Baby Charlie has arrived so lets get on with shedding the rest of this wobble!!!

Afternooooooooooon ladies :wavey:

Hubby has escaped from work early -again ... so is watching the cricket *yawn* :giggle:

well -shamed by Ela ine -and her dedication to the old exercise... I dragged my wii balance board out from under the coffee table this morning and did 30 mins "stepper" with the raiser under it :bunnydance: -so its a start ..and now as much as it will annoy me I will leave it pushed up in front of the TV -then I can't ignore it can I!!!! -hubby came home from work to find me bouncing about with my IPod in - very difficult to keep the rhythm when listening to BonJovi and DefLeppard you know :p -but much better than listening to that woman drone on and on about up n down 1 2 3 ;)
Ela ine -with the frittata -I actually meant warm it up in the micro :p... but to be honest I don't see why you couldn't cook one in there if all the ingredients were cooked and squeezed out...
With how you are going Mrs -it won't be long before you have caught me up :banana dancer: I have been at it longer than you Im sure ;)
oooh my 30 day shred hasn't arrived -so I won't be starting on Monday-we don't get post over the weekend as it goes to hubbies work address ..BUT I will keep up the exercise on the wii and walking around the golf course until it does -THEN I will take the plunge :fear:
Well done on the meal out :happy096:-Im yet to face that little challenge ... thing is -pre-SW I was programmed to start at the back of a menu .... lets decide what pudpud Im having and from there I can work out what I can squeeze down in front :rotflmao: - my niece explained it perfectly when we went out with her, my mum and brother... she was stuffed to the hilt yet when the men asked why we were all having puds -her swift reply was that " us women have a special stomach that has a seperate pouch in it -so no mater how much dinner we eat, that little pouch is always kept empty ready for the sweet stuff!!" :p-it does explain a lot about my weight doesn't it :D
The main problem I have is that I like to cook and when i go out for a meal I want it to be something thats not easy to do at home (fun n games as I spent 2 years at catering college -so there isn't much I can't cook) ... and I really really can't ever see me being happy to go out and have something like a jacket spuddlie .. still I will figure it out when I come face to face with it..

Wenchie -I have an activia intensely creamy obsession going on, I think there are 24 in the fridge in the basement  although I seem to be going through a phase of not eating them right now  -for some reason I seem to be getting less and less interested in eating in between meals :faint2: Im sure it will pass soon though :D

I like frozen berries too -raspberries and cherries are my faves right now mmmmm

I hope you both have a great weekend....

ooohh and I have discovered today that I can no longer manage a full serving of porridge and banana :sigh: -I didn't even have my berries with it this morning -so next time I do it Im going to try 14g oats and half the milk and see if thats better -although it doesn't seem worth dirtying a pan for :silly: -still if thats all I need thats what I will do... I just felt really over full and heavy after it this morning....
I forgot to confess to my naughtiness last night... I "might" have gone on La Redoute and ordered a few more clothes  -in my defence (heck knows I need one) I got some cracking bargains....
in order of the pics below they were :-
£5.52 - was £23
£4.75 - were £19
£8.70 - were £29
£9.80 - was £49:eek:
£6.75 - was £27:eek:
Don't ask about the pink jacket -it is sooooo NOT me , but I fell in love :p ...
I do love La Redoutes clothes -they are great quality -I can't wait until I hit my final target then I am going to open some serious "whoop as*" on their sales

and here are the other bits :p
£12.25 - was £49
£9.36 - was £39 - the jeans not the top
£4.75 - were £19

Now some of the items are in a 14 -ready for my next move down... but I did love em...
I really can't imagine fitting in a 14 -I have NEVER been less than a 16 since I was about 14 years old -so it will be a whole new experience for me....
Right I will go and catch up on everything now and pop back soon..
Have a lovely day everyone and keep up the great work :D

Well done on the bargain hunting - some of those discounts are amazing! I will definately be checking out La Redoute sales post pregnancy for some bargains - now I'm just on the hunt for cheap maternity trousers!!

And you might surprise yourself with the 14's... I bet some of them will fit you now!

