Bren's Diary - The journey begins, again!

Well I'm at work at the moment and just realised as I naughtily decided to eat a half a CD bar this morning with my coffee in the car i forgot to eat breakfast so will be having breakie at morning recess!!

So far about 500ml of water (cold green tea) I drink my first bottle of the day with this.

Also realised that I haven't ben religious with taking my multi and flaxseed oil so will be straight onto this as of today might help shift things along.

Also I reckon I've only been drinking about 2.5ltr a day and not the 3 or more. So will try and up this.

Enjoy your last 20 mins or so at work and sleep well. We will chat soon.

Work is over. My legs are done, Doc says 1 more session, so this means more needles however, at least my legs will be bikini ready!

I've had a dizzy spell this afternoon and thought it best to eat a little, so I had some blueberries about 1TBS of shelled pistachios, apple and 3 slices of light cheese and 1 slice of yeast free, sour dough bread ( thought the carbs might settle things and they did.

So here I am at home and thinking that I should have my evening meal, but I'm still full (fed not over full) and really am not hungry given the snacks i've had. I'm thinking some green tea an may be a small tin of tuna if I get hungry later. But really think I dont need dinner as if I do I will feel over full and not be feeling thin in the tummy before bed in 2 hours time.

Any thoughts anyone????

Also forgot to mention I had dinner out last night and had salmon and vege ( salmon not allowed but at least it was fish), I avoided the bread and dipping oil and wine!

I'm getting good at this. Also resisted biscuits and cake that was put on at recess this morning.

if you don't feel hungry then don't eat anything hon. there are a couple of hours yet and a bit of protein when you get peckish might be the best idea. don't starve your body or it will hang onto things even more, but don't make yourself eat if you don't want to.

green tea should wake up your digestive system in any case so i'm sure it will get rumbling if it feels ignored :)

Very true. I love green tea.

Learning a lesson about only eating if I'm truly hungry. key for me is not to eat until I feel full, just satisfied then the skinny feeling comes back and I feel good about myself.

it's a good lesson to learn bren, but you aren't eating an awful lot these days are you? so don't overdo it babes.

am off to make myself a cuppa and possibly some cereal. i remembered to bring it back from work, ha.

I am eating a lot tomorrow's plan is;

coffee
175gm yoghurt
peach
tuna and salad + 2 crisp breads
honeydew melon
coffee + 2 crisp breads
diet lemonade
fish and vege + 1 crisp bread
honeydew

What do you think?
 
i wouldn't say it's a lot bren, ha. but it's more than i thought. looks uber healthy!! but then it would do wouldn't it :) how many calories are in that? are they enough to keep you going?
 
No idea.... maybe about 800 - 1000 all depending on the day other options are cheese or tofu or eggs for protein and there are about 10 different fruits to choose from!

But once the food creates ketosis in your body you are not hungry. Hence my decision not to eat another meal, as I snacked earlier on cheese and this was the amount of protein I would have had at dinner so my body is not hungry. YAY!

Are you going to use all of your points on the weekend or perhaps not??
 
not sure bren. i'm not going to try to. we'll see what it brings. i know that there is a trip with my friend to ikea in which apple cake must be had on thursday... so i'm going to have to try and point that up and to be honest that will probably be my treat for the week!!

Well i got home at 6.40pm from the doctors and it was about 7pm when I made the decision not to have my dinner due to the snacks I mentioned earlier and very happy as I'm not hungry and the full feeling is half gone, proving clearly that there was not need to eat.

Focusing on that feeling of skinny at the end of the day is really helping me to avoid eating or picking unnecessarily!

Lets hope i can continue this for the rest of my life.

Good evening!

well very pleased to report........................ 70.9 yay!!!!!!!! Lost 300 gms and hopefully this is me past my plateu. Fingers, toes and anything else i can are crossed that the scales keep on moving downwards. It's taken about 2 weeks uping and downing around the 71's and 70.7's!!!!

WELL TAKE IT ALL BACK.... had to go to the toilet and re weighed 70.6 so new all time low. And now that I mention it I haven't been in a few days so could really have been part of the source of the problem, might have been the slice of bread too (first piece in over 3 weeks).

So this has really perked my spirits and needed as yesterday the food devil was lurking in my head a little.
