caws diary

Thanks guys.

I put on 2 lb this week :sigh: so much for losing more before going away.

I'm going to Mazarron, Murcia for a week so when I come back I have got to get a grip and sort out my spare tyre !!
 
Well I'm back up to 14 stone :(

Talk about yoyo dieting :(

I'm wondering if I need to consider something drastic, like a TFR programme, and give it a go for say 6 weeks and see how I do.

I feel like a compulsive over eater at the moment :(

I know how you feel. What is a TFR programme? The trick is not to give up. At least we are conscious that we are struggling. I have not overeaten once in the past 5 days, and its because I am not "dieting" at the moment. Not sure if its the answer, but for the now it is working for me.

TFR is total food replacement like Lighterlife, Cambridge or Lipotrim. Drastic stuff I know and I'm umming and arhhing so will see how I go over the next couple of weeks.
 
There was a girl in our class back when I was in uni (which seems forever ago now) and she was doing the cambridge diet. I think she found it quite difficult. She would end up spending her breaks and lunchtimes in the library just cos being in the common room was too tempting for her with everyone eating in there. And you've still had an overall loss, Caws. So what if it's going slower than you thought (I intended to be 12 stone by mid July for graduation-that ain't gonna happen, though-I'm still over 18 stone!), but you're still losing it.
 
I'm just slightly despondant Kaitlyn (but not despondant enough to stop eating :cry:)

Another idea that I've had is to try slim fast. I bought 2 tins in January (when they were half price) and they've been sitting in my cupboard. I'm going to try that for a week and see how I get on with it.

I've had them today and am just having a dinner of chicken breast in a cheese sauce, caulifower, broccoli and peas and a stuffing ball. I'm allowed a 600 calorie meal and that only comes to 400 so I might share the potatoes that I was going to dish to my children.
 
I've pretty much stuck with the slimfast all week and have been really surprised how easy I've found it. Tesco's have got it on special offer at the moment (except my favourite, the banana) so I've bought another 2 tins and will keep it up for another 2 weeks at least.

I've allowed myself some chocolates that my daughter gave me (mis-shapes that she didn't like) and a piece of cheesecake with my nan but otherwise have been good when it comes to snacking.

Oh and I've been updating my ticker but not writing in my diary :)

Do you think that SF has spurred you on to do something like CD or LL or are you happy sticking with it?

That wasn't all in a week from slimfast. It's been over 3 weeks with 1 week on slimfast. Not that I'm complaining about anything !!

I wanted to see if I could stick to it as at £5ish a tin, which lasts a week, it's affordable (and at the moment they are 1/3 off at Tesco's) but LL and CD etc are expensive.

I know 2 people who have lost 5 stones on LL and obviously people like Hope who have done the same on CD but at the moment I'm going to carry on - my main problem is I stick to things for a week or two and then get bored. I need to carry on do/8/12 weeks to get some real results.

The half a stone I've lost I can really feel the difference - it's when I get down to 13 stone and need to carry on to 12 that I seem to stall and then put it back on again.

Well 2lb off this week.

Good job I did a weigh in Friday and not Monday. I've had a brilliant weekend - I went to Wembley yesterday to watch the League 2 play-offs and Gillingham scored in the last minute (my team) That did mean far too much alcohol last night and today when I picked my girls up they wanted a KFC. As I'm such a lovely mum (and am slightly hungover still !!) we had that for din, new day tomorrow ...
 
Wow haven't wrote in here for weeks !

I seriously feel like I've put on some weight. The difference between 13st and 14 st is amazing.

I need to get a grip and stop eating crap once and for all.

Let's hope I can.
 
Still eating crap.

Got exams this week and next week so I'm making excuses fo rmyself, which I shouldn't. I really need to make an effort (I keep saying it in the hope that I actually will !!)
 
Right I've had enough of myself now. I'll be back up to 15 stone before I know it and that can't happen.

Today I've had a protein drink for breakfast (wasn't hungry) and a ham and tomato baguette for lunch. Have got a prawn salad from Marks for tea (half is 160 cals so even if I have it all it won't be too much)

I need to make an effort to drink more water and I must get some exercise. One of the reason that I've gone to pot is because I cancelled my gym membership and I was finding it really difficult to go to step class and the gym while I was on placement.

I'm not going to rejoin but I'm going to try and go for a good walk at least 3 or 4 times a week or do some stuff on the WiiFit.

I need to halt the decline !!
