Big Boys Need Love Too!

yeah i was reading about it earlier. apparently sniffing and coughing are more common forms of mild tourettes. it has to have started before you turn 18 or 13 or some age like that. i absolutely get the itch thing, that's exactly like what happens with the sniffing it's awful. and if you dont do it just gets worse and i end up having a massive sniffing fit, it's crazy. thankfully, whether it's a tic or tourettes, it hasn't affected me much so i havent thought to check it out, it was just my annoying habit. I feel incredibly sorry for your brother and your OH Jenn. You're obviously very proud of them. xxx

well not need to feel sorry. It's not that kind of thing...but thanks for the empathy. I am glad you can kind of understand where I am coming from. and yes, I am extremely proud of both. Not just because of what htye go through, but in their own rights, afflicted or not, they had enmorous achievements.

well i have finished my christmas cards, sorted out tons of paperwork. and finished off my christmas stuff...well most of it. I am not sure what i am going to go about the US stuff, as i can't buy my family gift cards like i wanted because i don't have a US credit card...and my cards here are in my UK address. So i need to figure something out. Now i am going to relax for the first time today, as I have been nothing but cleaning, sorting and arranging. my tummy hurts from sitting in a poor position...so now I am going to chill, put my feet up, turn the massage on my couch and have some peaches. *LOL* just so you know if the typos are worse it is because i have a wireless keyboard now and i have to rest it on my belly or one leg to get comfy...so the typos will be worse. sorry.

speak to ya in a bit.

hows the baby getting on? at what kind of stage can you feel it kicking? xx

haha elle, the baby is fine thanks. He/she has been moving around nice I was about 13 weeks. which is a surprise since last time I didn't realise till i have 16+ and felt major kicks by 21 weeks. I will be 19 weeks tomorrow...so almost half way there. I feel the baby once or twice a day...for about 3-5 minutes...and at night when i lay in a position that they baby doesn't like. *LOL* Sometimes, i can just lay on the couch and be watching telly, and see my tummy just jump. Both my OH and LU have felt the baby, when he/she is kicking...so that has been nice. LU always kisses my belly in the morning and says "good morning Mimi.!" *LOL* I keep saying the baby may be a boy so then he said...chris...hahaha. I wil find out the sex on new years eve...and rest assured i will be on here shortly after with the news.

Awww mimi - did you want to call the baby that or is mimi a name LU came up with lol because personally I love it! x

elle, if she is a girl her name will be samantha, but her nick name will be Mimi as that is what LU came up with. If he is a boy then christopher. And chris as a nick name. *s*

Ohhhh christmas treeee, ohhh chriiiistmas treeee :d

Lovely tree Elle. With a bit of luck mine will be up sometime this week. x

Taz - I hope all went well with the physioterrorist. x

Jenn - It's a tough call but all you have to do is give LU the love and support you have given OH. You should be able to get him checked out through your local health centre. They must have links to the right people and if you're pushy enough they should listen and get a diagnosis for you. If he is diagnosed with this or any other condition you must make school aware of his condition so that he is treated appropriately and not given incorrect labels (which are sometimes far worse than the medical labels). Early diagnosis is key to getting the right education and behavioural outcomes so you are streets ahead already. Be happy x

Abz - have you eaten all the food in the house yet? It must be a great novelty for you x

Well I'm not gonna be around for long this evening cos I'm feeling really tired. I didn't sleep very much last night and I'm feeling pretty rough this evening - not sure if I'm going into work tomorrow - I'll see how I feel in the morning. Night night x

Yea, I'll be ok Elle - just need to get whatever is lurking over and done with - I'm seeing my grandchildren at the weekend so don't want to be ill then x

Morning all, I feel really tired this morning and like I really don't want to go to work. I don't like feeling like that but I'm sure I'll be ok once I am awake and moving.

Physioterrorist wasn't too good really. She just went over the exercises she told me to do last time and talked a bit about the pains and managing them etc. Then she said she would see me again in the new year and give the exercises a 'good go' but she is suspecting more meniscus trouble and thinks I'll need another arthroscopy! That's not good news.

I have a sore wrist this morning, think I must have banged it at work yesterday cus it feels bruised now and a bit tender to touch.

Have a good day all

:character00238: Good morning everyone :character00238:

Feeling a bit crappy this morning. Not going into work today and will see how I am feeling tomorrow. I won't sit around and mope though - I'll draw up a list of things that need doing and plough through what I can and rest in between. To be honest after my awful sleepless night on Sunday, yesterday was like climbing Everest and I pushed myself to get through what was quite a physical course.

I definitely need to be well for the weekend cos I'm looking forward to seeing my little boys (grandchildren) in Wales and giving them cuddles :)

Taz - That's not very good. I hope the outcome will be better than you are thinking but if it needs to be done at least you know what you are dealing with - It's not what you were hoping for though is it  Keep strong and positive and don't do anything to make it worse :) x

Have a good Tuesday everyone :character00238:

Hiya Gem :) i'm still feeling tired aswell but i'm not feeling as lethargic. i think it's good that you've stayed at home - everyone needs a rest once in a while! the boss has a meeting out of the office so me and the other girl that works here have put on some christmas songs to help us along - we're spending the morning emailing people. woohoooo, sounds fun doesn't it? haha.

hope you feel better today Gem :) xxx

OUR CHEEKS ARE NICE AND ROSY AND COMFY AND COSY ARE WEEEEEEEE la la la

It'd be fun to be a fly on the wall listening to you two singing along - Bet you'd swat me though x

Swat a lovely fly like you? no chance :p We've had to turn it off now cos mr boss man is back and he talks on the phone a lot. gutted because it was actually making me work more efficiently. now im just plain bored again zzzzz. But he's off down to london till the 19th tomorrow so you know what we'll be playing every day till then! hahaha.

ooh i weighed in this morning, seems I'm rid of the squatter. good job too, before he could set up camp etc. now im just going to try really hard so i can hopefully lose at least a lb on friday. come on, just one at least :)

xxx

Yay for the squatter in it's cardboard box for Christmas, shivering as he (they're bound to be male) eyes up some un-suspecting passer by who's had too many mince pies :8855:

The 19th is a good date - it's the end of term :)

Oh and thanks for not swatting me :D

yeah and i BELIIIIEVE there's a chance i might be off from then toooooo yaaaaay.

did you read my diary before you last post then Gem? If not, we have a strange psychological connection... read the recent post in said diary to see why... lol. x
