Blue's last chance with exante.

Oh my golly gosh!!!! 18lbs!!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaa! That's amazing!!!!! Fantastic!!! Xxx

OMG OMG 18 POUNDS!!! That is amazing I am sooooo pleased for you. If I can lose half that in my first week I would be cartwheeling round room , well maybe not cos i cant cartwheel but id try lol. What a fantastic start! :D xx

18lbs is an amazing loss, remember you saying you were on day 7 on the honk topic, so thought I'd pop in to see what you lost. 18lbs is amazing! Congratulations, you must be over the moon

Thanks everyone, I am thrilled with the 18lbs. I reckon now I'll have a low loss in week 2 but that's ok with me :)

So it's day 9 and I feel a bit crappy. Quite dizzy. But I have weird dizzy spells anyway so its probably nothing to do with exante.

They really aren't fun at all :( I have random blackouts now too so having millions of tests to find out why.
I've had this since I was 13 and it gets worse every year.
Ah well.

Today I have a really dry mouth.........I don't get it! I drink at least 3 litres of water a day and have extra water in my shakes but my mouth feels like a desert!
Does anyone else get that?

Thats a great loss Blue ;D
Well done :D

Thanks Marge!

Jael, the dry mouth is so weird! It's even worse than when you wake up in the morning and have a dry mouth, this feels worse than that!
I wonder if me drinking fizzy drinks is making it worse?
I have my water but also 2 cans of dr pepper a day, I've never really had fizzy stuff before, only every now and again.

Sooooooooo its day 10 already :D
And what a crappy day it is. It's raining here and freezing cold.

I need to start doing some exercise but I don't know how....I mean I know how to exercise (I'm not stupid!) but with my anxiety problems getting outside/to a gym is not really an option right now.
I have a really odd shaped living room too so cant even do an exercise dvd.
Any suggestions?
I live in a flat so no stairs to run up and down.
Maybe an exercise bike would be good?

Any exercise thst you feel comfortable and enjoy doing is good.
We are all different.
I would rather put my head in a blender than have to run......
But i find an hour of a spin class is fab :D
Whatever you do blue, start slowly, even walking at first will be good for you :)

Actually.... if you struggle to go out..... why dont you try getting up off the couch every time the adverts are on....
Just walk about your flat... or tidy something during that time.
Its not alot.... but it gets you moving, and the added bonus of a tidy flat too :p

Wow great loss hun, I get a dry mouth when I drink lots of fizzy drink but we are all different. Try to increase your water intakes.

Im sat here lol @ the rather put head blender than run comment ,im so with you on that Marge!

Blue, have u thought about aqua fit classes? I totally hate any form of excercise and over the years ive tried gym , jogging, walking and loads classes but Ive discovered aqua and actually enjoy it. I know it sounds mad as being in a swimming costume sounds like torture to most over weight people but once in the water no one can see you. It amazing how the bouyancy of the water helps and also it tones you. The class I go to is usually full of older women but they are so lovely I have never felt self conscious , Ive been to four classes this week! xx

The getting up every time adverts come on the tv is what I am going to try this weekend!
I used to love going for walks around my village because I live in a lovely small village that's just got walking trails and stuff but I cant even go out the front door alone right now so that's something to work on in the future.

I used to go to aqua aerobics and I loved it so much. It doesn't feel like you're exercising does it, but you are!
That is something I hope to be able to get back to when my anxiety calms down a little bit.

What I want to do is learn to ride a bike :D
I used to be able to ride when I was a kid, had a head injury in 2006 and forgot (really!) I think being bigger doesn't help when trying to balance on a bike either.
When I've learnt to ride a bike I will be able to cycle to the swimming pool, do an aqua aerobics class, and cycle home. That would be amazing exercise all in one day!

Hiya Blue - that's an amazing loss in the first week. I started on March 7th too - first weigh-in and I'd lost 10lb ! - had a bit of a struggle on a couple of days but all in all not too bad. I hope things start looking up for you - you are doing amazingly well :) xx

!
Thats excellent Blue :)
Even if you get up and walk around for the 3 or 4 mins the ads are on, and sit back down and watch the tv again, you will be moving about.
If you say you are going to do it between 6pm and 10pm or whatever hours you choose....
When I felt a bit down a few years ago, that was the only way my house ever got cleaned... it does work :)
Unless of course you watch the BBC  ;)
Good Luck :D

Well the getting up when the adverts is on.....is working!
But today I'm watching a dvd so I've decided I will get up every 20mins for 5mins wandering about/tidying/jogging on the spot. So by the end of the 2 hour dvd I will have been up for a total of 30mins.
So thanks for the suggestion Marge :D

I will be ordering my new packs tomorrow.
I was thinking about doing a month of slim and save, just for variety but I cant decide if to or not.

Thats excellent blue :D
Im glad it has helped :D

Ooops had 2 bars today! Forgot I'd already had one earlier in the day and had another in the evening. I guess it's better than eating 'real' food though.

Got to go and give my statement at the police station tomorrow, really nervous now. I know I'll get upset and will find it really difficult to talk about but it needs to be done.
This time tomorrow I'll feel better because it will be over and done with (that part anyway)

Diet wise I am doing great.
3 litres of water a day.
3 packs a day.
Little bit of exercise now.
Don't feel hungry at all :D