Hi Sarah
How is bump coming along?
go to Online Shopping Catalogue, Menswear, Womenswear - La Redoute
and stick Maternity in the search -there are a few bits in the sale ;)
I can't see me getting my bum into 14s yet -but I live in hope :p

Well well well - honestly the places I've been finding which sell maternity clothes is amazing! (especially as all my clothes decided to stop fitting me about a week ago!)
Thank you so much for that, I will definately be exploring the sales when I get home from work tonight!
Bump is doing well - had my scan yesterday and all is good. I've stopped feeling nauseous now so I'm going to creep back onto the wagon and start eating healthy again! Although I'm still off meat, and I'm still way too tired to cook in the evenings. I'm sure that'll pass in the next couple of weeks though

ooh, thanks for the fritatta instructions, I think I'll see how I go with that tommorrow (more time to find something else if it doesn't go quite right.... ;)).

I'm into a different forzen berries mix for brekkie today and it's got grapes into. OMG! So GOOD. I must remember to buy grapes next time I see them on offer and whack them in the freezer :D.

Well done on resisting the lure to buy more meat! It's yogurt I need to be careful of buying too much of (I'm pretty sure it breeds in my fridge and there's really only so much I can eat!).

Looks like you'll be having a lovely day's eating today :D - I'm on warming fare today: speedy spicy tomato soup for lunch (with scan bran and lcl cheese and a bit of sauerkraut) and prawn curry for tea (lots of tomatoes and onions. Must sin my curry paste out). OM NOM NOM I can't wait!

Frozen berries always confuse me... Isn't it kinda like having ice pops for breakfast? Doesn't it hurt your teeth?

Don't forget the syns! x

:girlpower:

Clothes - are lush! I especially like the brown trousers! What size are you now? Slinky slinky!! :bananadancer:
I'm an 18 now. I will say a solid 18 since my 18-20 trousers are a bit lose on me whooo!! Although tbh i should have been in a 22 bottom like I was top. Ironically my top half seems to e slimming faster , what's with that? My boobs are wasting away while my heffer thighs are still masssssiiivee! Urgh!

Seriously, I'm not kidding my hips are HUGE! Meh! Time... Time!

Well done with the wii - need to get on that tonight! While I look for my 30dayshred DVD! :giggle:

About the frittata - well I made one for a snack (I told you I like food :p) and I would not recommend doing it in the microwave - gosh it tasted a bit like a cross between scrambled egg and an under cooked omlette! Hahaha - maybe it was the quark though, hmm better look next time I think :p

Oh well, better go chop some bananas and strawberries for the baby and I! Have a good evening hun - check on you soon! x

Good evening Mrs :D

My clothes vary -mainly 18s and 16s and still an occasional 20 that are fitted and I refuse to part with yet :p
I have ordered a couple of 14s for my next move down ;) -I got loads of summer maxi dresses in the sales before xmas -all 16s that Im planning on wearing through summer -so they had better fit well by then :vibes:
Im the opposite to you - my "assets" are getting bigger in proportion to my bottom half... simply because there is less wobble around them :banana dancer: ... I started off at about a 50D and now Im a 38E -although I have a feeling I should have gone for an F . Im losing quite a bit off my thighs n backside -I just need my jelly wobble belly to shrink :rotflmao:

If you were still a 20 I would have a pair of brand new trousers for you I ordered them and they are styled for "curvy thighs" then when I tried them on I found out I obviously didn't have curvy thighs  -its a shame as they are nice heavy dressy ones
I bet it was the quark that made the frittata consistency funny - I only ever use beaten eggs... next time you have the oven on for something- shove one in .. I love them..
ooh I do eat my cherries frozen -but I tip the others into a bowl to defrost over night ... most are free you just need to check the package to make sure they haven't added a glaze ;)

I promise to make a start on the shred as soon as it arrives *gulp* I might have another play on the wii later... must burn some wobble
oooh how old is baby?
anyhoo -have a good night mrs and keep up the great work :D

Hi Capricorn, you're still doing amazingly well, a real inspiration, I wish I had your motivation and determination. My shred arrived today, I was going to start it tonight but was too hungry once I'd put my LO to bed so cooked my stirfry instead, now I feel too full......may see if I'm still awake in an hour and give it a go then. Hubby is on a stag do so he won't be able to laugh at how unfit I am. Failing that I'm starting tomorrow when MIL picks up my daughter for the night. I'll let you know how it goes xx

Hiya Vix.... oooh do let me know how you go with the shred.. Im expecting to need medical assistance when mine arrives  .. Its odd -I can walk miles etc but my feet have real issue when it comes to leaving the floor at the same time :p .. so I expect to be doing some serious swearing when I start :D
Hubby laughs at me when Im working out -but only because of the lip I give the trainer who insists on saying stupid things to me
How are things going with you ?

