Baby Charlie has arrived so lets get on with shedding the rest of this wobble!!!

Heyyyyyyyyyy Capricorn. :D

Sorry I've been so rubbish at 'stalking' lately. Im just so tired after work I couldnt be bothered typing- I have been reading your diary each day though. You're doing fab-u-lous lady!!! Wooo im getting positive vibs:vibes: from you through my keyboard as I type this. You have that effect!

Hope you have had a great day. xxx

Morning one and all....

Naughty ole me didn't pop in last night -well I did -I just didn't get around to updating on here *bad me*

Anyhow.... you will just have to listen to more waffle now won't you :sign0151:
So then -briefly, I finished yeterday on 11syns and did 1hr 42mins on the wii ....and my meals looked like this:-

I always had tuna in sunflower oil -but since starting SW I have it in water. Have you tried swallowing that stuff without anything in it..it just won't go down :patback:-it just sits there :p... so I decided to see what I could do to make it a little better. In the end I bashed it to death with 1 laughing cow light, chopped red onion, chopped red pepper, a squidge of balsamic and a squeeze of lemon juice -oooh and seasoning -It was really nice:D. I had it with 2 seedy ryvitas too ,,

now dinner was the meatballs I made last week -it was hot when I made it..... trust me, because it has stood in the freezer and developed it was seriously dangerous :8855:-I added a dollop of quark to cool it down..not that it made much difference :p. Anyway that was dinner -ooohh with my 42g low fat cheddar on top.

Hi NikNaks.... don't worry about not posting-I have been reading your diary too and have seen how hectic things are -you are doing really well, especially when face with so many events to go to, it must take nerves of steele ;)
Eternal..... well done on the walk... I know when I have had a decent walk as when I sit down my feet still feel like they are walking:8855:. The meatballs are lovely -just don't get caried away with the chillies in the sauce like I did

Well we are nipping out to one of the bigger NAAFI in a few minutes -heck knows what I will come out with :p... probably more meat knowing me... As long as I have plenty of meat in the freezer I feel safe :8855:
I will do my meal plan when I get back..... just incase it changes (depending on what I find whilst Im out ;))
Have a great morning everyone...and keep up the great work

Thanks Capricorn and good luck with the shop :). I did SW quiche yest on the REd day adn forgot just how yummy it was. As I was allowed, had some prawns too :), had half a HEA left so cheese went on top too. Just had to take a pic and show you, lol :

Yummy yummy x

Afternoon all

Eternal -your photo of the quiche isn't showing
I have never tried the SW quiche -mind I have never tried their chips either..

Well I got all sorts of "goodies" whilst I was out :D-including :-
  • Leg of lamb joint -whoopsed from €14.50 to €3.50
  • 2 packs of really nice English pork chops whoopsed from €3.25 to €1 a pack
  • some pork ribs (that I have syned before freezeing) -whoopsed from €6.20 to 75c -so i grabbed 2 packs
Then of course I spotted some cherries -so I grabbed 2 pots mmmmm, ooohh and big prawns with 50% free in there :D
I got quite a bit of other stuff too - but all good basic ingredients ...

So my meal plan today has turned out like this:-
  • 250ml semi skimmed (A)
  • 2 rashers bacon
  • 2 eggs -scrambled
  • mushrooms
  • tomatoes
  • melon
  • pineapple
  • cherries
  • pork chop
  • onions
  • 198g potato (B)
  • carrots
  • cauli
  • cabbage
I know lunch doesn't look much -just fruit, but I wasn't that hungry..but I will be ready for my dinner
Now I have stuck onions and dried sage and seasoning in the remoska -put a pork chop on top then sliced the potato onto the top -poured a mug of stock over, covered with foil and cooked and now I have the foil off so the top will hopefully crisp up ....
I love just potatoes n onions done this way -but not exactly RED day friendly (especially as I would normally make fresh bread to go with it :eek:guess who is a carb junky at heart?:D)-so this way I get the best of both worlds :bliss:
I still need to use another A+B if I can and some syns need to be eaten..so I will sort that out later ;)

OOooh and whilst we were out I picked up a pedometer -I really wanted to see how many steps I do around the golf course... so i will be keeping track of that...every little helps ehh!!
Right I had better get off and get the veg prepared for later-have a great evening..and as always "keep at it folks"

Hi there

I use Imageshack to upload my photos and then you pick out the pictures you want and choose "get codes for forum" -click on the codes and copy (ctrl+c)... then when i want to put them in my post I just paste (ctrl+V)...not sure if that makes sense...

woohooo -It worked :D

Hi there Capricorn - your tuna idea sounds divine - might have to try that!

I quite like it just with some vinegar and a dash of worcestershire sauce too, especially with chopped red onion and tomato mixed in.

Hi Capricorn!! Just popping in between concerts to say hi!!! Jon and the gang did us proud last night - now looking forward to GreenDay tomorrow and more Jovi next week!!!! Glad you're still doing amazingly well - keep it up girl!!! It's probably just as well if I don't discuss what I've eaten the past couple of days .............. :break_diet:

Catch you later!!!!

