Beelishy's VLCD Weight Loss Adventure!!

Up early (child's choice, not mine! lol) today. Had a bit of...er....trouble in the loo. I cannot tolerate the liquid fibre stuff. So I may have to try tablets. Senokot - I think we have that one back home too. Not sure. Any one have any tried and tested ones they can suggest? Ive never had to use any in this country. lol. Help? (again!)

Going to have my first pint of water now and get the kids fed. Feel a bit blah today. Probably tiredness.

Morning, feeling a bit like that myself!! Try senokot usually does the trick!

Have a good day, last day at work for me 2day then im off for 3 days xx

I'm having that problem too! Though so little going in, I'm not really surprised ;)
Think things settle down, but giving it a helping hand is fine. Senokot is fine, it's more natural than some of the other products out there!
Hope you feel better soon!

Peaches, enjoy your days off, and hope the weather stays like this! xxx

So far Ive had 2 pints of water and my porridge. I decided to have porridge twice a week for breakfast. I do love it, but I think it may boost the carbs a little, so keeping it to a minimum.

Hope everyone has a great day :)

I love the porridge! I had it with milk allowance felt like a treat.

Had my crispy choc shake for lunch and my 3rd pint of water. Then I took the girls out to the park. A fair amount of walking and pushing Tabby on the swingfor half an hour, which is usually much, but on so few calories.. was knackered! lol Then we walked in to where hubby works in our town centre and visited with him at work for a few minutes. Then we walked over and got the bus home. Poor little legs was tired by then too, bless her lol. I need to get some more water down before dinner time. Was going to try to sneak in a coffee too, to warm me up. lol

Not sure what to make tonight...so much choice! lol Maybe chilli, maybe mushroom pasta!

Mushroom pastas nice I added extra mushrooms and done quark

I couldnt go to the gym on this diet. No way. lol. I can just about manage long walks. Im going to try slightly more aerobic walking. Ive got a dvd that breaks them down into milkes and theyre about 12 mins but theres arm movements added in tooo. Gonna try that. And Tai Chi.

I've had a couple of days on 3 packs and one low carb/high protein meal - I feel like I've actually had a proper meal! Adds a bit of variety too!

Yesterday I had chicken breast chopped up over lettuce and cucmber, well seasoned.
Today, two boiled eggs, sliced up over lettuce and cucumber again, and well seasoned.
Never enjoyed food so much lol!!

Actually lower on cals today, and MUCH lower on carbs!

Saving my shake till around 6.30pm, then a coffee, then day ten over!

Time is flying by, don't you think? xxx

Had a bowl of broccoli and asparagus with mushroom pasta poured over the top. Was really gorgeous!

Having a muesli bar at 7 with my coke zero.

I need to figure out, of the veggies on the allowed list, what has the least carbs and what has the most.

If you use the S&S's online meal planner, and put everything in there what you've eaten for the day, it tells you how many carbs are in each pack, and each veggie. Veggies don't have many at all - the packs are responsible for the amount of carbs really - that's what I found anyway :) xxx

I just wanted to make sure that I was not having the "worst" veggies of the lot. LOL. Kinda like I hadnt realised how much the 150ml of milk added to cals and carbs. Ive started using the planner now and I think Im going to start having boiled eggs for lunch, quite often. Theres virtually no carbs in them and theyre super high in protein. I guess I would need to take a multi-vitamin as well on those days?

I do test runs on the planner to check carbs in each veggie. I just put them in, put in the weight, then add it to my planner - I then know the cals & carbs. Once I know them, I then delete them - it's a quick way to check what's in everything!
Remember, if you're having boiled eggs to change the planner from Simplicity to Lifestyle, else it won't let you put them in!
Tbh, I don't take a multivitamin. I am probably eating better now than I have in years! I take Vitamin B, D3, and Calcium every day any way.
xxx

Would you take one if you did 3 packs and protein everyday?

Yes I would, but as I only intend doing a couple of lifestyle days per week, I don't think it's really necessary :) xxx
