My birthday on Monday , il be 45 , I didn't want to be fat and forty so I've wasted and yo yo'd my way through 5 years , don't want the next 5 years to be the same and be fat and 50,

Re writing my pro and con list is definitely a good idea,

I managed to lose a fair bit in time for my 40th but it coincided with my kidney transplant and steroids etc so it all went back on. Now to battle it off again for the big 50 :eek: At least you still have a few years to sort it out I'm down to 1 and a bit EEEEEK
We can do this,
You made me realise I just need to put up and shut up , I'm moaning bout struggling and gaining but it's all my own doing , I don't have the obstacles you have to work round ie certain food groups you have to avoid , you just made me realise the only thing standing in my way is me , I don't mean it patronising in any way but I think I needed a reminder stop feeling sorry for my self ,

I am so glad you said it and brought me to my senses,
So gonna get birthday out the way on Monday coz I'm out for tea and the theatre and it all Starts Tuesday , no excuses

A wise decision I think to wait till Tuesday. Have a fab birthday enjoy the meal and the theatre, What are you going to see? All sounds lovely.

Than from Tuesday try not to be too hard on yourself - slow and steady wins the race and it will be easier to maintain once you get to target, No boom and bust. It's where I fall down as i have to be good or then I'm very bad, happy medium doesn't seem to work for me. :D

Yes your absolutely right think of the long game not a fast sprint then fall flat again,

I'm going to see Agatha Christies Mousetrap , at the grand theatre it's celebrating 60 years , I'm really looking forward to it ,

So I'm feeling more focused , I'm planning to re start on Tuesday only because it my birthday tomorrow and im out after work to the theatre and having tea out ,
Really looking forward to it I'm going to see agatha Christies "mousetrap" never seen a play as such before it's always been musicals I've seen , so I'm going to enjoy my birthday then I'm trying to think rather than saying diet I'm healthy eating ,
