Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

I've probably missed loads as you ladies talk too much... but don't stop I love it haha

Hi everyone,

Hope you're all ok. I'm sorry I haven't been around - I've had so much going on! Had a bit of a skim read, but don't know where to begin with replying to everything, so perhaps I should just start from here, lol. A warm welcome to Jenna :)

I don't even know where to start! Mum is out of hospital now, had her stitches out, is up and about and doing well *phew* :) thank you to everyone for your support on that day - I had a big old cry in the office and was able to leave early to go and see her (I can't remember whether I'd already told you that part - it's been so long!). Since that day (23rd Oct), I haven't been on plan - ooooops :/

Haven't been to the gym in 2 and a half weeks either - I feel like a right little porker! Haha. Seriously need to get a grip on it now - I was so close to being back in the 9's! I'm going to be writing some food plans in the next few days with the aim of starting again on Sunday (that was my WI day). I reckon I've probably put on about 6lbs.

THE WEDDING IS OFF! Hehe, it's not that dramatic. We're having to postpone our plans for a little while as I'm having to take my vindictive, scheming ex to court - oh joy! I'm absolutely terrified about it, but if it means that the whole sorry mess is over then I'll be glad to go through it all. This has been going on for almost 2 years now and I've had enough! Negotiations haven't made any bit of difference, so he will be served with court papers and a notice of severage :)

I've been feeling mega down recently and I'm convinced that it's my diet! My water intake is down, chocolate intake is up (well - everything intake is up lol) and I feel so rubbish. You know that first step you all took when you decided to start exercising? The point where you're so tired and can't possibly see how exercise can help? I'm at that stage right now. I need to bite the bullet and get back into the gym.

Hoping to be around a lot more now and stop being such a flake. Mmmmmmmm, Flake! ;)

xoxo

Really glad to see you back :)

sorry to hear your having a hard time with certain things though, hope they get better soon. Court isn't nice but if it gets it all sorted then its the right thing, 2 years is a stupid long time for you still to be having hassle from an ex. Glad to hear your mums doing well as well

Donna that's rubbish for you. You do what is best for you and stuff everyone else. Woman on my street puts hers up day after Halloween

Guys did treadmill and actual stopped after 15 or so min. I found it so tough my legs ached. First since I started I gave up...not amused...dunno what's going on. Away collect off one feeling silly that I am actually sweating after 15 min on treadmill. Jillian would have kicked my ass lol

They'll be going up on the 1st of December I think, I don't think we'd ever put them up in November again unless it worked out like it did last year where we didn't have a free weekend in December.

Donna, its your family & if you want Xmas deccies up, you put 'em up! Some people have them up all year! Not sure why your Mum is like that with you tho, family dynamics are complicated so wouldn't really like to say.

Deb, some days are just like that, it happens to us all when we just cant be a****! Try not let it put you off tho, as tomorrow is a new day & you'll feel better for it x

GOOD LUCK FOR WI TONIGHT Donna & Charlene x

My mum is lovely, don't get me wrong and I know she loves me. I don't think she realises she does it, I try to ignore it but its just sometimes very hard to do so.

Oooo Annie good to see you back ! Missed you Chica :) glad to see your trying to get back into the swing of things. Don't worry about the past few days you'll get your head back in it very soon I'm sure xxx

So I was sat at work thinking.... I might take a bikini shot on Friday morning for you all to see....

Reasons for this are as follows....

1. My aim had been to get to 9st by then but obviously went the by the by and so baring in mind recent circumstances I'm embracing the pregnancy body and (2.) want HONEST opinions about it.
3.Ill be over 11 weeks and so will be a bump update for you all.

Oooo I want a bump update, I'd post a bikini pic of me for you all but noone wants to be subjected to that

Thanks for the good lucks guys, but I maintained, which doesn't make sense! How did I maintain one week after having loads of pizza, burger, chips and cake, another week after even more cake, rocky road and mulled wine and then the next week when I've been 100% on plan.... get it together body!!!

My run was good though, it was freezing but so glad I went out for it, really enjoyed it and I've been told maybe I should think about only doing beginners on a Thursday and joining proper training on a Tuesday... eeeee.... but I need a shower now because I'm being all gross and came on here before washing myself so I smell

nikki cant wait to see your little bump ;o) my little bump is 3yrs soon, cant believe it.

Kim i know your right about my treadmill today - not going to let it get to me. Back to jillian tomorrow ;o)

not too fussed this week ladies regarding the scales, etc. Not been eating too badly but could be better, yet could be worse so i would say am doing fairly ok. Hoping to get my head in gear though as i am slacking big time though at least i am sticking to the excercise!!

good stuff donna, thats great about the scales and your running group. I can only manage 3 or so minutes at a not very fast speed to i am thinking of taking to the streets again - see if it makes a difference x

Well done HP that is great (copying jenna with the HP haha) cant believe how much the scales are changing so much this week and you get a 2lb loss!! fabby dabby and enjoy your treat

oh i have heard of that but how much does it flush you out if you know what i mean? would hate to go to work and have an accident oopps/ What does it taste like? would it mess up your bodys natural ryhthmn? so many questions - do you always take it

Thank u!!!

