Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

That's great that ur very active! I couldn't run the length of my arm never mind two races a week!!
And that horrible weather wouldn't help when trying to run alone so hopefully if u get the treadmill it works for u :)

Finished it on Wednesday. It was just a really cleaner vision of slimming world only no diary or grains etc i enjoyed it :)

I'm hoping next week we have better weather as we're planning a BBQ :/ but that's very much wishful thinking

Are you back on sw now then

I had a bite of chicken and brocolli lasagne today at work :( AGHHH I could cry!!! Hoping the syns won't be too bad as it was only a bite and I made sure I didn't get any of the cheese from the top.

Also most of u girls do dvds dont you? I want something new to try :)

Les mills combat DVD is really fun Vic don't think you can buy it in the UK yet though I ahem *acquired* it.

Jillian Michaels body revolution is another great one. Not done that in aaaages though.

What do you recommend for starting out on yoga? I am super impressed with your bendy skills lol I am not very flexible nowadays and would like to change that! Xx

oo i will look at acquiring it Laura, I have done the les mills combat at the gym and really enjoyed it but they are near the end of a routine so gonna wait until they start a new one to start with it.

I started with videos on youtube. Jillian Michaels does one called yoga meltdown which I am acquiring as we speak! I do love been bending and I think it helps with the other exercise as I can move better and recover better! I am doing a challenge at the moment on picture site which I dont think we are allowed to mention, I had a message saying one of my posts had been removed due to talk of it so Im guessing its that one. So I have been doing a yoga pose a day for that. Its really good. I might do some yoga later actually, might have to shut milly in another room though!

Just booked in to have my hair cut next week, wanted it doing before my party. My hair hasn't been cut in such a long time, I hope they don't have to take too much off. Considering getting it highlighted as well but that would have to be in a few months as they can't fit me in for that next week, which is probably good as I can't decide exactly what I want... maybe a reddish colour or just lighter brown....

I'm nervous now though as I hate the hairdressers (part of the reason my hair hasn't been cut in so long) I have really bad eczema on my scalp and I've had a hairdresser send me out saying I had lice eggs before, but when I was checked it turned out it wasn't that it was my eczema... but I get paranoid about it now whenever I go to a hairdressers, it was an awful experience. :(

Hopefully they'll be nice there and I can talk to them about the highlights as well and see what they think about it, because that's another thing with my wonderful skin, I used to dye my hair at home but I had an allergic reaction once... so they may suggest not highlighting anyway.

Can anyone remember when we all took our measurements? Trying to find them on here but cant x

Did you take them when I took mine, I took mine at the end of March (around the 27th)

I'm going to do my measurements this time around. How long after bubs is born do you think I should do?

I've just made a grid on word which is my 4st countdown to 9st 5lb, each box is a pound and obviously I know i'll be able to cross a fair few off pretty soon but it will keep me focussed to keep at it when the going gets tough.

Would love to get down to 119lb but time frame will depend on how much I lose through baby and water. I'm hoping to get down to 9st 5lb first and looking through my previous SW book I started SW Mid- July 2010 and by early November 2010 I had lost 2st so hoping for a similar pattern this time.

Saw your impressive bendy pics Vic looks fab! Any particular channels on YouTube? Have tried some basic stuff but wanting to attempt some fun bendy stuff but no idea how to go about it.

How rude of them Donna! That's awful. My mum has psoriasis and that flares up really badly with hair dye too. I ask her if its worth all the pain and itchiness for vanity but she hates her grey hair coming through lol! Maybe try henna its far more natural so less side effects with skin conditions. Lush sell amazing stuff its pretty messy you need to melt it and leave it on for ages but it gives amazing colour and leaves hair in fabulous shiny condition! X

I know, it was awful. But really do need to get over my fear of hairdressers as fed up of having horrible hair.

I'm allergic to Henna (I know crazy!!!!) I had a Henna Tattoo once when I was younger and for weeks after I still had the outline of it but in a horrible bumpy red rash. I think I'd be fine with highlights as my boyfriend used to always dye my hair and it wasn't until we used one which we both said had quite a strong smell that I had the reaction, boyfriend thinks its probably ammonia I'm allergic too so as long as they know what they're using I should be okay... but might hold off until I start going grey until I dye my hair... I just think its such a dull brown I want to just add something to it.

Nikki you might as well take measurements straight away... well when you feel up to it anyway, your only going to be getting smaller from that point onwards.... in fact it would be interesting to take measurements now and then as soon after baby is born and you feel like it as well... you'd see how much of your swelling is water then as well.

Just try not to get too hung up over measurements as last thing you need with a new baby is to be stressing about your size

Apparently the majority of those henna tattoo stands actually just use watered down black hair dye as its much cheaper lol! Remember seeing a horrific picture in a magazine years ago where a kid had this really badly drawn Bart Simpson image burned into his arm as the hair dye was too strong and he had a bad reaction to it :-/

There's loads of dyes nowadays that are ammonia free especially darker ones (as blondes needs more bleach in it obviously) some of them even smell fruity and nice rather than that horrible ammonia smell :) can't remember what brands though but the boxes will tell you :)

Oh and quick update despite my mega binge on Sunday while organising friends hen night (we seem to have settled on cocktail class, chocolate making class, dinner/drinks/dancing as everyone's pretty poor!) I reigned it in during the week food wise and exercised and was rewarded with 1.5lb loss :-D yay!

Well done on the loss Laura. After talking about yoga I have just done the Jillian Michaels one, its actually good, still fast paced to burn fat but does some good deep stretches. Try looking into that one. You need to start basic and work your way up or you might injure your self.

Donna its a shame you dont live closer as im a hairdresser and specialize in nervous people lol. my sister will only let me cut her hair! I had a bad experience when I was training and was treated very badly by the senior hairdressers so Im very careful now and normally dont take enough off for people lol.

Ill have a look and see if I can find my measurements :) Ive found the pics we all uploaded so may do another pic x

Thats a brilliant shrinkage Vicky.....you're going to be some hot chick in your wedding dress, you must be so pleased! Hows the weight loss going?

Well done on the 1.5lb loss Laura, you must be nearly at target!

Deb, bin those scales! I bought some Salter ones that weigh in 2oz increments & were quite reasonably priced. Hope you have a fab weekend away.

Im sure the hairdressers would be able to advice you about highlights as there must be some products out there for people with skin conditions

Im not weighing til tomorrow morning as just up from a night shift bu I bet it will be a gain after last weekend, but not concerned as thats just the way it will be from now on. As long as its only 3lbs either way I'll be happy

Ahhh I didn't know that, makes sense with me being allergic to hair dye as well.

well done on the loss and hen night sounds good, my friends hen night last year was in a hotel and we had Chinese and a cocktail making lesson and just spent the evening in a massive hotel suite. Was a great night, I'm sure you'll have a fab time at your friends.

Ahhh that is a shame, I'm hoping these ones will be okay... they're just down the road. My sister thinks I'll be fine I did find a hairdressers I liked since then but its a bit of a way to travel now and I have been to the odd other and never had the same experience, its just something that sticks with me so get really worried everytime I see a new one.

Yeah I'll speak to them about it, bit gutted I can't get them done before my Birthday but I should have plucked up the courage to ring a hairdressers before now so its completely my own fault.

Good luck for WI in the morning, I'm sure it won't be a 3lb gain... hopefully you'll manage a maintain or even a loss
