Not bad, voice is making a bit of a comeback but cold is advancing unfortunately. ah well - joy of joys - just when I wanted to be well to have a nice couple of days off work with L for her birthday! :sigh: I don't actually feel that bad to be honest - just worried about giving it to her!

You'll have to wear a surgical mask around her Bren! The last thing she needs is another cold when she takes so long to get over it.

I know, and I can't go visit Dad either as a cold on top of pneumonia would be very bad

Get some Echinacea in you. I have no idea if it works as I always pickle a cold with alcohol but it's gotta be worth a go lol.

Just about keeping level really, neither better nor worse - just really p'd off with the missus tonight. Money - bloody hate it, never seem to have any luck with it, and everytime we seem to get a bit sorted she cocks it up again.

I'm terrible with money. Never got any and I hide from bank statements!

She just said that she wants to use what is left off the loan we took out to do the house up to pay some off her credit card - yes dear, it will only take 6 bloody years to pay it back then! good god.

Some people have financial acumen, some don't (I'm in the latter camp).
