Baby Charlie has arrived so lets get on with shedding the rest of this wobble!!!

Gooooooooood evening all :D

Cor blimey folks I have only just got my PC back  -hubby took into work as it was running like a bag of doodoo .... then the guy came back with him and installed everything, so now its running better :D ... even if it meant dinner was late  .... anyhoo we have just eaten it and heck were we ready :p

Hiya wenchie -glad you like the thai salmon, its one of my faves.
Pinkies crossed for your weigh in tonight :cross: and hope you have a great week...

woohoo Ela ine :wavey:
I do love cooking -I always have and luckily hubby will eat most things.. although he does get some envious looks when he takes home made stuff in to warm up for his lunches :rotflmao:
I have done very little today ..I really need to get my lazy a** onto the wii .... hopefully (and I say that whilst gulping) my 30 day shred will be here soon, I would like to start it on Monday... hmmm perhaps :-
  • day 1 - take package out of padded envelope
  • day 2- take cellophane off -it can be very strenuous ya know
  • day 3 - open and insert into player ..
SO I think I will manage the 1st 3 days ok :rotflmao:
I think we should try and keep each other going with it.. I am sooooo unfit and find it completely knackering trying to get my feet to leave the floor -so I will need all the encouragement I can get :D

Right I will get off and catch up on everything.. have a good evening all...

Good Morning world :wavey:.... hope we are all well :vibes:

I got up this morning in a ridiculously :D mood .... perhaps its the sunshine that's doing it -who knows? but I will make the most of it....

Thanks Prawn :D -hope you are having a good week!!

Well I'm doing EE today and it should look like this:-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • melon
    [*]cottage pie (1)
    [*]steamed cabbage
  • melon
  • orange
  • hm burger
    [*]hm oven chips (1)
    [*]lettuce
    [*]cucumner
    [*]tomato
    [*]peppers
    [*]tickled beetroot
    [*]tickled cabbage
    [*]tickled onions
  • grapefruit
  • activia (2.5)
  • fibre plus (B)
  • 250ml semi (6)
So I make that 1A+B and 10.5 syns used up :D

Im in the middle of making some bread dough -half will make hubby some rolls to go with the chicken n sweetcorn soup for his flask tomorrow, the other half can stay in the fridge to be turned into a pizza for him tomorrow -we need to nip out shopping tomorrow evening so I will make up the pizza before we go and then just whack it in the oven when we get back ;) I will leave a salad in the fridge for me..
I don't have much else planned for today -so i might work out some more meal plans -really need to use some of the meat up from the freezer
right I will get off -and pop back later .. have a lovely day all and keep at it..we are getting there

Looking good, as ever, Capricorn.

Just dropping in to show off my new shiny (which is never going to rival yours, I know!) and to say I've started on my first main fundraising event on the Nepal trek - I'm swimming the channel in Lent! (In the pool, though!).
I've also splashed out on some new much better & more waterproof walking boots, so I'm doing short walks to try to wear them in a bit!

It's getting closer...

ooh, Sarah - 5st is AWESOME, and swimming the channel (even in a pool...) I'd probably drown! Go you :D

I am very well Capricorn, I hope you are, too (you sound it, how lovely to wake up feeling :D). I'm bouncing off the walls happy today, because I got 2 1/2 off last night and I FINALLY got my first stone OFF :D:D:D. I could not be more happy and my class were dead pleased for me, too (and the SOTW gave me all her fruit in congrats because she doesn't like it ;)).

I've got some lovely HM coleslaw in with me (1/2 white cabbage,3 carrots and celeriac run through the fine chipping blade on the food processor, 1tbs elf mayo, ff fromage frais and a scant handful of mixed mustard seeds) mixed with cottage cheese. I am CRAVING it (well, it's better than craving crisps!) but I'm not really hungry yet so I'm holding off until 1 (53 minutes to go...), it's so good. I must go to MrM's tonight and get more makings!

Has your shred DVD arrived yet? I had a read at it, but I think it's well beyond me for the moment so I've ordered the Dance on Broadway for the Wii as my 1st reward; it looks like it'll be fun :D

Hahaha you're so funny!

Let me know AS SOON as you get the shred! Did another day this mornign since I HAD KFC last night.

I know I know, I'm beyond embarassed... but at least I'm confessing, right?!
I am SOOOOOOO nervous about WI tonight, will be taking my bra off at this rate. URGH! Lots of water for me now, then will stop for hopefully lots of peeing.

Much love and luck to you! p.s. had your thai salmon last night! nomnomnom :eat:

Good afternoon all ....ooooh lots of lovely visitors :wavey:

Well the sun didn't last long  -it's now grim n overcast :sigh: -oh well, good job I wasn't planning on going out anyway!!

