Feeling a bit bleeuuuggghh at the mo....can't remember if I've said this already but I've got really bad pains in my tummy at the mo (ever since that carvery!!!) which I put down to trapped wind/indegestion but it hadn't gone away.
It's half day closing at my doctors today, so I rang NHS direct who were about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. They just confirmed that I wasn't about to drop down dead, and told me I should see the doctor!
So that's where I'm at...the pain isn't terrible, I'm just worried about what it might be because it isn't crampy like a tummy bug or even TOTM.
Anyway, enough of my ailments! Onto the food...

Yesterday:
Porridge
Snack size raisins
Leek & potato soup, 2 x bread (large loaf)
? can't remember what snack I had in the afternoon
2 quorn sausages, 1 quorn burger, 2 slics of eggy bread (small loaf), beans.....yum yum
Slice of SW quiche
WW mini magnum lolly

Today's food:
Porridge
Snack size raisins
Tomato soup, 2 x bread (small loaf)
Apple
Tesco meatballs with spaghetti, extra leeks & mushrooms
Dutch crispbread with Phili light
Probaby a WW desert before bed

Thank you x...it's still a bit painful, but I think I'm through the worst of it now....I'm still none the wiser about what it is/was!
Just a quick post, because I'm expecting my friend to arrive at any moment, but I wanted to post my food diary for today in case I forget:

Porridge
Snack sized raisins
Jacket spud with extra light tuna mayo
Alpen light bar
Home made tuna risotto
The very end bit of a fresh crusty loaf I bought today with a little bit of lurpack light (I couldn't resist, but the rest of it has now been safely sliced into chunks and frozen so I don't get tempted again!)
A bit of turkey ham out of the packet (not ideal but I was starving when I was putting the shopping away!)

And I'm having vodka tonight, but not too much of it (hopefully!)

woooop wooooop enjoy ya voddka! say hi to my god old friend haha hiicccup!

OMG, I can't believe how quiet it is here today...have you all secretly got to your goal weights and deserted me!??

Well this weekend has been OK, but quiet. I saw my friends Hannah and vodka on Friday night.....managed to stick to two VERY large measures, so I didn't feel rough on Saturday.
Can't remeber exactly what I ate on Saturday, but this is what I remember:

3 rashers of bacon (fat removed)
1 slice of eggy bread
beans
Dorset cereal bar
Steak, side salad and home made potato salad with extra light mayo
WW chocolate brownie desert
Probaby some ham, as this seems to be my obsession lately (eaten while standing at the fridge)

Yesterday I can remember a bit better:
Porridge with a bit of museli mixed in
Oatybar
Snack sized raisins
3 little melba toasts with a scraping of Philli extra light and ham
Morrisons eat smart lasagne
Jacket potato with a tiny bit of lurpack light
Curly Wurly
WW toffee desert (lost my self-control at this point, I'd already had the Curly Wurly so didn't 'need' another desert!)

So that's that. Not the most focussed weekend, but not the worst either. And this has been the first week in ages that I haven't eaten out anywhere, so I'm hoping for a decent-ish weight loss on Wednesday.

I also did a whole hour's worth of exercise yesterday as well. Made my own Wii riser out of a spare bit of kitchen worktop (very effective!) and did 20 mins free step, plus 10 minutes super advanced boxing, then about 25 minutes on the exercise bike. I *almost* enjoyed it as well :)

Hi Alex, I'm glad to see you, thought I was the only one here. Sounds like you have had a good weekend. Your friend and mine Mr Vodka did pay a visit to me too but not a prolonged one so that was ok. Well done on the exercise too, the most I got done this weekend was going out in the car and clocking a few walks for me to do. Turns out I already walk 2.5 miles a day just getting the kids to and from school. I thought it was about 2 but wasn't sure. I'd love to know why I am so overweight!
There are worse things to eat than ham you know! And the melba toasts with Philly are fab...
Have a great day, hope somebody else turns up soon too!

absolutely bucketing it down here. would prefer snow. I like snow!

Not so keen on rain :p

Well, my weather update is.....rain but no snow (yet). Can't believe it's almost Easter and we're having more snow!
A couple of years ago, I went out for my birthday (mid April) and it was so nice we ended up spending the afternoon in a beer garden. Everybody wore shorts/skirts and strappy tops because it was so hot (except me - I wouldn't expose my bingo wings for love nor money ) I doubt it'll be the same this year though, I'll probably be digging the sledge out!!

Had a good day food wise yesterday. Got my appointment with the nurse tomorrow so trying to stay focussed:

Porridge
Snack sized raisins
WW soup (mexican bean) thick slice of crusty bread
Alpen Light bar
WW beef in black bean sauce, with half a pack of Oriental Express chow mein thingy (strange combination but it tasted OK)
WW choc brownie desert
Some ham (again!)
Some pickled onions (another fridge-grazing obsession)

OMG the heavens have just opened while I've been writing this...so glad I'm indoors!!

Off to Farmfoods to replenish my WW supplies tonight :D

Good luck with the nurse, Alex, looking forward to hearing the loss. I will weigh tomorrow too as the finish of the March challenge. How is the Lenten scale campaign going anyway? I failed dramatically and in fact probably weigh myself more now than I ever did. Nearly over and then you can serial weigh once more!

I've stuck to it 100% actually! I never thought I'd do it, and I've come close to caving in a couple of times, but I kept reminding myself that this is actually supposed to be a sacrifice/challenge and so there's not much point if I cheat! It's hard though, especially when an appointment with the nurse is imminent, like this week.
I think once it's over, I'll try for once every 2-3 days...but knowing me, I'll probably go back to serial weighing :D

hello hun!

hope u made it to FF's lol did u take ur speed boat out?

good luck for wi tomoz hun

xxxxxxxxx

Yeah, I made it to FFs! It was chucking it down though!! :( Was a bit gutted because the WW meals were £1 and BOGOF but they only had the curry & rice left.

Well I've weighed in this morning, and all I lost was half a sodding pound!! It just doesn't make sense some weeks does it???:cry::cry::cry:

No, you're right, it doesn't make sense sometimes but it is still a loss and maybe next week it will be more. This is what we have to tell ourselves...
Have a great day
