hey guys. i'm fine. i wasn't feeling too well yesterday and have been rather busy. i actually finally went swimming on tuesday, ha. was very sore afterwards and am very glad i decided against a water birth as being wet was so irritating. the shower afterwards was fab though :)

off to buy nursing bras this aft (sorry jim). the thrills of being nearly full term!! aargh, ha. bump is wriggling around like nobody's business. making me feel rather sick actually.

yesterday i was very dizzy and shaky. i slept a LONG time and when i finally woke up i felt like my blood sugar was really low. so a couple of bowl fulls of bran flakes and some tinned pears and some mini twister ice lollies later we're all good, ha. but it wiped me for the rest of the day. must be more careful!!

right. i'm off out. hope you are all doing ok?

well a pasta n sauce for tea it is. i must admit i had three donuts for breakfast :S so not the healthiest day to say the least!! but i NEEDED them, hee.

ooh linzi. how exciting. great that she's got a date. i'll come and catch up. don't spend long online these days.

had a midwife appointment this morning. she says my baby feels small but not too small, so that's good :) i keep measuring correctly, but given a lot of that is flab and she's still always on one side i thought she might be tiny. also have to have a glucose tolerance test as i had a funny turn on wednesday. i think that's what instigated the donut requirements... ha.

gosh you've been busy whilst I've been away! Good to know that all is going fairly well - apart from the glucose worries. Not long for you to wait now. Good luck with it all and take it as easy as you can.
 
Hi Abz, well basically I've been looking after my Mum and Dad, then Dad died in January and i've been looking after Mum. It's been a really awful time, it still is a lot of the time actually, but I'm trying to make some time for me and get back on the weight loss wheel!

You have certainly been busy, a wedding and a baby nearly here! All very good happy stuff that is lovely to read about.

Missed you and really looking forward to reading about the new arrival!

Thanks Abz and Jim. You are so right Jim, I had no idea how tough it was going to be. Some days I am ok and others I am just a mess. I guess I juts need some time to go by.
 
I know love, time does heal, but it can take a long time Barb.
 
hi everyone. sorry i've been absent yet again. i seem to be either ill or asleep at the moment!!

and i've gained 9lbs in a fortnight!! i'm not entirely sure how that's possible, even if i lived on pizza, but i felt like poop after weigh in last night :(

ah well. baby is nearly here now. not long left. time is going so fast!! and i am full of aches and pains, ha. have a cracking headache so am just chilling out today. off to a bbq tomorrow and possibly my goddaughter's birthday party on sunday :)