Well folks the golf course is closed tomorrow -so instead of walking around there with hubby we are going for a trek through the woods :happy036: -its better as its constant walking rather than "poddle, stop whilst hubby hits the ball, poddle some more and so on" ... Im hoping to get a couple of hours in -should burn a little more wobble :cross:
I have put the beef in the balsamic vinegar to marinade ready for the slow cooker in the morning nomnomnom -so tomorrow will be a success express day and should look like this:-

250ml semi (A)
grapefruit
banana

melon
cream of cauliflower soup
14g cheddar
(3)
pineapple
activia (2.5)
grapefruit
balsamic braised beef (1)
home made oven chippies (1)
lettuce
cucumber
tomatoes
peppers
tickled beetroot

250ml semi (A)
fibre plus (B)

So that comes to 2A+1B and 7.5syns
So I can always add too if need be ;)
right I had better get off to bed..... sleep well all, and have a lovely weekend!!

Good Morning all :wavey:

Hope we all slept well :D - I slept like a top :happy036: so I have got up and washed my hair and then stuck the beef in the slowcooker, I will add everything else after I have had my brekkie and then I can just pretty much leave it to do its own thing all day :bliss:
I AM going to get my meal plan finalised ready for my new week starting tomorrow... yell at me if I don't ;)
SO far the weather is looking dry and crisp -so it should be nice for that trundle through the woods later :cross:.... lets hope I can burn a bit more wobble ready for weigh in tomorrow :vibes: Other than that I don't have much planned for today :hmm: I may fettle our bedroom again and pack another couple of boxes ... we will see..
ooohh I know what I need to try and get hold of... bloomin coathangers, I used to have masses and got rid as I had so few clothes and now I need to replace them so I can get everything hanging and not folded on shelves :sigh:
Right that is enough from me for now.. but I warn you - I WILL BE BACK LATER :giggle:
Have a lovely day everyone and keep at it!!

Well done on being so prepared with the slowcooker et al! Walk in the woods sounds lush - hope you have a nice time and it doesn't rain :p

Good luck good luck good luck with your weigh in tomorrow :vibes:

Baby is 14 months and not mine! xz

Morning Mrs...

my biggest was a size 32  .... made worse by the fact Im a short ar*e at only 5ft 5" :p -so I was pretty much as far round as I was high  ... I do keep declaring that Im sure I have a big frame -and lead lined, concrete filled bones ... but I have had to admit the truth and that is that under here somewhere is a tiny frame ..before I started school I was a tiny elfin little thing ... THAT didn't last long though :p
ahhhh -baby not yours, I didn't think you had mentioned one before ...
I don't think it should rain on us, but we seem to have our own micro climate here -we live near the "ridge" so we get weired ole weather  ... Its gorgeous in the woods, all the bird singing and you rarely see more than a couple of other people :happy036:
What do you have planned for today ? anything exciting?
Right I will get off and get my brekkie...
have a great day Mrs and keep up the brilliant focus you have :vibes:

Hi Capricorn,

I don't post much but i love reading your entries on here, wanted to say well done on the weightloss so far, you're doing so well. I just rediscovered a love of walking. Not doing too much to start as I haven't done anything remotely exercise like for a few years, i figure slow and steady is the way to go. Do about 20 minutes a day during the week then on a sat or Sun do a big walk (3 hours ish). The weekend walk is leaving me less tired already and i'm only on my 4th week.

Reading through your posts i'm struck by a question...............what's 30 day shred? Please?

Toni. Xx

*A Owwwww* ooh my *burrtocks*:p -well Im obviously back from my 2hr -HIKE ..twas definitely upgraded from a trek to a Hike... I swear there were some inclines where you couldn't see where it levelled at the top and I was thinking I might need a rope (or oxygen) :p:giggle: -anyhoo It was still lovely to be out in the fresh air and it has GOT to have helped on the old thighs n backside :bliss:
We stopped of via the naafi on the way home so I got some mushrooms to throw in the balsamic beef And -now I know I wasn't supposed to be buying any more meat right now .. BUT well I couldn't ignore the 600g beef joints "whoopsed" to €2 -so I have 2  ..... roast beef n yorkshire pudding for me tomorrow  -Im actually more interested in the yorkshire pud ;) -ooh and we won't mention the 14 pack of hula hoops that hubby put in the basket -lets see if they last him more than today ;)

oohh and lunch is changing slightly -hubby wants the chicken n sweetcorn soup i made and froze the other day and as there is too much for 1 Im going to have a small bowl too -only 1syn -so Im actually saving 2 syns on my planned lunch :D
I picked up some magazines to veg out with later -not until I have had lunch and sorted out my meal plan though :nono:

