Ava, I did LT a couple ofyears ago, lost 2 stone ish in 7 weeks, didn't refeed and piled it all back on plus more, determined never to do that again, so before I started CD I just ate healthy for a while and lost 6lbs, I am going to carry on with healthy eating once I'm maintaining. It has helped me so much by retraining my brain about the sort of foods I want to put in my body. I never fall off the wagon, I always stick to low carb low fat low sugar and manage to carry on with my program. I go out for dinner with my OH a lot and I also socialise, I never worry about it I make good choices and it works!!! I'm still here going strong, week 12 WI on Monday and my consultant has asked me to train as a consultant so here I am filling in all the paperwork.
Ava, you have got so much support on here make sure you utilise it whenever it gets tough for you, you need to recognise your triggers and deviate away from them. Ask your friends and family to support you, write an extensive diary, if you have had a good day, write about it and why. Give yourself credit each day when you get through it 100% its a massive achievement. Day two woohoo you've DONE it ava, u will never do day 2 ever again. Rejoice and embrace LT for what it can do for you. X
