I think I just gain weight stupidly easily plus I've had two weeks off plan and I tend to go a little silly. I really need to control my attitude to food better but as long as I keep tabs on my weight I know I'll be ok. I wasn't expecting such a big loss but it's kicked me into touch and made me that little bit more determined than I would have been of it had been just a 3lb gain. I think that's my biggest gain I've had in such a short space of time! X
 
With 2 weeks off plan I think that is a good gain! Hopefully most of it will come off next wk, I expect it's mainly water retention! Make sure u share some of those new recipes with us!
 
Sometimes it really helps you focus to get back on plan and try new recipes and get excited about food again :) x

Apricots and bananas

L- roasted veg-0pp
2x ww pitta breads-6pp
1 tbsp natural yogurt-1pp

T- lanmb, new potatoes and minted veg-12pp

Total- 24pp

Commiserations on the gain but it does sound like it was what you needed to get you back in the right frame of mind, and as Sarah said a fair bit of it is probably water retention rather than "proper" gain so might well come off a little easier.

Food looking fab so far, excited to hear about the gnocchi - its one of my absolute favourites! Is it free on SF? I had read that it was free on Australian WW core which is a similar looking plan.

Ooh I love hearing about free foods on other country's plans I use it as an excuse to count it as free here too ;-)

Like in America popcorn is free if under a certain amount of fat :-D

Gnocchi is so yummy and can't eat much of it as so filling!

Only tweaked today's plan slightly, just had 1 pitta bread and no yoghurt on my roasted veg so I could have some fresh orange this morning and a smoothie after the gym. So far so good! The gnocchi recipe isn't free as its ricotta gnocchi! Xx
 
I didn't have a smoothie I had 2 mini milks instead.
I'm pretty proud of my culinary skills this evening, made a lovely 0pp veg soup for tomorrow and the lamb and minted potato and veg tea was delicious! I'm not a big fan of lamb but I shall deffo be cooking that again!

How do you find 26pp? I'm dreading mine getting less!

Your day looks great tho! Smoothies are yummy and filling! Refreshing in the morning! Especially ice cold! But mini milks are better for the same points lol
 
Let us know what the ww sweets r like! I had the pastels that were free on this months mag, box for 1pp, good for 1pp but nothing to get excited about!

I find it ok now but deffo have to plan snacks better, it's amazing how much difference 3pp makes (I used to be on 29 before the changes). I really struggle if I don't plan! X
 
Hey Sarah, the sweets aren't great. These were fizzy cola ones also free with magazine, and after a few it made my mouth sore so had another mini milk at same pp value as rest of the box of sweets!

Today's plan;

B- ready brek and raspberries-5pp

L- veg soup and ww petit pain-3pp
Fruit

T- Thai beef curry-12pp

Total 20pp
Will use the extra pp for healthy snacks.
 
Won't b buying any ww sweets then! Can u post ur recipe for ur veg soup for me please? It's 0pp isn't it?
 
Yep it was dead easy

1 litre of veg stock made with 2 oxo cubes
2 carrots,
1 onion
1 leek
Stick of celery
Some butternut squash

Shove it all in a pan then cover and simmer for 30 mins- 1 hr. blend.
I added more salt and pepper after. It's not the most exotic soup but tastes lovely. You could shove any veg in really.

I think my body is in shock from being healthy again and having lots of fruit and veg. This is prob TMI but I was up all night going to the loo to pee, I didn't even drink much before bed and I'm full of wind! Oh dear. X
 
Soup sounds nice. I have kept meaning to make soup this week while I am on annual leave but haven't managed to get around to it yet. Maybe tomorrow...

Definitely sounds like your body is a bit shocked by all the healthy stuff! Its horrible when you are up lots in the night the pee - it really pees me off!! Hope it has subsided by tonight
 
I'm the very same with the loo Beck, had to get up twice last night..the last time I didn't want to look at the clock cus it was bright outside and I was scared it was time to get up...but thankfully I still had an hour and a bit..nice! I used to drink sparkling water in the evening when I did LT and my God I was up and down with urgency to the toilet at night after it..learned my lesson now!

Thankyou, I no veg soup is a load of veg but I like to find new combinations that pp actually like instead of making up a batch and it being horrible, then wasting all the ingredients
 
Well I can def recommend the soup. Very tasty.
Had not of a lapse when I came in. I am very ashamed but am gonna write it down but I ate 5 mini milks and 4 alpen bars when I got in from work. Initially I was really hungry but then it was just the craving of more sugar and pure greed. I'm annoyed about this but 5 mini milks worked out at 6 pp and the alpen bars were 2pp each so 14pp used altogether. It could've been a lot worse. Now I have no silly treat foods in my house and it wasn't chocolate which I'm trying to cut out completely this week. I really need to learn the art of moderation though.
