Ally's Diary - take two

Baddddd day. I am not even going to add up the syns, i daren't, wouldn't be surprised if i am in triple figures. Highly doubting I'll lose tomorrow, expecting a gain. Especially after 2 bad days in a week. I am writing to cadbury and demanding they stop producing chocolate and chocolate related produce.

Ha ha good luck getting cadbury to stop making choc. Have you worked out how many hours you need to do on your new toy to claw it back? Only kidding just draw a line and get back on the wagon. Do you think the choccie porridge set you off. I try not to have choccie early in the day for that reason. :D

Nah more like the mini eggs last week :p just been on my treadmill only did 0.5km, but i did have the speed at full at one point, thank god for safety cords is all I'll say, half the speed was enough to get me out of breath xD

Gained half a pound. Not surprised at all, actually expected more.

I have a challenge for myself today, my mum and dad are off out for a meal and i know when they are not in is when i'm most likely to raid the cupboards. Tonights challenge is to not to that. I'm planning on a half hour treadmill session, possibly while watching Supernatural then just plain watching Supernatural :p

Better than yesterday :p Not as busy today?

Its useful having an iceland near me when i just fancy a yogurt. And I walked straight past the chocolate :D

lol well done for walking straight past the chocolate! Busy busy day for me but im on my lunch, and today i refuse to work through it! Just munching on some grapes, feel super bloated today!!

Dont give up your lunch for anyone, last time i was made to work my lunch i made my boss let me leave early. Only a few more days of feeling bloated :p

How you finding the treadmill? I have always been terrified of them but braved it today at the gym and did day1 of c25k. Yay!

Love it, though i'm still to scared to take my hands off the bars, makes me feel off balance, but i'm fine as long as even just my finger tips touch the bars. Did 35 mins on one of the built in programmes yesterday, basically it increased the speed up to 5k and then dropped to 3 and back to 5 every so often. And then i decided i was going to see how fast i could go before i felt to unstable/cant breath....got to 8k and couldnt keep up anymore haha. I still don't like the feeling when i get off though, body thinks its still moving, feels like i'm on a boat haha

Yeh I had total jelly legs as well when I got off lol.

Heard lots of good things about c25k so thought I would give it a try - it builds you up over a few weeks to be able to run the full 5k. You start off mainly fast walking with 1min periods of running then it gradually builds up the running parts and reduces the walking breaks.

I have no idea how fast I am supposed to have it for running lol :-/ the fastest I braved was 8.5 but 7.5 seemed nicer lol! X

I was going to try c25k last year but didnt. Went on treadmill again last night and put it on programme 2...went up to 6k. I was cursing at it cos it kept bleeping to tell me the speed was changing and then kept it at 6k while i was slowly losing the will to live, then it slower to 2k and i was like "this is snails pace", it couldnt keep me happy haha

Breakfast: scrambled egg and bacon on toast
Lunch: Tuna sandwich, banana, nectarine, kiwi
Tea: Chicken Chasseur

Hea: milk

Heb: bread

Good stuff for startin the treadmill guys! I love using it and I can even run on it a bit! Dont hold on to the bars because it takes some of the effort out. If you are worried, just start at a slow speed and move your arms as if you are marching when you walk normally, and then slowly increase it. youll end up using far more muscles if you walk like that. If your feeling really brave, stick some hand weights around your wrists while you walk!

I did let go last night, but only when it was on 3/4k, i have the rhythm of a gnat so after a minute or so i totally lose the rhythm and end up tripping myself up, i'll get used to it eventually xD