I always take it now.

It's different really. The first few days u take it u might run to toilet next morning. ( I would take it 2 hours before u leave work and it might kick in when I get home n get dinner)

Then u sort of regulate. And know when u need to go.

If I take it in morning then I would go to loo after lunch. ESP after a heavy meal u will flush out.
And when I take it at night then I got to loo in morning.

First few days u can be a tiny bit crampy. Not too much and it tastes like green tea to me. But everyone different. It's not disgusting so u can get use to it

Donna have you thought it might not be about the scales anymore?! You obviously have maintaining off to a tee & think the only way you will be able to lose now is shake things up a bit, but do you really need to lose? You're getting into your running so why not concentrate on that & toning rather than the number on the scale.

I shall have to give it a go, going to stick to what I know this week but if nothing changes (when I've been 100% ) then it's definitely time for a change :)
Green tea/herbal tea/any tea is the one route I can't go down...the idea of drinking anything warm turns me (I'm assuming all those other teas are warm) ...I don't do tea or coffee, I'm diet coke or bust haha!

What no coffee! I need 2 buckets of coffee to get me going in the morning! How much coke do you drink a day? Do you also drink water/squash?

That's nuts lol I could never drink that what fizzy juice.

Prepare yourself for this...at least 3 litres, it's a bloody expensive habit. I'd probably drink more if I could afford it. I only drink water when I'm in the gym.

Wow! Is that much good for you? There was a thread on here recently about diet coke but didn't take much notice as I don't drink it. Would water/squash not be better health wise for you? Not knocking it Jenna its just not my drink of choice, but I can't drink 3 litres of any fluid in a day....id be on the loo !

Wean yourself off & the money you don't spend on coke put away & buy a little outfit for when you reach target. How much is coke per litre?

Tesco do deals (when they do I buy in bulk haha) of 2 x 2l bottles for 3quid.

I'm sure it's probably awful for me, people write all the time how it's linked to cancer, alzheimers etc. The thing is if you read in to everything enough you'll find a problem, that's not me saying that it's healthy to drink that much coke...I highly doubt it is but I'm not going to worry about it at the mo. I could be doing worse :D I do appreciate the concern though :D

I should probably stop concentrating on the scales Kim, but I really want to loose some weight before Christmas and I still really want to see 8 stone 12 on the scale as well... which I know is probably silly as its only a number and not what people see when they look at me, but I want to see it haha. But I'm loving the running at the moment and my body is looking better, I'm also trying some firming body lotion to see if I can sort out my horrible tummy... but I'm dubious of that.

I don't drink loads of diet coke, we tend to have a glass with tea each night and that's it, unless we're out or having a party and then I drink loads. I prefer pepsi max but we buy the Morrisons or asda versions as they're so much cheaper.

Very true Jenna & if we listened to everything reported we would never leave the house or eat again!
You must spend a lot of your time belching tho lol!

I know where you're coming from Donna as its almost a personal crusade to see your magic number. Has your C got any suggestion.....cut down on portion sizes....amount of food....reduce syns to 10 a day....not sure what else to suggest. I remember we were talking about it before & you do eat quite a lot of carbs, so would more red days help?

red days are awkward for me at times, I do love them but it depends on other half. I could try more though. I think for now I am happy but would still love to see a change, consultant doesn't really know what to suggest I think she thinks I should concentrate more on the running ect. at this point. Actually the only thing she did ask was if I was having enough syns as that's what's stopped me loosing in the past.

I think my body is just awkward for the sake of being awkward to be honest, as I could eat the same two weeks and loose one of them and gain or maintain the other. When I was in the shower I did realise it could possibly be star week coming off but again with me that's unpredictable but I haven't had one for a good few months... so who knows

A main reason red days are becoming harder is now I've started running at least 3 days of the week I don't cook the meal and my boyfriend and mum don't cook anything red, sometimes do green meals but no reds :( I could make an effort to do more on the days I'm cooking though. I like my green days in this weather though haha.

Jenna I used to love diet coke. Didn't drink that amount but I know where your comin from. I used to crave it too. Then I became pregnant and couldn't face it and still can't to a point. I love my diluting juice with ice cold water
I agree Donna with everything. If your seeing good changes to body then that can only be good thing
Who wants try the slim a tea for me and report back?

I'd try it but don't know when as don't know when I'll have chance to pick some up, I already drink quite a bit of herbal tea, red bush ect. so might as well give that a go as well.