Jim -well done on your shiney :party0011: -and if lost as much as me there would be nowt left on you lass ;) .... and  on the sponsored swim .... Hope you raise loads from it :cross:. Its sneaking up on us isn't it :fear: .... I have booked a plot for a car boot in May -hence the major de-clutter going on here :giggle: and I have made quite a lot of those beaded bookmarks, earrings and "dangles" which will "hopefully" help :cross:.
I really need to come up with some more ideas -but I think most will have to wait until we are back in the UK *gulp*
I keep eyeing up boots but as my feet keep shrinking Im trying to hold off -I figure that as long as I give myself 6 months to bed them in I should be ok :cross:

Wenchie... :happy036: on your loss and your shiney .. shinies all round today :bliss:
I love home made coleslaw and yet I have never liked the supermarket stuff  ...
The shred hasn't arrived yet *phew* .. trust me Im soooo unfit its silly - there is a good chance that when I start jumping about I may well make the world shift on its axis :rotflmao: -so you have all been warned :p

Ela ine .... don't fret about the KFC heck we are all human -I think :p and don't be embarrassed either -heck Im sure we have all done much worse in our time ....
Pinkies crossed that weigh in is kind to you -and don't forget that even if the scales don't show the loss you deserve it may just be down to having the KFC yesterday and not having got it out of your system yet ;) plus processed stuff often makes you hold water as its full of additives, salts etc!!
Glad you liked the thai salmon ..tis nommy -well I love it -when I have it hubby looks at it like someone has thrown up on my plate :giggle:
Well I think I will get off and do some more sorting.. wish me luck and if Im not back later -send out the search party

Woohooo Ladies ..

I have come on here as a form of "therapy" -I figure I must need it as someone on another thread mentioned that they are releasing zumba for the wii in April .. next thing I know Im on amazon pre-ordering it :silly: ... its cheaper if you pre-order... like thats a reason to buy it
Thing is - I have never tried zumba and I have the co-ordination of a geriatric flip flop :rotflmao: .... still at least I will be indoors, on my own whilst making a show of myself :p .....
does buying these things count as exercise ?? :p
ooooh and whilst I was at it I bit the bullet and ordered a sports bra ... so at least my assets hopefully won't be going left when I go right :banana dancer: - I swear sometimes I feel like they are doing their own mexican wave :talk017: :D
ooh and on a purely "spoil myself mode" I also ordered some eminem Cds and some Poison Cds .... ooh the neighbours will love me

Whilst Im here -I will report in with having done some more humpin n dumpin -another 2 boxes packed up ready for the carboot :happy036:
Right I will get off and make the burgers so the can stand in the fridge for an hour before I cook em ...Im ready for my dindins :eating:
have a lovely evening all....

ooh and on a purely "spoil myself mode" I also ordered some eminem Cds and some Poison Cds ....

Just changing my mind about possibly sharing a tent with you...

Anyone else want a trip to Nepal???

Just changing my mind about possibly sharing a tent with you...

Anyone else want a trip to Nepal???
:giggle: .... can't beat a bit of poison -takes me back to my younger days -ahhhh..... I promise to be as quiet as a church mouse :D -although hubby reckons I will never manage to be quiet -don't know what he means

Mmmmmmm burgers! x

Good morning lovelies :D

Ela ine the burgers were yummy -especially as I put some mature cheddar in the middle when I made them nomnomnom

Well we are nipping shopping this evening *boo hiss* so I need to make a list -which I will no doubt leave in the house :p ...
so Im thinking that today will be RED :-
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • grapefruit
  • bacon frittata
    [*]lettuce
    [*]cucumber
    [*]tomato
    [*]peppers
    [*]tickled beetroot
    [*]tickled cabbage
  • orange
  • banana
  • black pepper n lemon salmon
    [*]salad
    *as above*
  • 250ml semi (A)
  • fibre plus (B)
  • activia (2.5)
I make that 2A+1B and 2.5 syns -so if I can get some avocados tonight I may add some to my salmon salad mmmmmmm
Im going to use some bacon, leeks and the last of the eggs up making the fritatta -then I can get nice new eggs whilst Im out ;) -oooh and I will add some peppers -I need to make hubbies pizza too -so I can prep it all at the same time :D
well I had better get off and get sorted.. will be back later :wavey:

Because of you, I purchased some syn free burgers last night during class! Mwaha! What do you have with them? Think there are four of them in the pack.

How do you make the frittatas? Sounds like a better red day breakfast than scrambled eggs (although I'm not complaining!) love your recipes heheh! Back on the red days for me! x

I'm pretty sure all that mouse moving, thinking and clicking has to count as body magic, yep :p and I'm totally with you on the Poison - can't beat a bit of blasting it out and singing along :D (although, to be honest, I'm all Adam Lambert all the time right at the moment. It's his fault for being so pretty and having such a pretty bass player. Not that I'm shallow or anything :D)

The homemade burgers sound lush - I must remember to take some mince out of the freezer tonight so I can make them tommorrow and rest them till saturday lunch (last time I put my HExA feta in the middle...YUM!).