Hi Toni,
Hope you are having a nice weekend, and thanks for the support :D. Walking is probably my fave exercise -I just love to get out in the fresh air away from everything and just lose myself...
How are things going with you?
The 30 day shred is a DVD that you will see mentioned on minimins a lot at the moment -its this
30 Day Shred [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]: Amazon.co.uk: Jillian Michaels: DVD
apparently she gets good results -although I think she makes you suffer ;) (there is a thread on here that people have done who are all doing it)... I know its gonna be too much for me to start with but I will just do what I can...

Have a lovely afternoon everyone.. off to get my lunch nomnomnom -smells scrummy

Hellloooo Mrs :D

Just thought Id have a mooch over here (im a golf widow again today ) actually I dont mind as he won a rather nice prize a couple of weeks ago of a few days away at a golf hotel with spa ....he golfs I get pampered :D

Im trying to get as many red days under my belt as I can btween now and the 21st when we go (anticipating a little gain perhaps when Im away ) but Im stuck for meal Ideas already :sigh:.....Im wondering if the mighty wise one might be able to help me out with her wonderful ideas (pretty please with a mahoosive syn free cherry on top ;):D) x x

Afternoon Dizzy my lovely.... ooooh what a prize :bliss: -my hubby always seems to win golf bags, gloves n bloomin balls :giggle:

I remember you always get hungrier on red days don't you ....
hmmm well I know your general opinion on fish :9529: :D

Well off the top of my noggin what about :-
  • balsamic braised beef -wang it in slowcooker recipe
  • mechado beef stew -wang it in slowcooker recipe
  • chicken wrapped in bacon
  • home made burgers
  • goan pork curry -another wang it in SC recipe
  • coq au vin
Then if you are trying to save your heBs for fibre plus bars (that way you get your choccy fix without using syns ;)) - you could skip potatoes sometimes and have roasted carrots, onions, swede etc in place, or have mashed swede :p
plus a lot of those recipes you could have warmed up for lunches too -so you don't need to have sandwiches/crisp breads....
oooohh and you can make fritattas for lunch -and shove bacon and all sorts in ...
hmmmm theres a start, give me a yell if I can do anything else :D -hope you are having a good weeken Mrs.......

well folks I have just put the chippie chips in the oven and the balsamic beef is all lovely n tender -so din dins shouldn't be long :happy036: then I WILL get my meal plan finished....

Thankyou :D I knew you would have some suggestions up your sleeve ;) Slight problem though...I dont have a slow cooker :sigh: no room in the teeny kitchen area for one (the joys of open plan living ) but I could adapt any recipes for the oven I would think?

can I be a complete pain in the bum cheeks and ask if you maybe have a recipe thread stashed away anywhere (I always meant to try and save them as you posted them before on the other site but Im a bit rubbishy with technical things lol

Mr Dizzy normaly just wins money at his golf club, or tees and balls etc, but this was a raffle that they held after one of the matches as part of a charity do.....not a bad prize eh :)

Woohoo Dizzy ...
Most of the recipes should be for the oven anyway, I just adapt when Im playing...
do you want me to pop them over on your diary and then you can make note of where they are :D

Im actually in the midst of typing up my recipes and attempting to stick them on disk so I have them all in one place..gawd knows how long it will take me

OMG!! Jillian Michaels?!?! Now that is hard core. I tried some of her mini online tasters no way i'm anywhere near that level yet. Lol.

I'm doing ok. Only need to lost 3lbs to get my first stone award. It's been slow as i seem to have had a few 'bad' days, which funnily always seem to coincide with either * week, or when i have uni assignments due. But as long as the scales are going down overall i can accept that sometimes i will not be on plan, that's what make SW sustainable, i think!! NSV for me this week was being able to zip my 'small' waterproof jacket over a fleece, couldn't fit anything thicker than a light sweater under it before. Made me very happy.

Right better get back to this bl**dy essay or it'll never be finished.
