Had a lovely brunch yesterday, just as well i did as didnt get to have my lush roast dinner :-( got thrown away today sigh.

So enjoyed my dinner tonight of cold meats, new potatoes and salad with homemade low syn coleslaw. Followed by Onken fat free mango and apple yogurt. I really had better have lost weight this week!

Very quiet on here, I'm fighting with the tumbleweed lolol xx

Hi Val how are you? Certainly tis beautiful yep. Are you doing well? I thought I was doing really well but had a sneaky peek this morning and the scales say I havn't lost a bean!!! GGGrrrrrrr dunno what on earth I'm doing wrong.

Am going to attempt homemade sugar free turkish delight later, and maybe some sugar free marshmallows, could be interesting eh?

Dunno what's for dinner tonight yet, must go and have a look in the freezer and decide......xx
 
Hee hee the turkish delight didn't quite work, dissolved almost as soon as i took it out of the moulds......marshamallows were much better though but not quite as light as the real thing :)

Well I must admit I didn't go to class again last night.....I don't understand why I'm not losing. I am making a special diet plate as we speak, and have sorted out a swim suit that I feel slightly ok in, so....

Right 6 weeks I'm giving it......no more and no less.....feel proud that I'm not giving up though!

The sunshiney days are great days for lush salads and barbeques, yummy yummy! xx

Glad to hear you are still sticking to it, I'm sure it will all pay off in the end. Your meals always look yummy and healthy too. Fingers crossed for a good loss next week. Think I told you my class day has changed so I can't make it anymore but I'm finding it OK sticking to plan, with the odd treat (was out last night so 4 beers n 2 wines!)...but I've managed to lose the weight I gained on holiday. Hope you have a lovely weekend

I've gone off the rails a bit this last couple of days but will try and be good again. Drawing a line under today cos been too naughty....but from the minute I wake up in the morning I shall be back on track. Too hot to eat too much anyways.....lots of nice pasta salads or rice salads coming up methinks. Got loads of meat in the freezer and have written down a load of marinades and sauces from the SW book, so no excuse really lol. As for the swimsuit previously mentioned....I didn't realise I had 22 swimsuits....yes 22!!!!! Most still have labels on never been worn except to just try them on. My trouble is, I am rather large in the bust department and need a lot of support. Most of these swimsuits promised such support but didn't deliver, hence I've never worn them. I've found one, so will hopefully go for a swim next week, have promised my daughter can come with me too, and she won't let up now I've said that (which is good....isn't it??). Must admit, did have a few moments of thinking I would go back to Cambridge, but remembered how miserable it made me even though I lost weight very quickly. I really wanted to be slimmer this summer sigh. like I said, let's see what I can do in the next 6 weeks.......xx

Happy Easter to you too Suzie. I've been bought a Baileys Truffles easter egg....yum yum...and I'm going to enjoy it tomorrow. I'm also doing lunch for family tomorrow, SW roast beef dinner and meringue with lots of fresh fruit (no cream for me!) x
 
Went to the pub tonight, felt reasonable in my expensive Next maxi dress......then the sexy youngies walked in including a girl I've known for years whos always been a bit porkie but has lost loads of weight on SW and looked fantastic and I burst into tears left OH there and walked home :-(

Why does everyone else do so well on SW except me??? What the hell am I doing so wrong??? Have I buggered up my metabolism by doing Cambridge??? Sorry folks just having a woe is me minute again....I'll snap out of it. (Plus the fact my arm is hurting like hell) xx
 
Oh my love, sorry to hear you got upset. Was this girl younger than you? I found I lost much quicker when i was younger, having been on and off SW for about 10 years now. I'm 39 this year and am findind my losses are slower. Not always easy to do, but I try and look at it that I am losing, albeit slow...and more importantly I am NOT gaining. Please try and not be too harsh on yourself, your dedication is second to none and you can do no more than what you already are. Big hugs too you, hope you are feeling OK today xxx
 
Hi Heather sweetie, yes she was younger. I posted on FB how I felt that night and had quite a few messages (bless them all). Some one did actually point out that the mentioned girl has been doing SW for quite a while, whereas I've only been doing it for 12 weeks.

