Hopefully a lot of it will be gone by the morning as you say clothes plus everything you eat during the day will amount to a few lbs x
 
Sounds more like a STS than a gain! For example I sometimes weigh myself before bed and I weigh 2lbs less when I wake up. Plus clothes weigh more. If you have just eaten or drank that weighs. So I doubt very much u had a 5lb gain!!!

Hopefully it be a better number when you weigh at the usual time

Freaky about your kitten dream and then your friend has two! Happy anniversary for your year in your home together :0)

Definitely sounds like the gain would be the time difference and clothes. How did this morning's go?

Are you still going to the animal shelter? If you do pictures will be absolutely essential. I get so broody when anyone talks about kittens and puppies! I think all my maternal instincts have been rewired to be directed towards things with fur as puppies and kittens bring out the "AWwwwwwww" in me every time whereas human babies produce more of a "Arrrghhhhhhhhhhh! Run away!"...
 
Well guys it is a gain as my unofficial WI this morning was 11.5.2lbs. Exactly where I started 2 weeks ago! Oh well.
Today I am gonna use the majority of my weekly points. I'm back at work on Monday and gonna be full on track then. Routine is much easier and I'm feeling very lethargic and snoozy today. This weekend is deffo about doing as little as possible before term starts on Monday!

No baby kitty for our house anniversary, it isn't very fair on our other little one and not really good timing with going back to work on Monday. So I got a different house anniversary present! Look!

I've called him Mortimer and he is my reading lamp so I can read in bed now! Isn't he great? I love it!
 
That is a totally awesome lamp! He's great. Hope Mortimer is settling is well and that you are enjoying your weeklies :)
 
Don't worry about the gain!! It's hard isn't it when you try so hard but you will lose it!! I'm sure!!

Owls seem to be really popular at the minute! One of my favourite t shirts is one of an owl I got about 6 years ago. It is a bit holy now but I refuse to part with it!

Well yesterday I think I used all of my weeklies and then some! Uh oh! Still it's my final proper blowout as today I am properly back on it, have planned my week and exercise too. I'm back to work tomorrow and pretty sure the routine will help. I can stick to my daily allowance pretty well when I need to and i think I shall just have to use any activity points I earn if I need an extra point or 2.

I have been looking through some old photos earlier as a girl at work asked me if I was really fat when I was younger or did I just think I was! So I decided to hunt out some pics to take in. It has put things into perspective a little, pics of me when I was 17 wearing huge baggy jeans and men's shirts cos I couldn't fit into anything fashionable and just wanted to hide! Then I looked for pics of me at my thinnest 10 years ago and then when I put a load of weight back on. I might not be happy with how I look now but I at least haven't gotten that big again in 7 years! It was a good motivator actually, I sometimes wonder how much I do want to lose weight and I realise now i really do. I have come a long way but I want to see my journey through to the end and feel confident in clothes no matter what season it is!
 
Funny how no matter how worn some clothes get,we just can't part with them!
That's good that you are back on track and that the photos helped you to rethink about your weight loss journey and how far you have come with it all :0)
 
Its good that you have those photos to look back on and motivate you. I do think its really hard when you lose enough weight to look different to how you were before and then things get really slow. Keeping at it can seem more trouble than its worth at times (i know!) but its good that you have some renewed motivation, and being back in your usual routine sounds like it will help.

Any particularly tasty highlights consumed yesterday? I wish to experience the "yum" vicariously ;)
 
Oh dear atomic, it is a bit strange as I seem to have less appetite for chocolate and now veering towards maoam and fruitella! I ate a whole bag of maoam stripes yesterday. I also polished off my honey and walnut loaf I made on Thursday and for tea I made chocken saltimbocca but mixed ricotta in with the pasta and put lashings of Parmesan on! It was lovely. I also ate wotsits and cherry carte d'or and other various nibbles! Was lovely though!
 
All sounds gorgeous! I practically have a fruitella addiction. Even typing the name makes me salivate. I physically cannot stop half way through a packet once I have started but can often have a wispa or something and put half in the fridge for another day. I do think somehow sweets seem less naughty than chocolate when you are eating them, maybe its because they are smaller individually.
 
They are like creamy fruity. That makes no sense really!

Been very very very bored today! I have been grazing all afternoon but I still have about 2pp left so not worried. I've taken myself upto bed. I think my mood is very much irritability based on having to go back to work. I can't settle or absorb myself in anything. I'm looking forward to having my routine back but I hate staff training days! Be good when the kids back on Tuesday. I'll regret saying that by Friday! Haha!

Good luck at training today beck, home the early morning isn't too brutal! Back to getting up at 7.15 for me tomorrow :-/ don't no how I will manage, been getting up at like 9/10
 
Thanks Sarah, getting up at 6:30 wasnt too much of a shock to the system due to summer school, but I'm very tired today! Wasn't a bad day really.

Sparkle I thought normal quorn sausages were a point each, whoops, prob wasn't in my points then- sod it!

Well I ended up not having my lunch today as I ate my breakfast late. However I did eat various chocolate that was kicking about. Still within points though.
Went to paper chase and bought lots of kitsch and childish stationary. A new notebook for planning and ideas, a notebook I just needed for the kittens in hats on the front, a homework planner to make me do my planning and other paperwork after school, stickers for the kids, stickers for me and a reward chart with stickers that you put in 3 targets for the week and put stickers in the days you do them and put down a reward for if you meet your targets! It's to motivate me to the gym!

Excited for my spaghetti bolognaise and an early night!
