Bren's Diary - The journey begins, again!

if you feel comfy in your clothes bren and you are exercising and toning then weight no longer matters. if you are the size you want to be, concentrate on that rather than the scales. i use the scales because i'm nowhere close to where i want to be and can't see the difference in my size quickly enough. but if you are the size you want to be (and if i remember you danced around in your skinny jeans so you are) then i would concentrate on that. do you still take your measurements? what do they say?

Abz I am in a size 12 jeans and the scales were kind to me this morning. You are right I shouldn't be concerned about the number now as much and I am looking forward to my holiday I am just going to do the gym at the hotel every other day just 30 mins of weights as we will be doing a lot of walking anyway.

I have even bought short short's in a size 12 to wear away! I also shared a cheese cake with hubby's yesterday. I feel confident that the weight will move before my birthday in July this is what my new goal will be when I return from school camp. Currently that will be 4.7kg's (11lb's). Still hoping to be in the 60's when we leave next Saturday night.

waist - 72.5cm
belly/hips - 88cm
left leg - 65.5cm
left arm - 29.5cm
bust - 93cm
 
Hey Missy, sorry not popped in much...have had a hectic week. I am with Abz in this one, as ur so close to where u wanna be I would just concentrate on how your clothes look and feel... I have friends who weigh more than me but look smaller! x

I've had a pretty good day and just off to the gym, 24 hours it is. Will post my food after as I want to know my cals for the day.

All done, only 40 mins but that's okay with me.

MY FOOD TODAY;

CD Porridge (yummy first time i've tried it!)
2 tempura prawns, 2 calamari curls, 2 mini brie and mushroom balls (we had tapas for lunch) and some rocket leaves and 1/4 of a pear
2 coffees
tuna and salad for dinner + 1 slice of pumpernickel bread
CD shake
180gm of grapes
140cal atkin's bar
100 yoghurt + 2 crakers
10 almonds
OH and 2 squares of chocolate.... oops forgot about this!
2.8 ltrs of water
1 glass of wine

Not all in this order by the way. Not bad for a Saturday I had an enjoyable day and didn't gorge or nibble too much.

Yeah maybe about 1200 cals perhaps??

Not bad. Might be off to bed soon though I' getting extremely tired.

Well it's definitely getting to the point that I dont want to know about the scales! This morning measurements are roughly the same; +.5cm's on the waist but -.5cm's on the hips/belly. The scales say I'm 71.2! only had 1 glass of wine yesterday, and drank about 2.8 ltrs of water I doubt it's fluid retention.

I feel comfortable a the moment. Not quite where I want to be though but happy enough to enjoy my holiday and I'm in a size 12. I'm not going to weigh I dont think until Tuesday like I originally planned and then again on Fri/Sat just before I go away. Some size 12's are fitting me easy others are not yet.

My goal when I get back will be to buckle down and get to 66/65 kilos by my birthday at the end of July, which will be very achievable. Just to keep me focused I am going to try on some of my holiday clothes and my bikini's to keep my in line!

Today has been an enjoyable Sunday but not really food wise.....

2 eggs scrambled with mozzarella cheese, 6 olives and some avocado + 2 crackers
1 home made banana muffin (cupcake size)
4 squares of Chocolate (all gone now so there will be no more of that!)
1 coffee
130g of tuna and a little mayo and 2 crackers
1/2 cup of deep fried corn kernals ( from a savoury nut shop.....bummed about this)
1 can of diet lemonade
1/2 a shortbread biscuit with hubby

2.6ltrs of water.

What do you think 1200 cals??
 
sounds about right bren. you have to let yourself go a little bit on weekends or you'd go mad, and this is one of the most tightly-reigned letting goes i've seen!! you're doing fabulously :D

can't wait to see your holiday pics :D

Yep I think it looks the same at then as it does now at the end of the day. So not bad really. I do feel quite fit at the moment which is good.

Not going to bother with the scales until Saturday morning and going to aim for a very good week food and exercise wise! Today was my day off but will do 250 sit ups before bed. Will be up late marking again.

you look bloody fantastic in that bikini photo.

oh. you know what. i was looking at my stomach in the mirror the other day thinking 'you know what, you'd look ok in a bikini, your shape is fine, it all just needs to get smaller'. i thought that was a bit of a breakthrough :D my legs need plenty of work though, but my middle is doing ok :)

Agree, my middle is okay. I know I have work to do if I have lower back fat and a line from back rolls. Currently a very little line and, thank god.... NO rolls. I have gotten rid of these.

My legs are a little better than in that pic and this week I am for leg weights and cardio. I think I will only do one session on arms.
