Back again!!! This time im gonna stick at it!!!

hi am am new to this site i have 2 really bad weeks and i feel awful for them how do u get ur self back on track i start off ok then end up eating every thing i no i shouldn't :sigh:
 
What I have done in the past (and believe me ive gone through this so much) is just try to right down everything. Plan your meals for the week, start a food diary on here, even start a diary like this one. I just put down mindless ramblings but find it helps when I look back to see where I have been going wrong. Also if ive had a bad day i just draw a line and try to get over it. I try not to write the week off for one bad day. Also the support on here is fantastic, there are so many ppl all going through exactly the same journey it really helps to get talking to ppl. (gosh a big long!)
 
ha ha i always ramble on my diary too with no clue whether im talking to myself or if anyone actually reads it lol, good luck with your first week back on track xx
 
So yesterday was an EE day and had tomato soup and fruit for lunch. Went home last night and my parents, brother and cousin who is visiting from Dublin all decided they were going out for dinner!!! :eek: They said are you coming with us, my answer straight away was no i would make something myself :angel09:
So I made a chicken and prawn curry using chicken, prawns, tomato puree, passata, garlic, chilli, tikka powder and garam massala. Also added some carrots, peas and sweetcorn into the mix! Made some rice to go with it and it was lovely, with enough for my lunch again today! :D
Also had a kit-kat for dessert!

So had my first 100% on-plan day, heres to another one today.

well had an uneventful night. Made fish with chilli and garlic and sw chips. was yummy!!!

Then got into bed with a book and read until 10.00 when I fell asleep! Thats all i did!!! Should have got the wi out but just didnt feel up to it. Have been feeling out of sorts the last couple of days so just needed to relax a little! Might hold off on the exercise until next week.

So today has gone to plan, had my bran flakes with milk and banana. An apple at 10.00 then had leftover curry from last night for lunch along with packet of tayto crisps and a kit-kat!

Dinner tonight is going to be decided when I get home as im not too sure what is in! Might have to do a shop!
 
Tuesday!
Went out for dinner last night with my cousin as he is going back home today! So had skinless chicken, bacon and stuffing with red cabbage, carrots and broccoli. Had about 5 chips so am counting 10 syns for my dinner. :D

Have scouts tonight so a couple hours of running about like a headless chicken!!! Then tomorrow there is a cycle for Marie Curie Cancer Care - im not cycling :eek: but am doing stewart to make sure that people go the correct direction. Means standing around for about 4 hours - hope the rain stays away!:fingerscrossed:

My sis-in-law got a new job yesterday and wants to go out to celebrate so i may have a couple of syn-free days and go out for a meal tomorrow night and drive to avoid the demon drink!!! :(
 
well the rain didnt stay away on Saturday - got soaked on Saturday morning but at least I was helping those people who were cycling for a great cause! :)

Food-wise was a little weird this weekend! Because had such an early start on Saturday i didnt have time for breakfast, then due to standing about all day and the cycle not being over until 4 I didnt have any lunch - just had a banana, apple and bottle of water. But I wasnt in the slightest bit hungry! :eek: So then I met up with my boyfriend (who had spent all day in the pub!!!) and we got a chinese. Now we shared a special that our local chinese does which includes 1 spring roll, 2 spare ribs, 3 chicken balls, chicken curry with rice or chips and a can of coke! All for £6!!! And they call it a Meal for ONE!!!!:eek:

So out of all that I had quarter of the spring roll, 1 chicken ball with the batter taken off, quarter of chicken curry with 5 chips. It made me feel so full which was so strange cos I hadnt eaten all day I thought id have wolfed down the whole lot!!! Went then to my sister-in-law's and had 3 cans Strongbow.

My boyfriend, dad and brothers went to play golf on Sunday so me and my mum went shopping to our local Makro. I had some bacon and scrambled eggs before we left. We got back around 7ish and decided to go to the Indian! We shared a chicken bhuna with boiled rice! :D So im all take-awayed out now!

Yesterday I had bran flakes and banana for brekkie, ham slam for lunch and leftover bhuna for dinner!!! Then went to cinema and had small popcorn and diet coke!