I second the request for frittata instructions - I need something more exciting than total 0% and frozen berries (plus I'm now out of total ) and the last twice I tried it turned out like slightly watery scrambled eggs and was deeply unpleasant; I'm right in thinking that a decent frittata should also be quite nice cold, right?

Right, I'm off to finish the sourest redcurrants on the face of the planet :(

Goooooooood afternoon all

cor I have been a buzzy little bee -*buzzy-busy -get it? :rotflmao:* ok so I amused myself if no-one else :giggle:

I have :-
  • got the frittatas done
  • made my salad for lunch and 1 wrapped for dinner tonight
  • chopped everything for hubbies pizzas
  • made a pan of cream of cauliflower cheese soup
  • have some sad tomatoes cooking in the remoska to make the base for hubbies pizzas
  • chopped and tubbed my melon
  • annnddd cleaned the fridge ready for the restock
Somebody stoppppp me :0icanfly:
I love those days where Im using up random odds n sods to make things -I don't do waste in this house if I can help it ;)

Hiya Ela ine ... I make my own burgers -they have chopped gherkin, capers etc in -the recipe should be on my list (OX burgers) ...and I put 14g strong cheddar in the middle -and made home made oven chippie chips and salad with it .... and tickled onion vinegar on my chippies  -its odd as I think in my whole life I have only had a fast food burger perhaps 4 times ... as I can't stand em -yet I love home made ones .....

Wenchie -I had to google Adam lambert ... its official Im an old fart :D ... I do love poison, bon jovi, Alice cooper -I guess Im an old rock lass -although I also love eminem, bob dylan -In fact I will listen to most stuff...

Righty ho -the frittata is just a great way of using up whatever you have to hand.. so mine today have
chopped up bacon, leeks, mushrooms, peppers and a bit of sweetcorn -you basically just soften it all off and tip into a tin/dish and pour beaten eggs with salt n pepper in over the top and bake (I know some people use quark, cottage cheese etc with the eggs -but well eggs are free and cheaper than quark etc -oooh plus Im funny about textures:p). So pretty much like a quiche without pastry -or a thick omelette. If you are on green days they are nice with leftover cooked potato/pasta in and I like to use feta as my (A or B) -now THAT is tasty ;)
I like mine luke warm or cold -but they are great if you have to dash about in a morning as you can just zap em in the micro and dollop on baked beans, tomatoes or anything really depending what day you are on.. and you have a quick brekkie -or throw it in a box with some salad for lunch...
Actually hubby has just come in early from work -so is sat eating 2 with cheese on top and beans ;)
right I had better get off and have my lunch..
Have a lovely afternoon all -and no doubt I will be back later :sign0151:

and here I am again :sign0151:

Back from shopping -ooh I do like it when its done n dusted out of the way :party0049:
We stopped on the way back to get the spuddlies from a Greek/Asian shop and so I got my ginger n chillies in there too, ooh and a couple of melons and a kind of plum I have never had before -I think it said they were and Asian plum -they are reddy orange but the size of apples ...hope they are yummy... I have some golden plums too -
So all in all it was mainly milk, water, fruit, veg and dairy again -we have enough meat in the freezers -so I resisted :thankyouthankyou:
So now that's out of the way for another week I can start meal planning for my new week starting on Sunday ;)
Right I'm off to catch up on here then off to veg on the sofa for a while
Have a lovely day all -and keep up the great work!!

Off to get my brekkie .. have a lovely day everyone and keep up the great work!!!

Hi muffin.

Happy Friday!!! Food log /plan looks awesome (and yes, you inspired me to write mine out this morning, too!)

I’ve hit the gym this morning (at last) and hope that motivation is here to stay!
2.5lbs away from my stone award, so just 7 stone 3 and a half away from catching up with you :giggle:

Thanks for the frittata recipe! I have made that before (but with cottage cheese – as a quiche) but in the oven for 40 mins – so it’s great to know you can just nuke it. Aha!

Went out for a meal last night and stuck rigidly to the plan (whooo!)
Have an awesome weekend hun  x

ooh, thanks for the fritatta instructions, I think I'll see how I go with that tommorrow (more time to find something else if it doesn't go quite right.... ;)).

I'm into a different forzen berries mix for brekkie today and it's got grapes into. OMG! So GOOD. I must remember to buy grapes next time I see them on offer and whack them in the freezer :D.

Well done on resisting the lure to buy more meat! It's yogurt I need to be careful of buying too much of (I'm pretty sure it breeds in my fridge and there's really only so much I can eat!).

Looks like you'll be having a lovely day's eating today :D - I'm on warming fare today: speedy spicy tomato soup for lunch (with scan bran and lcl cheese and a bit of sauerkraut) and prawn curry for tea (lots of tomatoes and onions. Must sin my curry paste out). OM NOM NOM I can't wait!