I've been using my special SW plate that I made (pic on fb), the OH was most bemused when he dished out our roast dinner ('so where am I meant to put it all???') bless him, the whole point of having the smaller plate is to have smaller portions, I had to stop him piling it high lol. I wasn't well yesterday either, kept being sick so think that helped a bit too. Not the right way or nicest way to lose weight tho lol. We're having a bit of a barbeque tonight, just the 3 of us and have lots of fresh meat to marinade and will make some coleslaw. Didn't have one single chocolate egg, so maybe I'm not quite as bad as I thought I have been.....

Well, back to work tomorrow, must start making proper lunches to take. Hope everyone has enjoyed their easter weekend xxx

I have been off plan for a week and did not WI on Saturday.
Saw photos of me when we went to London on Friday for daughter's 21st and feel so annoyed with myself for getting so "big".I bought a new dress and thought it looked ok until I saw the photos:eek:
Now very depressed about being 50 in 3 weeks:mad:
Sorry, rant over, just needed saying:)
Back on track today, though had migraine earlier which isn't helping my mood!

Holidaygirl thanks love, hope your headache is better now and you are feeling positive now. You and I are very alike, amazing what damage photos can do to our self esteem, but this time next year we'll be WANTING people to take pics of us I bet!! Back on track together now, come on!!!! xx

Had 2 alpen lights for brekkie this morning as was running a bit late, had tuna mixed with sweetcorn and 6 x finncrisp.....then realised I'd had 2 hex b's!!! Damm! So have had to use 6 syns. Ah well, lots of superfree and free for dinner methinks!!!

My wonderful OH, who is off work this week, made a gorgeous bolognese before I got home, all I have to do is cook the pasta and heat it up for when he and DD get back from taekwondo. Ahhhhh I love that man!! He's doing SW too so knows all the tricks of the trade. Was starving when I came in (guess what?? I actually went swimming after work!!!!) so I've got a mugshot as I write cos dinner won't be till about half 8.

I must just say, in all seriousness, I have some wonderful friends on here, minimins in general and on the minimins group on Facebook. Don't think you realise how much I appreciate all your comments and support, you actually keep me going, and those of you have been chatting with me for a while know that I do have 'moments' where I get very down and despondant. I hope I am as supportive to you guys as you are to me xxxx

off to class tonight, we're having a 'wedding' party so have to dress in red, white and blue and take munchies so I've made SW cupcakes and made red, white and blue 'icing' using greek total 0% yogurt and sweetener. Speak later!!! xx
 
Well managed to pull back from my dodgy week and lost 1/2lb. Still 2 and a hlf more than I managed to get to, would be nice to get back there next week :)

Watched the wedding, was lovely! Back to work tomorrow, then Sunday off and working again Monday. Then after work Monday have to go to work (as an interview) have been shortlisted 1 of 2 for a job as a cook in a residential home. So will be out of the house from half 7 in morning till about half 9 at night. Must make sure I have planned and taken plenty of food with me! Would be really good to get job though.

Thanks for your positive vibes:) but I have to be honest and say I went off plan, by choice this week, as last.:eek:
I felt that with the medication I am on for anxiety/depression and the low mood I had hit (after doing so well) I was not helping myself by putting on the extra pressure of having to lose weight.:confused:
I did weigh in today and have put on half a pound, so 5lb in all over the 2 weeks.
I know I can do it but the time isn't the best at the moment so I am going to go with how I feel, each day.
Hope that makes sense:)

Don't beat yourself up over it hun, you know when the time is right you can do it. I havn't been so good either, tonight I've already had 2 bottles of lemon VK, reckon that's my syns gone for the day. Have been really good all day tho, if you don't count the fact I didn't have any breakfast and a jacket with beans and ham at lunch.
Tonight apparently we're having chicken breast with bacon, new potatoes and carrots.....but I'm not hungry :-(

Hope you are all lucky enough to be having another 4 day weekend, I had mine last week so can't complain xx

Walked the dog with OH this morning, the dog was positevly skipping along to have both of us with her:)
