when the cat jumped on me and didn't really get back to sleep except after the alarm went off at 7 and i was hitting snooze, so rather useless really :( and when i was trying to go to sleep the baby was booting the mattress as i have to sleep on my side now. kept me awake but i did rather enjoy it :) ha.

how are you grandaddy jim? are you a grandad, grandpa, gramps? what is your name of choice?

Poor Jamie and Carol, Olivia has been sleeping soundly during the day, only waking to eat and stuff, but at night she tuns into a little demon, crying all night long and she won't settle.
 
oh jim. i really feel for them. but then mine seems to be awake all the time!! and is especially awake just as i'm trying to sleep, ha. so i suppose it probably takes a while for them to get into the rhythm of when they are supposed to be asleep :)

it was a bit better yesterday bon but i'm not feeling great this morning. so far so good. i nicked the bread from home so had toast when i got here this morning... but my insides haven't decided what to do with it yet...

i've had some sad news this morning about somebody i know that i can't write about. but my heart is breaking for her. there isn't anything i can say or do to make anything better for her. i just hope that things turn out alright :(

trying to stay positive but it's really hard hearing bad news when you are at work, and hormonal, and very prone to worrying :(

onwards though. i have a server to build (well, a pretend test one to build) today so i'll concentrate on that.

thanks hon :) am having a cuppa and checking files have been archived.. individually. this is going to take a while. bit of a holdup on the software i need for my server so that may be on the backburner for a wee while...
 
Shame about that news abz.
 
it is jo. a lady i know is pregnant with triplets. she is only one day ahead of me in her pregnancy and she is in hospital and in slow labour :( they don't think they can do anything to stop it and her babies are too tiny to survive so we're all hoping for something miraculous really. it really does just make you realise that all your little aches, pains and moans are worth nothing when it comes down to it. my heart is breaking for her :(

still, i've done all i can. all we can do is hope now...

have been chatting with my boss in a way we haven't done for ages. he was a good friend of mine before he was my boss and we haven't had a good natter about love, life and everything for ages. so that's been really good. unfortunately it means that i haven't been doing much checking on these archived files so i really should get on with it... ha.
 
Sorry you're sad Abz. It's so hard when someone you know is having a really hard time and there's nothing you can do. As Bon said, look after yourself x

i'm good jim. the bad news couldn't get any worse, but at least we know the outcome now :(

my workmate is here and it's the first time i've seen him in about a month. our shifts haven't coincided for a very long time!! it's nice to have a catch up.

thanks bon. hoping that thomas's work will allow him to go to work now the snow is melting. we're really struggling financially while he isn't getting paid. and i'm sure they're still doing it so they can get away without paying him :(
 
hmm. am considering doing a jacket potato in the microwave at work. and maybe heating up my tomato soup too... mmm. yes. i think that will work. have been trying to persuade myself that i didn't need to go out and buy anything and i just might have managed it, ha.

well i didn't have the soup in the end. although i am starting to feel hungry again so i may have it soon, ha. i am starting to go cross eyed going through this list so i'm having a wee break. the poker is on sky sports 2 so i've been watching that. these people are INSANE. there is so much money flying all over the place. my boss is laughing at my incredulity, ha.
