Cambridge diet - 10 stone to lose

I meant to say well done too, i like ur planning ahead and seeing where u are. I'm debating starting Cambridge, got a 1-2-1 on Saturday so we shall see :) x

Just tried both juices, the apple and mango and the apple and raspberry, mmm really nice! Will certainly make drinking the water easier! I try to drink my water early on in the day, or at least most of it to get it out of the way!

I tried a few times to stick to exante but it didn't work, I just can't stick to things on my own, I don't know why! Some Cambridge consultants advise against drinking Coke Zero and squashes so I haven't told mine! Hope your 1-2-1 goes well, if you do switch to Cambridge just make sure that you get on with your consultant, I think that is very important x

Funnily enough I grew up with her! Haven't seen her for about 6/7 years and she's slimmed 6stone and looks amazing. Hopefully that's what will keep me going with her! I read somewhere about juices as long as low Cal and low Carb and citric free it was OK. I need to do something and I haven't stuck to Exante at all, I've wasted £100 effectively although an auction site might get rid of them and I can afford some Cambridge goodies then haha. How much have u lost so far then?x

Lol, yes i went for a consultant that had lost alot of weight, i felt like otherwise i wouldn't find it very motivating being with someone who had only lost a little bit of weight!!!

If I have lost 4lbs this week then I have lost 1 stone 2 (16lbs) in 3 weeks! :) Always lose more in the first month though, because your body is getting rid of rubbish and it is a shock to the system. After that you should lose around a stone a month x

Well u should give urself a pat on the back, that's awesome! Can't wait to have my consultation. I was scared in case i can't afford it one week and she said she's got a diet plan so if I really can't afford it one week as long as I follow that I should be OK. Excited muchly lol x

Thank you! Fingers crossed that you don't end up in the situation where you can't afford it one week. I was excited too, and also wanted to have my consultation immediately as soon as I called, not have to wait a couple of days lol! I can be very impatient!!! Lol!!! x

Hi Char , wow great to look at your goals there , I really need to rethink as not doing so good wont go into detail . So you PJs your fitting into them that's great too , hey can you blow some fairy dust my way need it . well done on your 4 off .
yes CDC don't like you to use coke zero , well some don't .
yeah , yes lewis is from Stevenage , he lived in shephall . i'm pin green there areas of steveange . so your big fan of F1 ?
You will feel amazing at the end .... what diet is your sister going on ?
I've not eaten much today but wrong food .
what have you had today Char ?

Hi, sorry you aren't doing so good, I will try to send some magic fairy dust your way lol. All day yesterday I was thinking about a chicken, mayonaise and onion baguette.. and a bacon sandwich in thick bread...

When it was actually time to weigh my body had magically lost another lb so I lost 5lbs, that puts me at 18.11.

I do like F1, I don't go out of my way to watch it. I like the super bike racing as well, would love to learn to ride a motorbike, another thing I always wanted to do but said I wouldn't unless I was a healthy weight.

My sister is doing exante this time at the moment lol!

Don't give up, you can do this!!!

Oh and yesterday I had apple and cinnamon porridge, peanut crunch bar, banana shake, can of coke zero and squash instead of water. I actually drunk over 3 litres yesterday!!

Hi Char , well its been busy today walked to town which is a good 45 mins then around town , my knees sore , went to take my daughter to the loo and they had full size mirror ho I didn't like the person looking back at me , I thought who is she , I don't know her .....
Today its been easier with it being warm , roll on this weather . I have some choc velvet frozen to eat , I find it so much better when its hot .
Hey that's great your weight has really come down ! the benefits will be rewarding .
Well had to get the hamster put down , took him out of cage massive growth , vet put it down , so daughter cried for few hours .... the cost of these vets ... my mate has had to take a loan out of 500 to get rid of a growth on her dog and they said theres another one , ho nooo . They said vets went up by 37% that's bad .
Char yes keep spinkling that dust lol
whats so your sister on exante , good but it does get bit much when you see two big boxes thinking well this is it for a month , bars are like rice crispes a bit . I liked them all .
your doing brill , hey yes thinking about a food like that its usaly bread with me too , its getting it out of your head and shaking it off and saying , yeah I bet them devil thoughts lol

Hi Char
Enjoyed reading your diary. You're doing really well especially having to dodge all the fast food! I started Cambridge today. 4 stone to lose...

Hey, well done for walking to town!!! I hate walking, when I was a child I was made to walk a good 6 miles a day. Yeah, I hate those moments where you see yourself in a full length mirror. Can't wait to not hate those moments!!

Sorry about the hamster, hope your daughter gets over the upset soon. I had to put my grandparents dogs down after they died - it was their wishes and truth be told they probably should have been put down a while before, they were really old and ill. When I phoned the vet to get a price I specifically asked a price for both and they had only quoted me for one so had to pay double the money. It was really expensive, I think nearly 200. This was back in 2006.

