Bren's Diary - The journey begins, again!

Well I'm just about to re assess my goals and I think remove my ticker for a week or two??? Waist measurement is between 76 and 75.5 cm's..... so hoping after this week to be in the 74's quite quickly. Was planning to go on Cohen's or CD when I got back but thinking about just eating healthily and counting cals for 2 weeks just for a change, then see how I feel.

Camp was fun, exhausting and I am suffering from really really dry skin. Last night I got out on the town with a girlfriend and in a very sexy black dress, which I enjoyed wearing and also revelled int he fact those nasty red veins I had treated have literally vanished before my eye's!!!

Well, a day off today! Public Holiday!!!

I've eaten; museli and yoghurt with a kiwi and a drizzle of honey, and also did a 40 min walk before breakie. Then a big bowl of home made vege soup (very low cal about 100!) and a slice of rye bread (no butter). 1 carob coated crispbread, 2 decaf coffees and 2 crackers. Going to join a friend at the gym this evening and then have dinner at a local vegetarian resturant, so should be low cal for dinner.

Water.... well a big glass for breakie and 1.5 ltrs so far. So maybe a total of about 1.9 now and just going to aim for the 3 mark today.

Waist measured at 76 cm's this morning!! Not happy but feeling day 1 on healthy low cal eating is going well. Might have an apple in an hour or so.
 
Not happy about having to weigh that's all!

Worked out that I need to loose about 600gm a week to be 66 kilos by my birthday week. So hopefully just low cal and exercise will do it and there is 12 weeks so hopefully a 4 week stint of Cohen's will help with this. Wont be able to do this continuously until the 1st of June though due to hubby's bday and a wedding in the mix there.

am sure you'll get there bren :)

you are doing brilliantly. you can't do any more than you are doing. i think it's a really good idea to lose the last bit in a way that will be easier to adapt for long-term :)

Waist still 76cm's this morning and I wasn't game enough to weigh myself.

I've drunk no water today, except 1 cup of green tea! I've also eaten 3 Lindt Balls and 2 mini easter eggs!!.

Tofu and vege for dinner tonight I think. I have school work to do also so thinking that there might not be gym this evening! Although hubby is working late and went at late last night so hopefully I can get all my work done before he gets home, then go with him and then straight off to bed.

Bummer on the water though......

NOT HAPPY!

On top of the no water I have continued to eat;
protein bar 99 cals
and then another protein bar 219 cals
and then more Lindt balls
dinner - vege soup
a coffee
half a can of diet sprite
1 slice of bread with butter (with my soup)
1 slice of pita with peanut butter!!!!!

Not going to the gym but am just about to guzzle the green tea, do some sit ups and get up early for the gym in the morning.

Why did I do this!

Already made my food for tomorrow hoping for a better commitment!

Glad you had a good time at holiday and camp!

Know what you mean about trying to get back in the zone. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself though hun - you don't want to get caught in a yo-yo trap. I went away for a girlie weekend over Easter and put on 3lb, cut back on my cals just a little and got it down to 1lb gain at my official WI which was only a couple of days after I'd got back, then got that 1lb off the next week doing 1500cal. Was tempted to go back to 810 in a "OMG I've put on weight!" panic but glad I didn't as I reckon it would have set me off on a binge/starve cycle.

Thanks Serena, you have read my mind a little. You look fabulous now darling and should be very proud of yourself!

I'm going to get back into the water, I promise tomorrow and have a healthy eating day around the 1200 cals mark. Then Thursday and Friday at 1100 cals. Just some low cal and exercise. Inlaws next week visiting so will just aim for small portions of healthy eating and keep up the exercise.

Determined to post something more positive tomorrow. Thanks again.

hey there honey. sometimes we just have days like this. just draw a line under it as the naughty day before you totally get back in the groove, and then get on with it in the morning. you'll do brilliantly :)

WELL I'M UP AND DRINKING THE WATER AND HAVE EVEN BEEN TO THE GYM FOR 30 MINS OF MODERATE - HIGH CARDIO, INCLUDING 50 SIT UPS!

Although must admit I am already thinking about cheating! I know!!

Going to make a protein shake and drink this in the car on the way to work and keep my yoghurt for recess.

hi! glad you had a good time!

I've been away for a bit, it was my 21st bday last sunday I went bowling with my family, I'm meeting some friends out to dinner this weekend. I'm also going birmingham tomorrow *shopping* and then going to an interview for a florestry college course!
 
TRYER THE WATER YESTERDAY WAS GOOD 2.5LTRS I think!

food was good until I had 3 more Lindt Balls (there are 2 left and I am going to give them away this morning!), a choc coated shortbread and then we went out for dinner japanese ( fish and tofu, nothing deep fried) and finally when I was making lunches for tomorrow I nibbles and picked......!!

Anyway up now and going to have a shower and get ready for work. No gym this morning was sooo tired? and tonight catching up with a friend, we may have dinner out together. Wish me luck!

Water today was about 1.5ltrs, not good but okay I suppose. Calorie wise I think I got up to around 1350, high but could have been worse.
98 - protein bar
50 - honeydew
160 - tuna and salad
110 - 5x crackers
65 - grapes
220 - protein bar
40 - 1 coffee
100 - 3 decaf's
88 - slice of bread
160 - soup
80 - mozzarella
40 - butter
5 - diet sprite

TOTAL - 1216 but just had a few raisins so will stick to 1350. Oh and 4 mini choc eggs..... why did I do those!

No gym either. But going to watch a band and will be driving so no drinking. Will have to boogie my bum off.

How are you? I see you have set yourself a may goal it looks very achievable hun.

Just up this morning about about to go and weigh myself...... first time in 5 weeks or just over!
 
Well not as bad as one thought! Yay what a relief.

I think before Thailand I was about 71 kilos. I was really thinking that I could have been 73 or 74 as I feel my belly and thighs are bigger. I guess I just need to get back into the water and exercise. I felt pretty fit before holiday.

So my exercise plan is;
TODAY - 45 MINS GYM
SUN - 1HR GYM (MAYBE A SAUNA)
MON - 45MINS GYM
TUES - REST
WED - YOGA OR GYM
THURS - REST
FRI - 45 MIN GYM OR 1HR WALK

I also am aiming to be drinking 2 - 2.5 ltrs of water a day and consuming I think 1200 cals a day.

Well I went to the Football game today was very stressful and we lost by 4 points on the siren!

Anyway took my celery and carrot sticks and an apple. However I did have a wine...... Not worried about this and have only drunk about 1.5 of water and I'm trying to drink about 1 ltr of green tea this evening, it might end up being more than this though, cannot seem to get enough.

Best of all i have eaten very well today and calorie wise think i am on 1250 for the day. I also went to the gym this morning for about 35 mins and i also walked there and back so add another 10 mins. Oh and the 1 hour of house work.

Scales please be kind in the morning!
