Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

day two of challenge done!! still not sure why my shoulders hurt doing squats?
is it 60 squats and 30 crunch tom ladies?

I've really been suffering today with stomach pains and needing to go to the toilet a lot, was like it a little yesterday as well but a lot worse today... I don't feel ill though... I'm just hoping it isn't the soya milk not agreeing with me as I had a small glass on Sunday and then 300mls both yesterday and today as a healthy extra... what do you think?

Trying to just up my vitamin D intake, but then I've also thought it may help with my skin problems (rashes and eczema) so hope it isn't that :/ but I suppose if it is then at least I'm on the tablets for my vit D, my skin will just have to suffer

Is there more vit d in soya than cows milk then? Just be careful you're not taking more than the RDA unless your GP has recommended

Yeah, don't know why but it is.

Can that be dangerous then, I didn't realise you could go over with it :/ agghhhh life is so complicated lol.

There are RDA's on all vitamins/ supplements etc but im sure your GP would know that youll be getting it in your foods etc so I'm sure you'll be fine as it wont be that much over & you're on the low side so no panico! It just might be the change in milk thats causing the jippy tummy. If it happens again after the soya milk I would give it a miss
 
Not decided on food plan yet for tomorrow, but if I have milk I think I'll go for skimmed, then if my stomach is better then I'll have a go at the soya again then if I have the same problem I'll know to avoid it in future. Thanks Kim

the only difference i can see is i put my arms out in front of me? will amend today x
 
Not decided on food plan yet for tomorrow, but if I have milk I think I'll go for skimmed, then if my stomach is better then I'll have a go at the soya again then if I have the same problem I'll know to avoid it in future. Thanks Kim

morning ladies!! felt myself having a "sod it" attitude last night and had two packs crisp and biscuit. been feeling bit rubbish about it but not completely beating myself up if you know what i mean? so decided to scale hop as i knew the result would help me stay focused, esp with weekend away comin up...8st 7.75 not official wi til tomorrow but excellent to see the scale go down, even if its not the case tomorrow i will feel like it can be done.
i ate awful on Saturday, so much so that i took slim a tea to ease the boating. i haven't did exercise but do you think some folk generally don't lose weight when exercising?
just thinking back and the month i did exercise i didn't see movement really on scale? just thinking that it will be good to hold onto that fact when i start exercise again x
 
well ladies, I feel great this morning, tempted to have the soya milk again just as I've really been enjoying it.... but I think I should try the test of coming off it and back on it... although my boyfriend seems to think if it is the soya milk that made me react like that, that maybe my body will get used to it, which could be the case to be fair.. maybe rather then it being that it doesn't agree with my body its more that my body just wasn't used to it... or I could have just had a dodgy tummy. Gutted though as it meant I didn't run as well in my race. Ahhh well have a 10k next Wednesday to make up for that ;)


But my bloated feeling has gone now and my stomach has really gone down (at least I think it has) in fact I meant to just measure my stomach again but I've eaten breakfast now, might do it when I get little one dressed or after dropping him off, don't expect to see a difference but just with me feeling slimmer it might be interesting to see.


You seem to have a good attitude at the moment Deb, I wouldn't worry about the scales once you start exercising again... well as long as they're not going up, as your very light at 8 stone something so exercise might stop weight loss for a while, but it should start again and even if it doesn't you'll be looking nicer then what you would without the exercise

37 weeks here and have my midwife appointment in a hour. As you can see from my sig another massive weight gain this week but I think I am a bit swollen, my rings wont budge, my watch which used to spin around my wrist is stuck fast and even leaves indents and my face looks a little puffy. Going to mention it to midwife today because she always asks if I have any swelling. Looking in the mirror whilst naked and dont think I look too bad. The legs are chubby but I know thats the one place I can lose instantly from and also the arms but I can work on those :)

I'm all set at home and hospital bag is packed. Just waiting for the big day now. I am dreading the thought of going overdue because that is like another 5 weeks so just in case I do go over i'm going to start on the diet tomorrow, plenty of water, cutting out sweets/crisps/choccie and bread.

Yeah def mention the swelling, could just be the heat though, I swelled all over the summer months when I was pregnant. Hopefully you won't go overdue, by this point I'd had my little one.... exciting really she could be here any day now!

Just think though 5 weeks isn't that long, amazing to think that in 5 weeks she will definitely be here (although hopefully a few weeks old lol)
 
Midwife wasnt worried about the swelling especially because of the heat this weekend. BP was perfect and nothing in urine so all good.

Bit surprised that she hasnt mentioned anything to me about birth etc and just booked me in for my next appointment at 39 weeks! Im hoping she makes an appearance before then though!

I tend to cross my arms across my chest as find its easier on my back......try that it may help x

Ooh, fingers crossed for tomorrow then.
I really think that you should continue with exercise & just take the scales with a pinch of salt! If you cant measure yourself properly, try on an item of clothing that is a bit snug now & see how you feel in it in a few weeks, as clothes are the best indicator x

Most of your weight will be bubba & fluid, so when she pops out into the work you will be stones lighter! x
