Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

I know that's what I think when people say stuff at group when I go. It's like well if you usually eat like that then you wouldn't be needing slimming world.
I know I have bad eating habits n I sometimes have little slips but I don't pretend that I've stuck to it lol
 
Thats one of the reasons I love group. We have this woman who genuinely said this one week just before christmas "I dont understand why I have gained 2lbs I cut down to two tubs of roses this week instead of eating one a day"!!!! She is amazing bless her I think she only comes to group for a night out. She has been going longer than me and has lost a total of 7lbs. :)
 
Brilliant loss Vicky.....how does the hypnosis work then/do you see someone.....does it curb your appetite?

I downloaded it from play store kim. I listen to it as im going to sleep. Ir has stopped me snacking and stupis cravings all the time. I am still following sw prinicipals with my meals etc but I was finding that I was snacking all the time and eating loads of naughty things on a night. This has ceetainlt stopped that :)
 
morning all - back on track with 30 day shred....tried to do 2 back to back but just couldnt. Have decided i am not a morning "shredder" - it really knocks me for six whereas when i do it after work i find it so much easier. Probably too soon after breakfast and coffee. Will aim to do it later on today as i want to get level 1 done and dusted and make up for not doing it the past 5 days - punishment lol

plus not sure about my scales - i stood on them today after my coffee and cereal wiht my jammies and hoodie on and i was the same weight as i was at weigh in on friday when i weighed in just my pants. Stood off then back on and they had gone up, which i would have expected in the first instance. Not sure they are accurate but definately going by how i look and feel - hopefully when i post my "after" shots we can see a difference.
on a side note, on the shred when she does squats with weights, i go right down so my bum is almost on the floor - i assume (hope) this is really good and that i shouldnt be only going half way? i know a few of you are doing the squat challenge so thought i would check x

Losing approximately 1lb a week which I'm happy enough with (more would be better! ) I'm aiming to get to 7stone 11lb but ideally I'd prefer to be 7stone 7lbs - not sure at this stage how easy it's going to be. I've been eating at least 5 super speed foods per day, using most of my syns and exersizing 4 times a week. It's not a definite conclusion yet but I'm noticing I tend to lose a wee bit more with a flexi syn day - mostly alcohol. Has anybody else found this to work better? xx
 
Sorry, should have said - starting weight was 8stone 11lb and as of 2 weeks on wed coming (Ill last week) 8stone 3lb. Hoping I've lost another couple by Wednesday! Xx
 
Oo kim that senna sorted my toilet issues. Feel loads better now. Gonna go to docs tomorrow and see if they can give me something different tho cos im constantly sleepy. On friday I had a 6 hour nap. Right in the middle of the day! Yesterday at my mils I couldnt keep my eyes open and ending up napping on the sofa n u really hate falling asleep in front of people lol x
 
Anyone have any idea how many syns there would be in frankie & bennys chicken penne Romano?
It's basically penne pasta with chicken breast, pepperoni, pancetta in a Neapolitan sauce & rocket on top

I thought 7 syns but what does everyone else think?

I had a look on the internet & checked with my DH that I was doing them correctly before I started, but you must be quite flexible if your bum is is nearly on the floor lol!

Hello & welcome. Yes, I've found I sometimes have a good loss if I've had a drink & think it its to do with tricking your body with an increase in calories.....thats my excuse & Im sticking to it lol!

Senna wont make you sleepy Vicky! Its probably more to do with having surgery as it can knock your body for six.

Pepperoni & the pancetta will be quite high in fat & then possibly the oil they used, so I might be tempted to say a few more!
 
Yeah I wasn't sure of how many syns. There was very little pancetta in the dish & I left most of the pepperoni. There was no grease in the sauce so don't think there was much oil

I'm glad I didn't have any garlic bread that OH ordered. I let him have it all to himself.

I'll just not have any syns for rest of day to make sure

The people on it wind me up as I just think ahhh you honestly can't think you don't eat that much, then the advice annoys me.... a portion of spaghetti should be the size of your fist..... get lost my portions of pasta are 4 times that lol[/QUOTE]

Im doing the squat challenge i did 70 today but not sure i was doing it right as cant feel anything working in my bum but more tops of thigh muscles are slightly tender i was sure i was doing it right but maybe I'm not, i watched vids on youtube and everything lol i know you have to stick your bum out and make sure your knees don't do over your toes?

Yeah mine too, my boyfriend keeps joking that he's giving me a portion that size next time he cooks (luckily its always me that cooks pasta haha



well today is a bit hit and miss, race went really well, not sure on my time as I missed it so waiting for official results, I really enjoyed it though... was very windy and got very hot at one point but it was enjoyable, heard one of the organisers say that the wind would have added at least a couple of minutes onto all our times and I'm not surprised, there were moments when I was giving my all but because the wind was against me I was in slow motion lol.

I have gone over my syns though :( mum offered me a snickers flapjack and I though yeah that still leaves me 7 syns to play with at the end of the day, then we decided to have a drink after and I went for a mocha (no idea on syns) I then had two chocolate biscuits at my mums as well.... :( so no more syns for me today. Can't decide whether to try and have 5 tomorrow to make up for it or just ignore it and start as normal tomorrow
