Anyone tried or is doing shake that weight vlcd?

Well done Jax, it all adds up! And you will be losing inches. I don't feel like I've done very well this week,have to wait and see. When I make my shakes I use approx 250mls of water and add some ice then zap it in the blender, if I put 150 mls and a lot of ice I can make sloppy ice cream!
 
Thanks for the pep talk girls. I know my shape has changed.

I've got to remember that everything is worth it in the end. And cheaters never prosper for very long.

My commitment is to stay focused loose weight and become healthier. :)

Jax, i bet that woman would put weight on next week, sometimes it can catch up with you the week after, you watch and see? I know what you mean, i was the same last week, all that for only 1.25lb!!!!:mad:

Pink, do you freeze it? would really be ice cream then lol:D good luck for tomorrow.
 
I've slapped my face with a wet cloth (as no food products allowed). You are all right next week I need to loose 1lb to get into the 15s yay! :)
 
Yes be positive, how much would you have lost if on an ordinary diet? if it was me, as i usually lose very little, 6lb if i was very lucky lol :)

Good for you, you will lose that and tons more next week, and leave me in the dust, as i am adding chicken and salad next week as have 3 weeks till i go away eek:eek:
 
My Italian friend has just phoned me from Corfu. Asking how I was as we havnt spoken for few weeks. It was lovely to speak to her and making plans for our time together when we go out. Got all the gossip too:) she was quite surprised when I said I couldn't wait to go out on the horses this year. Considering last year I would go out to the stables never mind ride!

So every cloud has its silver lining and it's made me more adamant not to give up.

Are you frightened to eat Jeanette? I am if the truth be told. But will stick to lean protein meats and green stuff and still be active x
 
Jeanette why are you moving onto a protein meal next week? Do you need that long to come of the shakes? I was hoping to try and keep on shakes until I go away in 5 weeks,would I need to start eating a meal earlier.
Jaz I'm glad you realised how well you have done!:p We will all have weeks when we don't do very well,but we are more active ,therefore healthier.

Jax, you must be feeling more positive now that you have talked to your friend in Corfu? glad you are feeling better :) I am a bit apprehensive, but on the other hand looking forward to it, looking forward to crunching the salad more than anything, isn't that weird? wasn't that fussed before:)

Pink, if you did the diet until you went away, then just ate normally you would put a lot of weight back on, you need to slowly add food, i am adding chicken and veg/salad everyday for evening meal week one, and week two,adding a green salad for lunch and milk in my tea, also 2 or 3 small boiled potatoes and one less shake, week 3, one less shake again, and a slice of wholemeal bread also either yogurt or cereal for breakfast with a glass of juice and some sort of protein for lunch with salad,
so i will be off everything by the time i go away, and have about 1200 calories a day approx. hope you understand that, i know its awkward lol
 
Pink Jeanette was planning to start introducing food into her plan before she goes away so she can still monitor her weight loss. Then to go back on shakes etc when she comes back home. She has a little holiday of 5 days before she goes for her 2 week holiday at the end of July.

I am doing the same. I go away for a month so 2 weeks before I go I am planning to do the same. It is a good idea to do this as when you go on your hols you are going to need to know how to eat again without gaining to much weight.

Ha ha it's a web we weave and lull them into a false sense of security the pounce on the to pinch their shakes :) :)
 
Right think that's my excitement over for today. Off to see my best mate tomorrow for a few hours over in Newcastle.

We haven't had a day together for ages and his boyfriend will probably want to tell me all about his new acting part. So if I have my first shake bout 8 then next one bout 1ish I can eek out coming home for Clyde before my tea time one. Hopefully x
 
Thanks that's really interesting. I go away in 5weeks for nearly 6 weeks. I will do 2more weeks and then start following Jeanette's plan. Then hopefully keep to a low calorie diet while away, then go on shakes when I'm back. Sounds like a god plan!
 
I was thinking of making a crust-less quiche for the airplane for breakfast as we are going early. and taking some crackerbread to go with it. then trying to have a treat every other day or so, and to KEEP OFF the bread and carbs, especially bread as its my downfall lol:D so if i have a salad for lunch and water with my meals, just keeping wine for the evening.
 
Tom has just phoned to say he will be home the end of July now not June. So hopefully there will be even less of me then. Bit sad that he won't be home next week. But on the upside no cooking x