Just think of the cals you burnt off bopping away though :party0048::party0049:... I WILL get to see Bon Jovi 1 year..I WILL :D
My niece saw Green day (In Manchester I believe) a couple of days ago -she was 3 rows from the front-she had a blast... hope they are just as good for you!!!
Im sure you will get back into the SW swing once things aren't quite so hectic for you... aren't you in London for that interview soon?
Spanx -I just had to do something to make the tuna actually go down..in oil its fine but heck -in water it just wedges half way down :8855:. I do like it with lots of vinegar in -I love pickled things mmmmm I might throw in chopped "giant pickled slugs" (gherkins) next time mmmmmmmmm

Well folks -dinner was cracking  a seriously tasty platefull -proper comfort food

the pork n onions are hiding under the potato :p its amazing how much more 198g of potato looks once its thinly sliced . In the end I didn't do cabbage as I cooke some of the greenery from the cauli-I love that bit :D
I have clocked up 2hrs 17mins on the wii and used 0syns ..and still have an A+B left.. Im not really hungry, but I know I should have something to at least use my B up -so I might have an alpen light (can't wedge 2 in though)..hey ho -I will be as near as damn it ;)
Right Im off to finish catching up and then will veg on teh sofa reading the SW mag -whilst hubby chunters at the football
Have a great nigth everyone:D

Goooooood morning folks
Its a bit overcast here at the moment -the weather really can't make its mind up what it wants to do
SO-hubby has gone to his golf competition and Im going to sit and meal plan for next week and then get on with my x-stitch :D

My meal plan for today is:-
  • 250ml semi skimmed (A)x2
  • 28g porridge oats (B)
  • fresh raspberries
  • banana
  • big salad
  • cottage cheese
  • gherkins
  • beetroot
  • melon
  • cherries -nomnomnom
  • rolled steak
  • bacon+red wine sauce (2syns)
  • carrots
  • cauli
  • 198g steamed potato (B)
  • melon
  • pineapple
Now then Im "concocting" for dinner -Im going to stuff and roll the steaks with chopped onions, mushrooms (and whatever else comes to mind) and then make the sauce from the coq au vin and braise them in it .....mmmmmmmm

I had quite a revelation yesterday -I had picked up some 0.1% fat yogurts to try-so i used the online calculator and a 125g pot came out at 3 syns ..... so I asked mum for the info off a muller light (I can't stand them) it was the vanilla with choc sprinkle thing-anyway -when mum gave me the info I used the calculator and they came out at 3syns too .....so I was confuddled as they are listed as free  -I have contacted SW out of curiosity and they have asked for the nutritional information so they can check for me. I even tried selecting yogurt as the "free food allowance" -and got the same result....
So I have given them the information and Im waiting for a response. Not that it really matters to me as Im not eating the low fat ones...not because they are 3 syns -but because they are awful :8855:.
The yogurts I normally have are 8 syns :p-full fat ones they are.... now I have always loved them but when i had one the other day I found it was too sweet  -I can only guess that as I have had NO sweets, choc etc that I have lost the taste for sweet stuff. I only really eat fruit or SF jelly...so it looks like I will be going on to eating just LF natural yogurt

But it did make me wonder about people who rely on the mullers as they are "free".... not that Im trying to put anyone off -Im just curious.... I will let you know what info I get back from SW when i get it.

Another thing that suprised me was when I was shopping yesterday -I spotted some muller rice -reduced to clear... now I never much rated them but found myself thinking "hmmm well they might be allright for a change" :confused:so a 6 pack went in my basket... got home and checked them  10-10.5 syns each ...goood lord -Im glad they were only 67c for the 6 as they are going in the bin. I hate wasting food -but there is no way I am going to eat something that I won't really really enjoy -especially for THAT many syns

right Im sure that is more than enough waffle -have a great day everyone...:D-hope I haven't given anyone a headache

Just a quick one before I get off to the land of nod..

Dinner worked well (will add the pics in the morning, when my eyes are functioning properly :p)
I rubbed the steak with English mustard powder, salt and cracked black pepper. Then I cooked off some really finely chopped red onion and red pepper and used that as the stuffing and braised it in the sauce used for the coq au vin (from the world of flavours book)

I have only used 4 syns today -not good enough, but hey ho....nothing I can do about that now -is there

I managed to do 1hr 43mins on the wii and as I had my new pedometer on I know that I have only done 3700 steps.... not very good at all, but I guess combined with the wii its acceptable -guess I will have to start going up n down the stairs "just because" to knock the numbers up a bit :whacky068:. We are looking after someones dog again -for about a month..she arrived today -so I guess taking her for walks in an evening with hubby should help and then of course there are the trips to the golf course (will be interesting to see how many steps that is)
I think that is me about done -Im pooped... weigh day tomorrow for me -so pinkies crossed :cross: that they have something nice to say ;)
Have a good night sleep everyone :D

