He gave me a hug and said things will pick up and be ok but doesn't seem to realize that half my bloody wage is spent on him. He just doesn't realize how little I have compared to him. I'm just gonna stop offering to pay even though that's really hard for me to do (I always offer in every situation with family and friends aswell as even though I'm broke some of them are worse off).
Tracy, I should defo call his bluff I think. Maybe I am trying to buy his affection... I never realized that before...

Sarah I am actually fuming after reading that.. What a d1ck!!! I can't believe anyone can be so selfish.. I went out with a lad a few years back (lotza years back) and one night we were out having drinks with a gang of his friends.. He just kept sending drinks down to me (girls say one end, boys sat the other) even when i'd hav a full drink, coz he needed one so got me one.. So it meant there was never a chance for me to buy a drink back.. I was getting really annoyed so next time I saw him call the lounge girl over I went after her and paid her for the drinks.. I HAD to pay for at least 1 drink.. Couldn't sit there being paid for all night.. The night ended in him getting the hump with me for buying that round.. Said I "made a show of him in front of his mates" by paying for that 1 round.. I was like get a freakin grip!! He was highly insulted that I'd insisted on paying for that round.. Thats the way "men" are.. Then you have boys who are in it for what they can get!! Like Kevin (my other ex) We'd only go to dinner/cimena/drinks when i paid.. He'd always ask me out, but when it came to it he'd mysteriously lose his bank card, leave his wallet in work, forget his wallet... U name the excuse he used it!!!
Even used it once when we went on hols.. he had NO spending money with him, so guess who had to pick up the tab!!! Yep.. Yours truly!! Still didn't learn he was a waster for another couple of years mind... Yet another trait he and Sean have in common eh?!

I hate seeing the upset he's causing you and that's he's doing it in such a devious way its not obvious to you.. You know you can do better.. Its whether you want to or not is the question... Sending massive hugs...

He doesn't sponge off me or anything and he does pay for things, he paid for dinner the other night. But he expects me to thank him everytime he pays for something which is irritating and a bit awkward sometimes when I just wanna eat some dinner and not feel like I owe him something. But he just doesn't "get" that I can't afford things the same way he can. He can be highly generous in big gestures that everyone can see (so they think I'm a kept woman probably) but when it comes to day to day expenses I'm the one who's expected to do that... And no one thinks I'm generous ya know? Its just getting to me as I see my bank balance dwindling away while his is fine and he's even had another raise at work ya know? He used to go on about how scabby his ex was and I used to think "what a b!tch" but now I'm wondering if she really was... He seems to expect a lot of me and even though he _says_ he doesn't.

Sarah just stop paying for things, if you do ask for his half of the money! Youngfellas don't GET hints, they don't think the way we do, you could be seething and he could be thinking 'she wants to pay'. You NEED to be direct, straight and blunt with him or give him up x

Oh Sarah you are far too generous and nice for your own good. Don't bring your purse to work bring in your lunch then this way you can't offer to buy him his as you have no money on you. On nights out make him buy his rounds...and if he doesn't want to go out Cos u won't pay for them nights then its his loss. Dont let him walk all over you. I know its hard because u love him but he knows you do and that is why he keeps doing it. Big hugs xxx

Oh my god brilliant idea. I have my lunch so don't need my purse really unless I gotta put fuel in the car!

I had a chat with (shout at) him at lunch time... Think its sorted now pretty much. I just told him how ridiculous the situation is with him earning so much more and he agreed. So we'll see I suppose hmm?

WW related I'm doing okayish this week but still feeling heavy? Due my totm but feel like I NEED a loss this week or I'll go mad x

Yellow thai curry for dinner tonight. Didn't realize a whole can of blue dragon light coconut milk is only 8pp. The amoy one is 13pp! Blue dragon from now on can't wait to eeeeat my curry. Might have a couple chips with it too x

I've had a better day today, I was a bit devastated over the STS but I know why. I just didn't eat enough last week. I was the same today tho no appetite I was busy working after I dropped the kids off its end of year tax returns so I was busy doing the accounts and I realised at 1.30 I hadn't eaten stupid I know but im jus not hungry at all so I went out for a drive and stopped at McDonald's and got the most calorific burger they do. It then filled me up till about 10 tonight I was still busy working and Ralph decided to get a Chinese and I had a small bowl of chow mien which was nice I'm now sat with a bottle of prosecco, still haven't finished my work but I'm actually really chilled out. Must be the wine and the food.

Ralph's working tomorrow morning, I think my friends coming over with her new baby to keep me company I don't have the heart to text her and tell her I need to work ill have to finish it tomorrow afternoon. We've got friends coming round for a curry but I'm not gonna have it, I'll have a WW curry from the freezer, takeaway curry makes me Ill.

I'm gonna go and get my gym membership on Sunday and maybe have a sesh!

I'm really glad to hear you feel a bit brighter today. Are chinchillas good pets, does it get on with your dog? Have fun bridesmaid dress shopping, will you get a say what style, colour etc?

Ooooh I love me a maccy d's burger once in a while! I get like that at work sometimes too... Forgetting to eat but I usually go bad eating later on oops lol!
I had a homemade thai curry for dinner - it was fab. Just lying up in me bed watching twin peaks on netflix... Pretty chilled out myself. My poor OH only went home from work few minutes ago, honestly I think he's obsessed with work!

Chinchillas are lovely yes. The softest fur you'll ever touch, almost feels like you aren't touching anything, weird. He doesn't particularly like the dog but that's because she's too excitable. An old friendly dog would be perfect. My chinchilla is like a grumpy old man though lol - sometimes he'll turn and face the wall as if to say "leave me alone" haha!

I'm sure I'll have some say in it... Maybe. Definitely not strapless as it looks awful with my broad shoulders and big arms! I'd love to join a gym, can't afford it at the mo though so will have to make myself go outside instead

Aw your chinchilla sounds lovely bless.

Believe me I'd rather have your motivation to go running, and save money but I just wouldn't do it Ill always find an excuse not to go like unloading the dishwasher or watching corrie, yet knowing I've paid for the gym ensures I go. I love swimming to I normally do an hour in the gym then 30-40 minutes swimming. I get a corporate membership so I don't pay monthly that includes a car park pass which will save me about £80.00 a year coz my son has swimming lessons at the sports centre and his lessons cost a fortune and so does the parking.

I also found out my son doesn't have dyslexia today which is great news that's been looming over my head for the past 18 months. I feel awfully relieved about that I couldn't face the thought of him struggling later in life.
