Bev - Round 2

Week off done and dusted and back at work. I haven't weighed for a couple of weeks, I know I've put on though. I feel I will be doing exante for a little bit again next year before my daughter's wedding and holiday. Still trying to cut out the snacking though and not letting myself go too mad. Went to badminton last week and had some good games and lots of them too.

Had a lovely week off, went to Plymouth shopping (kept an eye out for you Tanya!) and got lots of bits and bobs. Weather wasn't too bad for my week off but it didn't matter anyway. Back to the grindstone today!!

Hope everyone's had a good week, off to catch up with everybody's threads.

Glad you had a lovely restful week. It's so nice to recharge. Shopping is always fun.
Pity about the gain. Don't be so fatalistic and hard on yourself as to expect you will have to do exante again! It's a long time till hols and wedding so you must think more positively, Bev.
You have done well since your second TFR stint. Try keeping a detailed food diary. It doesn't have to be on here.
Examine it each day and see what you need to adjust. Only small adjustments to portion sizes or swapping high cal foods for better alternatives is all that's needed to rein any gain in!
Bev, you have done well and you can stay in control.
Have a good week.

Glad you enjoyed your time off Bev and hope you spent loads on your shopping spree.

Agree with what Molly has said above too, think more along the lines of I can stop this snacking and reduce my portion sizes to lose some weight for the wedding next year. Come on girl, you can do it.

Glad you had a good time Bev. You have got a little time before the wedding so I hope you manage to find something that works for you x

Glad you enjoyed your time off, bet it went far to quick though as time off always does!

I would have probably been asleep Bev when you were here shopping! hehe

You have plenty of time before the wedding so maybe you wont need to go back to exante and can get the weight off a different way?

xx

Glad you enjoyed you week off ... they pass by far too quickly but are great while they last :)
I'm in no position to be giving dietary advice at the mo  xx

Off to badminton tonight and I've been asked to play in a home match tomorrow too. That should burn a few calories! Also been walking in after work every night so that should help too. Been snacking a lot lately though so really have to nip that in the bud again. Why is this always so hard?!?!

Oh Bev .... it's never ending isn't it :(. We have to keep banging on though - we don't want to end up back where we started. At least you're active :) xx

Yup, the badminton will help a bit with the snacking! :)
I wish we knew why it was so hard at times it'd be easy to sort then wouldnt it! hehe xx

Badminton was good last night, lots of games and won lots of them too! Have match tonight and really looking forward to it. One of the ladies playing hasn't played a match before so I will be as encouraging as possible and try to get her to relax and just enjoy it. She's only young too so I think she will be pretty nervous.

It's pouring down here and is supposed to be most of the morning. The rain is heading north though and is meant to be gone by dinnertime. My walk in should be dry!

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Not planning on doing much except watching England getting beat by Spain (not very patriotic I know but just realistic!!).

Yep .. can see that rain making its way up to us ... thanks very much!! ;)

Have a great weekend (I'm working :() xx

Have fun at badminton tonight & gl for the game :)
Enjoy your weekend x

Hope you managed to keep dry Bev, and well done on the badminton.

Snacking, if only there was a prescription we could get to avoid it, someone would be a multi-millionaire!

The match on Friday was really good, we won 6-3. I won 2 of my 3 games so was really pleased with that. I maybe playing in the return match this Friday if I'm needed too. I hope so!! Really enjoyed playing, felt happy with the way I played too.

Didn't do much this weekend, did some sorting out at home, housework and a bit of relaxing too.

It's the anniversary today of us losing our friend. My dad attended a ceremony on the lifeboat yesterday to scatter his ashes. My mum said he was absolutely heartbroken. They were more like brothers than friends. Bit of a tough day but just got to get on with things.

Well done on the match Bev :)

Aw I feel for your dad. How heartbreaking to hear he was heartbroken. I hope he is ok, or as ok as can be x

It's very hard isn't it :( **hugs** to all  xx

I am playing in the return badminton match on Friday night afterall. Got a phone call last night. So I get home on Friday at about 5pm and have to be out the door before 6pm to get there for 7pm! I'm not driving this time, getting a lift, sharing the burden around a little and why not!! I will be shattered on Saturday but I have a lay in as hubby is working the morning.

My youngest daughter has just joined a gym and is loving it. It is early days though but hopefully she will keep it up. She doesn't need to lose weight (not even a pound!!) but just wants to tone up and keep fit. Good for her I say.

Walking to mum and dad's after work tonight so hoping the rain stays away.

Great to see you are enjoying the badminton. It will help burn off some cals too.

Saw mum and dad last night and they are both fine (phew!!). Hate thinking of either of them upset.

Got caught in some really heavy rain walking to meet hubby last night, it really lashed down! Looks like it will be a bit nicer today.

Have badminton later and then match tomorrow night. I know I didn't want to be in any teams at the beginning of the season but I'm really enjoying playing at the moment so I'm happy to play in any games they want me to. I wish I enjoyed the gym the same!!
