Becky's Diary : This time next year.........................

Becca, how come you do the 5/5 did you do the 1/1 at all of go straight into 5/5. I'm not sure I could cope without veggies for 5 days, its was hard on attack, but although PP days go by quick, I do like the PV days LOL.

I started with 2pp,1pv,2pp,2pv that way I got 4pps and 3pvs in a week but always had Fri and Sat as PVs. I have only recently started the 5/5 to see if it works better. I was quite impressed by my loss last week. Also Laura finding that pvs were much better for her, I thought I would experiment.

I suppose I just shut veggies out when on PPs, I dont even allow myself to think about them, just like how you shut chocolate out! :) I actually find PP days easier as I dont feel hungry at all. On PV days I tend to eat loads and feel hungry. I also vary my meals a lot, and dont find eating any different at all eg I might have muffins for breakfast, chicken curry with shiritaki noodles for lunch then ham omlette for dinner. And I love my pudding so always have either yogurt, mousse, cheesecake or jelly with lunch and dinner, without fail! :D

You will be fine, forget everything and just eat your proteins! PV days are good and definitely helpful if you are going out or have visitors. I am also on PPs all weekend as my 5 days finish on Sunday. Unfortunately that puts me on PPs again the following weekend. I just tell myself only 5 days and hooray veggies. I find I focus more when something has an end I can look forward to.

I picked my phone to check if I had any missed calls and there was a message 'ovulation forecast: in 3 days'. I loudly said really? I thought I did that a few days ago is it back already?! I dont want to, this means TOM will be here again soon!:(

Anyhew! Moving on, level 3 Shred tomorrow, I am so excited. Ehhhhhh no, not because I will be doing the exercise but it is coming to an end!

Food plan today: Day 74 PP
Breakfast:
5 oatbran muffins (well thought there was no point leaving 1!:D, bad girl I ate my 3 days worth in 2 days!)

Lunch:
2 boiled eggs
cottage cheese
blackcurrant mousse

Dinner:
chunky chicken soup
lemon cheesecake

Fluid intake
1.5l sugarfree summer fruits squash
1l water
500ml diet coke
3 cups coffee

Hi Beth, I bought mine from the official dukan website. They were very expensive for the amount you get. I once bought them cheaply on the web but they were not as nice as the ones from the DD shop. They were quite rubbery and felt like you were eating rubber bands! The DD ones are softer and closer to noodles. They also didnt smell as fishy as the one I got previously. If I found something else I will let you know.
 
I have been beefing up my recipe book. I went through all the 15pages on the recipe thread. I am so looking forward to my veggie days now! :)

I have also seen them on sugarfreemegastore.com, £1.65 for 200g.
 
Ok, a lot of you might have been on this site but hey have only been there for the first time today. Sugarfreemegastore! I think this is going to be my favourite store. I am shuddering to think how much I am going to spend on there, this is going to make my dukan life so easier.
I found sugar free ketchup and an array of other calorie free sauces and check this out sweet chocolate dip and the stats:
Serving size 2 Tbsp. (30g) Servings per container 12 Calories 0 Calories from Fat 0 Total Fat 0g Saturated Fat 0g Cholesterol. 0mg Sodium 210mg Total Carbohydrates 0g Fiber 0g Sugars 0g Protein 0g

Ingredients:
Triple filtered purified water, defatted cocoa powder, natural flavours, cellulose gel, lactic acid, sucralose, salt, xanthan gum, egg whites, potassium sorbate (to preserve freshness)

Shiritaki noodles are much cheaper than on the DD site!

Shred Level 3 :). I enjoyed it actually, I think its easier than level 2 or maybe I am fitter! :D. I managed to do full sit ups without support for the full minute, something I said no way I will do that when I watched the DVD last night :). I am so excited I am nearly finishing it and I have not given up. So I was doing the sumo squat hops and was going 'oh I can't do this' and Brad says 'mummy you can't do it because your bottom is more round and too big than them, it need to be medium size so its perfect'! :eek: Dont you just love them!

Measured myself again after 10 days of level 2 and I have lost a total of 3inchs. The inch losses from start of Shred is 3.2 off my waist, 5.3 off the bust, 1.5 off the hips, 1 off the thigh. Thats an amazing loss of a total 11 inches in 20days!

Just to recap my stats then: 75 days of Dukan, 20days of Shred and 20.5lbs off (including the lb I lost this morning :)), 6.4in off my waist, 6inc off my bust, 7.5in off my hips, 3.4in off my thigh and 0in off my arm (telling myself thats becuase its already all bicep! :D). I am very pleased and proud of myself. Cornilius said as I walked to the kitchen last night, 'come back here, oh my I cant believe you have lost so much, your legs are really toned, this is unbelievable, i am so proud of you!' What else would you need to speer you on! (nothing?.................wrong answer! Also need you guys :D).

Thought I would post this one as 1. its brings my achievements into perspective and is good motivation for me and 2. it might motivate someone starting out! Hope you don't think I am being immodest and showing off!

About to cry now, I went to edit my inches on my signature and for some reason it wasnt coming into the edit box. I pressed save by mistake and its gone! :( I have to restart it now.
 
Finally, my signature is sorted, not as neat as I want it but all the data is there! Off to cook now, 5 PV days from tomorrow, yeay! :)
