good luck Abz, I an handle a couple of days but more than a week and it would make me struggle.
Taz, yep, 2 5. weeks now, just been going through his clothes at the moment as I have 5 large storage containers just for the 0-3 months clothes, but I have had to take out anything that is for 7lbs and under babies as he will be bigger than that even with the initial come home weight loss. So no point even putting them in the drawers.
I packed my bags last week for both chris and myself. I am not sure what the NHS actually do there end, as I have to supply my own milk and nappies and cotton of the general stuff you expect to do yourself. But NO NAPPIES? Plus you have to bring bottles and formula? Like i dont have enough to bring with me. I mean I am going to give him "home made" milk, but as I am having the section it isn't going to come in that fast so I need to have formula to top him up to ensure he is getting something! And I saw my midwife for the second time on thursday. The last time I saw a midwife I was 11 weeks and it was only because i chased up why I hadn't seen anyone. I can only assume I have fallen through the cracks somewhere ( like that is possible) *LOL*.
So yeah everything is almost ready. LU is getting excited about his brother AND his birthday which we are going to move back a few days so that I can actually be there. Plus he wants to go to Pizza hut for his birthday, which I am hooping chris will sleep right through, but it will all depend on how well I will be able to move after the surgery. He plays a game called the funkeys which he loves and they have little small statue like plastic characters. I just bought him about 15 more plus some that are only available in the US so, I am planning on trailing them from his room, down the stairs through the hall and lead him into the living room where he is getting a ben 10 bike with stablisers. I just hope he likes it. But I know him, he is such a sweet and greatful child, he is run up to us and say " oh mama, thank you I love them- thank you for buying them for me!" Which is what he says even when I just buy him a colouring book! *LOL* I hope number two baby is just like him. But my luck he is going to be the opposite.
Anyway, looking forward to the summer where I can eat more fresh fish and get out with the boys and try and lose some of this weight. I am curious to see the the final weight will be once the baby is out and everything is gone, then I will know where I stand, so I can get on the weight loss trail with you lot. I am getting prepared already. I bought some qourn burgers from morrisons the other day as they were on sale for £1 per pack, and I have quite a few other things to start with.
Hope you all have a great easter.
