My mouth doesn't taste funny after the 2nd or 3rd day of ketosis. Idk if that just means I get used to it or if it's because I drink enough to dilute it but it doesn't indicate a problem to me.

Aim for around 20g carbs per day mostly from vegetables - try spinach, cauliflower, courgette, asparagus, rhubarb (yes it's a vegetable) and salad leaves.

The funny taste is back but it's not too strong and hubby said y breath doesn't smell - not sure I believe him tho lol :-/

Oh and the jelly was amazing! It stopped me reaching for the mars bar my hubby was eating! Lol. Will try limit it to when just craving sweet things and not plan it into my regular menus! :)

Not looking forward to wk 2 or 3 where it stalls - guess will be best to not get on the scales every day then like I am doing now lol.
 
Today's WI - 10st 13 :) another 0.8 off.
Didn't hold my camera upside down but the pic is?! Eh???

Going to find today difficult as out shopping with 2 work friends. Meadowhall :)

Will be having lunch out :-/ want to aim for a salad with salmon or similar with splodge of mayo and then this evening have less carbs. Hope that's ok, I'm sure somewhere I read u can spread carbs out throughout the day?!

Anyway, if I STS when I pop on the scales tomorrow it will be worth it! :-D

Mfp works on calorie counting principles and doesn't take ketosis etc into account. 1600 sounds good to me.
 
What a busy day!! Left at 9:10 this morning and got back at 8:50pm!! Nearly 12 hours out and about!

Right so for food:

B - scrambled egg x 1
80g of cheese

L - was very hard as we were out an in the end I had to give in and let someone choose.
We went to wagamama and I got a beef salad - MFP worked it out at 15gs of carb :-/ not sure it was ok tbh.

Close zero

Soya late

T - baked salmon fillet with shrimps. A spoon of bousin (is this allowed?!)

That's it.

Had some water and coke zero but not enough so going to have a big pint of water and head off to be to read! (not like me! Lol)

Hoping tomorrow will be a better day food wise!!!
 
It's a STS for me this morning which I'm very happy with :) will e good today tho :) looking forward to baking the chicken, mayo and cheese together ( recipe from here!) :-D

B - prob scrambled eggs and cheese :)

Thanks :) I was happy as I thought that salad was too good! Lol

I ended up having some prawns (or are the shrimps?) with my breakfast. And Lancashire cheese which was lush for a change!!

Oh and before u all think my portions are huge it's on a side plate so I don't realise how small it is lol.

Aim of the day to drink my water than yesterday! :-D

Snacks on cheese through the afternoon as wasn't hungry really.

Just eaten salmon, prawns and mayo for late lunch.

Hubby was away last night and when he gets in tonight I think it will be take away - it might not be tho!!

If it is, possibilities for me are chicken tikka with salad if we get Indian, or chicken steak (in pitta but not to eat it!) with salad if we get from the pizza place! If we order from the mex-Italian place I could order the chicken wings with a salad :) yum yum.

If hubby doesn't want take away I will cook myself some peppered steak :) yum yum

Thanks :) not 100% sure it's allowed but it must be high protein!

We are going to have it tomorrow night anyway as I think hubby is a mixture of hung over and full from seaside goodies!! Lol :)
 
I think my tea will be the peppered beef steaks - might cut them into strips and add some veg - wish I had some spinach! that's would be nice!

Think I have some acceptable veg?! Will go look at the list again! Lol

Peppered beef, leeks, courgettes, onion and pepper stir fried.
Sauce - cream, cheese and bousin :)

Totally to die for!!

Scales have moved again :)
Expecting it to be much slower now tho.

Going out soon to visit a friend who had a baby recently, taking gifts and expecting cuddles :)

Have run out of eggs ggggrrrrhhhh
So prob just grab some cheese and water on the way out lol. What a random breakfast!!!

So food for today -

Cheese for breakfast. Lol.

Has a small serving of what I had for tea last night for my lunch as that's what we had in - left out the onions tho as I know I am to be careful with them! See pic.

Tea is just in the oven

Chicken breasts, ham, grated cheese, mushrooms and mayo mixed and baked! It smells yummy!! Hope it tastes as nice!

Got the idea from a recipe in here and a pre made chicken dish in asda! ;-) will update later!

My tea was amazing!! Seems like I am getting my appetite back now too - not sure if this is a good thing or not. Might just be because of a day without eggs!!

Anyway, I are 2 x chicken breasts as hubby wanted something else for tea so it was just sitting there - it was that nice I couldnt resist! Bet it is good with galic in too like the suggestion from here is!! ;-) pic below.

I have just finished off the jelly and cream as a sat night treat! See pics. What a sat night eh?! I am also staying in reading that trashy 50 shades of grey book - pure trash, but quite addictive!!

My dogs are strangely very needy tonight - maybe there is a storm coming??

Looking forward to my food over the next few days as now have 18 eggs and plenty of meat and cheese! Lol

I have some questions about moving from phase 1-2 but I am going to search here first before asking for help!! Lol