Gooooooooooooood morning, good morning, good morning

Reporting in with a 3lb loss this week :party0049:...I'm really happy with it as I have felt bloated the last couple of days -but I had told myself that I knew I had stuck to the plan again, so even if the scales didn't show it this week they would eventually ;) BUT they showed it today for me :p.
Hubby lost another 3lb this week :bananalove:-he is loving it...still gets to eat really nice food and most importantly -he doesn't have to give up his :7834:
and best of all he is starting to feel the difference -not just in his clothes, but in himself -not that he is THAT big.... I wish I weighed what he does :8855:
Anyway he has got off for his 2nd round of the golf competition -having eaten bacon, egg n beans (that will stop the sausage, bacon n egg baguettes calling him from the club house :sign0151:)

My next mini goals are to shift 3lb to get my 2.5st award and 3.5lb will mean the lbs I need to lose drop from tripple figures and into double figures :D. I reckon the next couple of weeks or so should see those 2 under my belt -:cross:

My meal plan for today is :-
  • 250ml semi skimmed (A)x2
  • 2 rashers bacon
  • 2 eggs -scrambled
  • fresh tomatoes -warmed through
  • melon
  • 2 seedy ryvitas (B)
  • 1 laughing cow light (1.5)
  • ham
  • gherkins
  • beetroot
  • cherries
  • melon
  • roast lamb mmmmmmmmmmm
  • 1/2 an 8" home made yorkshire pud (4.5)
  • 198g steamed potatoes (B)
  • carrots
  • cabbage
  • cauli
  • 2tsp chicken bisto (1)
  • mintsauce
  • cherries
  • melon
  • pineapple
So that will be 7syns used up ..... We won't be having dinner until late (whenever hubby gets home) -but because I have had a cooked brekkie a light lunch and fruit will tide me over ;)

oooh here are yesterdays pics:-
nommy nommy porridge

I bashed spring and red onions into the cottage cheese -I love that stuff :p

and the stuffed beef roll -it was really filling and another to add to the "must do again" list :D-oh and 1 with some sauce went in the freezer..so a nice easy lunch there for me 1 day;)

Right -Im sure that is more than enough waffle to be going on with for now.... have a lovely day everyone and keep at it folks.. we are getting there :D

Woohoo! Well done Capricorn! I'm sure you'll smash your mini targets too.

Your dinner looked lovely! I really must get some red days planned - I find it really difficult to wean myself off green days, the free pasta, rice and potatoes make it really easy to plan the day for me. I know, however, that throwing the odd red day in boosts my losses in the long term, so I will be looking at your inspiring food diaries for some ideas!

Good evening all

Well today has been a lovely one -hope you all had good weather too.

Spanx -I have never done green days -I was a carbohydrate junky, so I prefer to keep them in check ;)
Once I get into the swing I might have the occasional green day -but to be honest I find it easier to satisfy my hunger on red days :D...
Eternal -thanks :D-Im loving my red days :p
well here are todays meals:-
Lunch doesn't look particularly inspiring -but it was just what I fancied and really hit the spot

dinner mmmmmmmmmmmmm the yorkshire was stunning and the lamb is hiding on that and under my carrots. I realised in time that when I last had yorky pud and potatoes together I struggled to finish -so I left the potatoes off -which meant I had a healthy B left -so that was an alpen light mid afternoon and one about and hour ago ;)

I have managed to clock up 2hr 4 mins on the wii and3230 steps.
Hoping for good weather early tomorrow so i can walk around the golf course :cross: then we may stop off on the way home to get the wii racket ball games for me :p
ooohh and earlier I had a NSV -Non Scale Victory ..I measured myself for a new bra and  since I started 9 weeks ago I have lost 12" off my band size :banana dancer:please let it come off my middle next :8855:

right I had better get off and catch up with everything...sleep well all

I know what you mean Capricorn, I'm a bit of a carbs junkie myself! That's why I find green days so easy! I think I believe I'll be hungry on a red day, plus I don't generally eat a lot of meat, so I worry about what I'll fill up on, but I really need to give it a go.

I've had a couple of EE days this weekend (mainly so I could have the SW KFC with SW chips!!) and I have found that really easy, so I might see how I get on with that. As long as I can avoid bread (one of my worst downfalls!) I would be able to cope with one HEB quite easily, as I don't eat cereal either (can't stand milk and also 28g would make me feel like I was being cheated!)

Have a great day tomorrow and well done on the inch loss!

Hey Capricorn!!! Congrats on your NSV - that's a HUGE difference!!!

Green Day were amaaaaazing and I'm now officially in love with Billy Joe, the lead singer. :D

I'm actually going to work tomorrow, then it's off to see Bon Jovi again, followed by the dreaded interview on Thursday. The way my voice is going, I'm just hoping I'll still be able to speak on Thursday!!! I've been forced to sing along with Bon Jovi (I know more or less every word to every song - I only like them a little bit :8855:) and Green Day, not to mention showing my appreciation very vocally as well!!!

Slimming World is taking a back seat at the moment. I've tried not to be too naughty, and in fact I don't enjoy a lot of the things I used to - for example, my daughter gave me some of her chocolate muffin and I gave it back to her after one bite cos all I could taste was sugar! A bit like you with your yogurts really. I'll be back on the wagon once this week is over though.

Anyway, keep up the good work!!!

Love and hugs, Tracy xxx
