Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

thanks ladies. i know it wasn't big gain was just taken aback at being at being at my heaviest in years. only to be expected though and cutting down and exercise has probably helped massively x
 
Deb, you should be jumping with joy as you've only put on 1.25lbs in 5 weeks, so the Shred & your eating habits must be doing some good! Im so glad you faced the scales, as I said you would be pleasantly surprised!

Good news on your shoulder Vicky. Did you get the dressings changed in the end?

I've put on 1lb 2oz this week, well deserved after my 2 days off plan at the weekend, but Im still just under my target so not too bad. I think the illusive 8.7 will be out of my reach for May 3rd.....but really, are those last couple of pounds going to make me look any different....NO!!!!!! If I get there, great, but Im not going to bust a gut to do it!

good thinking Kim. i think, for me, the scales are really just a marker to help gain control. i knew without weighing that i had to exercise and cut down...the scales only confirmed it. i will weigh again but prob not in five weeks time but sooner. it was good to live without them for while x

I'm pleased to say that at the beginning of the week I was almost touching 10 stone on the scales and today I weigh 9 stone 9.5lbs :) xxxx

Wow well done, fab loss, would be amazed if I lost this much this week, been 100% on plan so far but I just don't seem to do good losses at the moment

I love secret eaters although it winds me up at times. The people on it wind me up as I just think ahhh you honestly can't think you don't eat that much, then the advice annoys me.... a portion of spaghetti should be the size of your fist..... get lost my portions of pasta are 4 times that lol
 
Lol I thought same when dietician said it

I suppose we'd save money if I cut my portions down to that lol, or would we, I'd probably just end up snacking more
 
I'd end u eating more snacks so more spaghetti would be better option for me. It was the shock of the cheese sauce that made me think OMG

1. Because the amount she put on vegetables n didn't think it was bad

2. Because the calories of the sauce was 1050

It's funny what some people believe is okay food wise though, my MIL is convinced that going to McDonalds and getting a wrap and chips is healthy because its better then having a burger meal... I've told her that actually wraps are no better then burgers and that wraps are just as bad as bread, but she doesn't believe it.
 
I was in asda once & lady who goes to my group was there n had pizza n crisps n chocolate etc in her trolley. Then at weigh in they were sat in group saying they didn't understand why they had gained n was adamant they had followed it & was telling consultant that the plan doesn't work blah blah blah

I chimed up with "pizza are not super speed or free, or crisps or chocolate" at the end of it she said oh bugger I didn't think anyone knew. I said to her why are you lying to us, and yourself

She said it was better than eating what she used to eat. I just said clearly its not.......gawd I'm such a ***** lol

Lol. No secret Hun. I've been a right hippo the last few weeks and Monday decided to finish off my slim fast shakes I had leftover in order for a boost before my holiday on Monday :)
Im rejoining SW though after my holiday so I'm looking forward to it xxxx

lol. I watched that for the first time and when the nutritionist was saying how much spaghetti you should have on your plate I was thinking no way, is that all?!? I always have loads lol xxx

Haha - You're braver then me, I wouldn't have dared but good on you. I hate when people don't follow the plan but then slag it off saying it doesn't work.

I say it as I see it, no-one could ever criticise me forgot being honest lol

I'd love to be a consultant but wonder if sometimes I could bite my tongue, I remember when I first joined someone saying that they start off really well in the week but then get bored by about Thursday and go back to how they eat normally, but when the consultant asked what she ate normally... her response was ''well not too different from the plan, I don't really eat fatty foods'' it just didn't make sense if she always ate like she was on slimming world how does she get bored of slimming world and start eating normally again?

1 week of using the hypnosis n ive lost 4lbs :) back down to 10 9 :)