Hope you enjoyed your frozen choc velvet! My consultant gave me a tip about making ice lollies with the water flavouring. I haven't felt the need to do that yet, but if we get a summer then i might!!! I made banana mix a mousse yesterday, it was nice but it went a bit wrong so not as nice as it could have been. Yes, I know what you mean about getting those big exante boxes!! I do like the exante bars, shame cambridge ones aren't as big! Or that exante only do 2 flavours!! So far I think my favourite bars are the lemon yoghurt ones and the chocolate orange ones. I eat them so slowly and put such little bits in my mouth, to savour them and make them last a bit longer!!! I eat the mix a mousse and porridge really slowly and drink my shakes slowly lol.

As an adult the lowest size I remember being is a size 14 in clothes and a size 16 in jeans so I have this idea in my head that being in size 14 jeans will really be a landmark moment for me! I keep getting tempted to buy a size 14 jeans now ready for that moment.

Bread has always been a weakness for me, ever since I can remember. I know somebpeople who hardly eat bread and I think what do they eat then, lol! I can happily live on sandwiches. Being on my own as well although I can cook it feels a bit pointless messing all the pots, pans and the kitchen up just for me!!! I think when I start eating again at target I wont know what to eat first, my ideas keep changing! Definitely will have to fit a steak in, some nice sandwiches, a greggs sausage roll and a hot chocolate!! I have been invited to a 40th birthday on 15th December, will definitely enjoy that!!!

Yes sister on exante, I had about 1 and a half boxes of exante left so to save her some money I posted it to her, I did it on a 24hour parcelforce and with the weight, to send it to poole where she lives it cost me 20!!! She is paying me back for the postage, that was the deal! Managed just about to squeeze it all into one box, it was so heavy lugging it around!

I still feel like this is an incredibly long journey and tge end seems so far away, hopefully it will end up seeming quickly. I keep telling myself that 20 weeks left of not eating is nothing and that it takes double that amount of time to have a baby. Quite amazing when you think of it like that!!! I am going to Paris in October, to see my all time favourites Fleetwood Mac. (My 30th birthday present to myself) Couldn't get tickets for the UK. Will feel really strange being in Paris and not eating, sacrilege really but I at least want to try and take my shakes etc with me and stick to it. I am sure I will go to Paris again and then I can make up for it. I don't just want to go and blow my hard work and put myself back. It is hard enough to get through the first week and stick to not eating in the first place, don't ever want to have to put myself through that again. Hey, maybe if I am really lucky I will meet Mr. Right in Paris and live happily ever after there lol!!

Damn those thoughts of bread! Damn tv for showing food all the time as well, on programmes and adverts!!! Everything seems to revolve around food. Where is a cave to go hide in when you want it? Lol!!!

Hi forever, thank you!!! I wish you good luck and success on your journey. Have you ever attempted a vlcd before?

Yes I've done vlcd before but only lasted few weeks because I was training for marathon/triathlons so needed massive amounts of carbs. That was my mistake! Thus time I'm easing into exercise so I dong need high carbs.

You do any exercise? It's virtually impossible on vlcd. Maybe walking n swimming gently...

I am not really doing any exercise, it is not recommended on vlcd as you are on so few calories!!! I know I could do gentle walking but hate it. Would not attempt swimming, partly because of how I feel about myself and partly because every time I swim it really does make me so hungry and really saps my energy and obviously I can't really replace it on this diet. I will take up swimming again, once I am at my target and eating properly again. This year is about losing the weight for me, next year will be about giving up smoking, going back to the gym, toning up and taking up swimming again!!!

Feeling a little bit down as I don't seem to have lost any weight this week and I haven't cheated. I can't understand it. I have stuck to it 100%.

I keep dreaming about food and then wake up panicking that I have eaten and then realise it was just a dream. The other night I was dreaming that I ate chicken fajitas with sour cream and cheese, last night it was burgers with cheese, onions, ketchup and mustard sausages with cheese, onions, mayonaise and mustard and chips with mayonaise.

I was out all day yesterday, and was out in the evening as well. I was doing a workshop thing in the day and was a little bit worried about how I would cope. Had to have my porridge earlier than usual, didn't eat at lunch as I space my products out a bit so didn't have my shake until about 5.30pm and I had my bar at 10pm. Luckily nobody was eating anything that I liked at lunch which made it easier! I stuck to drinking my water and at lunch had my can of coke zero. Was offered tea and biscuits yesterday evening but said no. I actually wasn't that tempted by the biscuits!

Aww char, don't get down :-( when is your weigh in? Scales differ a lot (mine and my CDCs vary by 1/2 stone-unfortunately hers are higher, but I'm taking my loses from her scales and my weight from mine lol) if you stick to the diet you will lose. I have seen people on here losing 1lb one week and the 7-8lb the next :) x

Chin up Char, ur doin well. Hats off to u for surviving the workshop stuff and for bouncing the biscuits :)

Think a lot of people dream of food. Ul need to work on acquiring more exciting dreams!

If ur loss is low then so be it. It's all numbers. Less in means more off. It will drop off

X

Thanks guys, I weigh the same on my scales as my consultants. I just feel like if I am depriving myself of food then I at least want to get good results on the scales! I just feel like my consultant is going to say that you must have eaten something otherwise you would have lost weight, and I genuinely haven't!! I don't understand either because obviously I am on so few calories so how can it not work?
