Anyone tried or is doing shake that weight vlcd?

Agree with you Jax about heels, thought it was only me who couldn't wear heals lol :D Can't wear trainers, they don't feel comfortable on my feet, told you i had funny feet lol.

Of your shakes. It's a rocky slope unless you decide to do 2 shakes and a meal.

Part of feeling cold is the ketosis also. As I didn't have a bath last night (showered today) am going to have a lovely long bubbly soak.

I've been invited to my best mates (Anthony's) house on Friday for a chin wag. Needless to say he will want a pint or 2 but he knows I dnt drink so I can get away with diet coke. Then a in law family get together on Saturday night at the club as nephew is up for Bon jovi concert tomorrow. But I have declined with Tom being away. Not sure how or if I will get away with it!
 
Cooked for oh and daughter and now having a shake. I need to buy some trainers for walking, I have a few pairs but they seem too high at the back and give me blisters after a short walk! I tend to wear flat shoes or flip flops, these don't have much support and are uncomfortable if i walk very far. I don't want to waste too much money on them as they often feel comfortable then hurt after a day or two!
 
Forgot about that, being cold if you are ketosis, oh well i'll look on the bright side lol.

Have a good night at your friends, i think you are doing the right thing re family night out, hope you can get away with it lol.

Pink, i usually wear either loafer type shoes, boring i know but comfortable. or wedge type sandals, with a thicker sole if possible, as it gives you more comfort to walk in, oh and insoles as well. sounding really old now :(

I can't even try any on for a couple of days my feet are so sore! Will prob wait until week end to have a look. Weather here has been ghastly, cold and rained most of day, no sun :( we have got a nice week end coming up, my eldest daughter taking my youngest daughter for week end. Would usually go out for a meal and a drink! Would still like to go out but maybe have chicken and salad, I know you can't drink so will have to be sparkling water or diet coke. Is diet coke ok? Was told by friend to have coke zero as doesn't contain citric acid?
 
I always get my feet measured for my trainers. I by them mostly from specialist sport shops because I used to be so active it paid to get the right trainers. So even if you feel embarrassed pink try to get your feet measured as not all trainers are suitable.

My old runners what I'm using for walking in where over a hundred pounds. I know it seems a lot but they are comfortable and fit my feet perfectly. I'm not saying to spend that much but go and get your feet sorted as you will find that you may need more support for your arches.

Just shakes for me today no bar. And no hunger grumbles x

I'm back !

Shakes got delivered yesterday, but had a family meal to attend, so my first day was today!! :)
I'm doing the 3 shakes a day but today I found it hard to finish the shakes :( managed about 2 litres of water.

i had the banana one about 10am, strawberry one about 2pm and I had a chocolate one about 8 tonight. I didn't finish any of them. Does anyone else have this problem?

Ive now got a very sore head just now. i was struggling while cooking my oh and sons dinner lol! Think that will be the hardest. The hungers not bad but the headaches & not eating is going to be horrible.

Regarding the headache, i had one the first day or so, i took some paracetamol and was fine the next day. I find it hard to drink more than 2 ltrs of water as well :(, Jax drinks a lot more, up to 4 ltrs, wish i was more like her lol :)

re finishing the shakes, never have trouble finishing my food, shakes or meals lol :D i quite like the flavours, i have strawberry, banana and vanilla, don't mind the vanilla but prefer the others, so won't order vanilla next time.

glad you have your shakes, I find that I just about manage the shakes but they are filling! I never really got headaches, but I did try and drink lots of water. I now decant to smaller bottles and try and drink 8 a day. This has been a good way for me to drink the water. I ordered all flavours and don't really mind any of them my favourites are banana and strawberry, chocolate is ok and the vanilla I drink plain or add a spoon of coffee and that is delicious.

Hopefully headache will be gone by tomorrow Jeanette, wish i could drink 4 litres, think i'll aim for 3 litres tomorrow :)
I really struggled to finish the shakes, not because I was full just because I found that they weren't very tasty! But I'm going to stick with this diet, seeing everyone's great results is really reassuring.

Im also using smaller 500ml bottles which is much better to drink from, much easier to manage. The banana and strawberry were the best I agree pink! The chocolate smelled nice but was bland. Great idea with the coffee. Do you use hot water While doing the vanilla/coffee combo?

How many week in are you's all ? And how much weight have you's lost in that time? Would be great to hear.

I have had the chocolate hot and that's not too bad. Vanilla with coffee is nice cold as a mocha or hot, just need to make sure that its well mixed.
Friday will be my second weigh in, I lost 9lb my first week. I think we are all early on with this diet. How much weight do you want to lose? I bought 6 weeks of shakes so hoping for a good weight lose in that time.:D
 
The chocolate hot sounds a better alternative. It reminded me of hot chocolate as I was making it tonight, so might try that tomorrow :) For lunch I will try cold vanilla/coffe shake.

9lbs is great! Well done you, that must make you feel so much better once the first week is out the way!

I think I'm about 14st 4 just now, I read somewhere that I'm meant to be 9 stone 5. So hopefully 4/5 stone. How much weight are you hoping to lose? I will be happy if I'm under the 14 stone mark by this time next week :)

I started at 16st 4lb and want too be about 11st, if I ever reach that I will reconsider. So I need to lose approx 5/6 st.seems like an awful lot. I go away in 5 weeks so will lose as much as I can till then, not sure about when away as its for 5 weeks.like to keep going but I think will be very hard!

early start for me,just taken car for mot and service . Then walked 2mIles back from garage. Feel worn out before day has even begun. Going to make my shake now and have a sit down.

Week 4 weigh in at 11 today. I've lost 1st 2 1/2lb so far.

As Jeanette said I don't have problem with water just a habit now. I find I like the vanilla last as its a bit thicker. Do you all use 200mls water? I'm with you Jeanette I dnt have any problem slurping the lot down and have even licked the lid of my shaker many times! :)

Well I'm off for a shower and change then take Clyde round the park before I go out.

It doesn't always let me update when out so I will let you know ASAP.

Morning everyone. hope you do well today Jax, can't wait lol.

I use just over 250 mls in my shakes, still nice and lasts longer lol. i only have the strawberry, banana and vanilla, as not fussed on chocolate in anything really.

I have lost so far in 3 weeks, 14.5 lb. 9lb the first week, 4.25lb the second and only 1.25 the third, as i was retaining water. weigh in day is Sunday. (but as Jax will tell you i can't stay off the scales lol)
 
Well ladies I lost only 2lb today. I am a bit disappointed but I think it was changing to bars and shakes. So I'm going to stay on shakes only.

The lady who weighs me was very nice and said that she can notice a big difference in my shape so that made me a bit happier.

Off to have my lunch. Which flavour ... Strawberry came out of the cupboard!
 
Hi Jax, still good, remember i only lost 1.25 last week, as i was a bit bloated? well so far this week i have lost 3.5lb so might be that, not the bars? probably more off than normal next week

I suppose we can't lose 4lb every week, though it would be nice lol:D
 
I know Jeanette I'm just being bit silly. Just feel that I give this 110% effort everyday and felt bit flat. Especially when woman at the group had cheated drank and ate loads and lost weight. And there's me not doing any of it :(

Never mind it's 2lb of fat that's gone. :)