This morning I have lost 1lb. Well at least its something and after all those takeaways id have thought i would have put on!

Back to it this morning with bran flakes and banana for breakfast. Had baked potato with cheese for lunch followed by large bowl of watermelon, melon and grapes with a vanilla and choc muller over the top! Dinner is going to be chicken breast with schwartz shotz and veggies.
 
Decided to go for a walk last night to my friend's house in between the showers! It took me half an hour to walk there at a fairly quick pace so my aim is to reduce the time I can make it there each time I try!

Once I got to hers we sat and chatted for a few hours by which time it was pouring down so I had to get my brother to pick me up!

Had a shower, jumped into bed and read for a while. Such a boring night!!! :D
 
Got home from work last night and started to make my dinner. Cut up a baked potato into chips and pinged them in microwave. While they were pinging got some haddock fillets outta the freezer, sprayed them with frylight and put tikka seasoning, some chilli powder and garlic salt over them and more frylight then wrapped in foil and put in oven. Once the chips were pinged I put them onto a tray with frylight, tikka seasoning and garlic salt and stuck them in the oven too!

After 30 mins, lovely dinner. Yum yum!!!

Then had to go to a meeting so walked down to the office. Meeting lasted about 2 hours so I walked home again and jumped into bed!!!
 
Heading away camping with the scouts this weekend - and it gives rain - typical!!! :sigh: So last night walked down to the hall and sorted out the tents and equipment we need to take with us! Walked home again once we had finished. Think we are gonna have about 25 kids camping :eek: and have organised a programme with a pirate theme so should be fun!

Foodwise I made some oven chips and quorn burgers for dinner last night as was late home from work and needed something fairly quick so the menu I had prepared got changed slightly! :D

So weekend of camping, will make some curry for myself this evening before we set off and might bring my spices mixed up with me so that when the kids are having spag bog tomorrow night I can have some more curry! Hate spag bog :sick0019:

Tonight we are going for a hike around the local forest park then tomorrow we will be going for a longer hike around the park we are staying at! :whip: so ill be well walked!!!

On Sunday however the problems may start. Man Utd play Liverpool and its the All Ireland Gaelic Football Final with my county Down playing Cork! Going to be in the bar from about 1.00 til god knows when - especially if Down win! Gonna be an almighty party - they havent won in 16 years! So ill try to be sensible and have a few soft drinks in between the alcoholic ones and hopefully all the extra walking this week and the hiking at the weekend will help!!! But these things happen and I will still enjoy the day (so long as they win) :D
 
well wasnt at all sensible - cant remember going home on Sunday night as I had so much to drink!!!

Ah well - have stayed the same this week. Have a feeling im not doing something right as before when i was good all week and bad at weekends i still managed to lose something!!! And ive done a lot of walking in the last week!

But anyhoo i shall just continue with it. Away this weekend for my cousins birthday. One of the girls going has lost 6 stone at SW so hopefully she can be my motivation to be at least half good this weekend!

I know it sounds strange but when I exercise I don't lose weight.... I know everyone will argue this saying it can't be true, and I'll still keep exercising etc.. but that is what happens with my body, so perhaps it's same with you? x
 
2 100% days under my belt! took a wee sneaky peek this morning on scales says i have lost 4lbs! :eek: Good incentive to keep me on the straight and narrow!

im not doing any exercise yet as i want to see what i can do for a month diet wise then will introduce the exercise. I think i have failed in the past because i was trying to do everything at once and when i couldnt do it i gave up! :ashamed0005:

im determined once more. would like to be size 18 in a dress for xmas so we shall see. im not putting any pressure on myself though. im doing a reading at my cousins wedding next september and it would be great to have gotten to target by then but softly softly, slowly slowly goes it! :)
 
Hi hun, yay to your restart, I'm similar to you and try and do it all at once etc, then get frustrated it's not happening like I want it to. I find the best thing to do is split it down to small goals, e.g. your half stone award, then take it week by week. You know you can do this hun xx
