Thanks, somehow it never fells like that at the time (inventive) and is mostly a question of 'what's in the fridge'
Well for todays PP it was:
B: Oatbran porridge with cinnamon quark
S: cup of tea
L: (getting hungry from about 11 but managed to hold out!) a slice of slow-cooked roast beef shredded and heated with the (de-fatted) stock/soup that came out of it during cooking, flavoured with mustard. Poached egg, cottage cheese. Yoghurt (argh it was a fruit one, stupid me!)
S: Toffee yoghurt (everyone else was munching chocolate biscuits), cup of tea.
D: Thai-spiced prawns and omelette. Cinnamon Yoghurt.
I'm drinking a cup of fruit tea now, if I need a pick-me-up I have a SF jelly in the fridge. Fingers crossed for WI tomorrow!
After this I may well be out of contact for another few days, a few days better not to be reported to closely either! Planned two Gala meals and the rest PVs (with smaller than usual amounts of carbs on the Carb days as they will probably be made up by restrained intakes of biscuits or cakes during tea times). In outline main meals look like this:
Fri PV: Poultry Sausages (everyone else is having proper 'bratwurst' and left-over roast Goose), red cabbage, cauliflower. Maybe a glass of Cava later.
Sat Gala: Chicken Pie, mash, roasted winter veg. Glas of white wine. Dessert tbc. Maybe just coffee & chocolates
Sun: PV+Carb: Grilled turkey steaks and fresh tomato sauce (+WM pasta)(everyone else is having fresh ravioli & tom sauce)
Mon: Gala: Raclette
(Potatoes, melted cheese, pickles, veg, smoked ham...) Glass of wine, no need for dessert!!! This is a tricky one as far as 'portion control' goes as you have little bites with breaks in between, over a long time. Suppose I could load up my plate first with a proper portion of all the elements and then stick with it!
Tue: PV+Carb: Beef and Pepper stew (+WM pasta)
END OF HOLIDAYS - BACK TO WORK on WEDS.... and also back to more exercise. I miss the cycling.
Wed: PV: Mediterranean Fish Soup (dukanised version of
Chunky Mediterranean fish soup recipe - Recipes - BBC Good Food, using haddock though)
Thu PP: SLow cooked beef Roast.
Well see how it all pans out!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!:new_year:
