Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

It's quite sad in bits - it deals with bipolar and depression. It's handled beautifully tho and I absolutely loved it. I cried, laughed out loud, gasped, and grinned from ear to ear lol. Go see it :D

And also, go me for no cinema snacks! Mum got a chocolate twist from Costa

I've had to borrow a big cage for her to live in until I can mix her with Ralph. So she'll be living next to him till it can be done. The back of her cage is blocked off so the only way she can look is in to Ralph's run and a bit to the left, but can't see the other bunnies. Hope it works and they can be husband and wife soon enough :D

I went all-out with my course work today and finished the whole assignment! So today I have designed a handout on 'Animals in Pain' and just finished one about surgical postoperative care of the dog. And I did the life stages of a dog one the other day. I didn't expect I would put quite so much effort in and gave myself the week to do that. So, if I can really be bothered, I'll start the next one tomorrow. I'm definitely having the day off on Saturday tho!!
Quite pleased with myself :D
I emailed my work and the 'guidelines' to my friend who's a trainee vet nurse. She astounded by the awful quality of the course and the lack of support and guidelines for the written work. At least it's not just me being picky. It IS rubbish ;)

Friday: Have woken up feeling very odd today. It took me two hours to wake up properly, I feel exhausted, my head's all fuzzy and weird, got a killer of a headache, and I don't feel quite with it  Might drag myself over the shops in a bit to get some fresh air and just get out of the house.

An EE day today I think :)

Lunch: Jacket spud, Quorn ham, half a tin of beans, cheese, salad, beetroot, a few blobs of sauce and a drizzle of dressing. (half HexA + 0.5)

Tea: A tub of mushy pea curry from the freezer with mild curry rice and pineapple cottage cheese (0.five)

Snacks: Warm Weetabix with Hazelnut Milk and Splenda (HexB) A Ripple (8)

Drinks: Coffee. Diet Coke.

HexA: Cheese/Hazelnut milk
HexB: Weetabix
Syns used: 9
Syns saved: 17
Exercise: About an hour and a half of walking to, around, and from the shops. And arm exercises.

I found your diary, yay! Congrats on finishing the assignment :D!!

Sounds like you're getting a migraine? :( Hope you're feeling ok now! xxxx

You found me :D *waves*

I've never had a migraine before. I think it might just be tiredness, feeling gloomy, and leftovers of whatever bug I managed to pick up this time. Well, I hope it's that!

I took myself off to the shops and came back in an even worse mood lol! But I've had curry for tea and caught up with new Girl and How I Met Your Mother, so feeling a little more human. Need to take some more painkillers tho!

Saturday plan: I'm going in to town with the Mothership to hopefully finish my Christmas shopping :D We're gonna do breakfast at The Egg and then hit the shops. Should probably keep my eyes open for stuff for my holiday too. Still need a few bits and pieces, but not much :D

Green Day + 15 syns.
Brunch at The Egg: 2 normal Linda M sausages (are these 1 syn each or 1.5?), beans, scrambled egg, tomato, toast (have to remember to ask for it dry!), and sauce. So hopefully no more than 4 syns and a HexB :)

Tea: Mac and Cheese, 2 southern Fried Quorn Burgers, cheese, green beans, peas, carrots, and dressing. (Cheese & milk for HexA + 0.5 for dressing)

Snacks: Oaty Bar and a Blue Riband (HexB + 5)

Drinks: I predict muchos coffee! A regular soy milk hot chocolate with sugar free caramel at Cafe Nero (5.5 + HexA waaaaay more calories than a Costa hot choc, but so yummy!)

HexA: Soy milk + milk/cheese
HexB: Bread + Oaty Bar
Syns used: 22
Syns saved: 10
Exercise: Walking to and from bus stops and wrestling my way through town!

Hi

I don't know to be honest.. My weigh in is a wed and I tend to be good for a couple of days after and then the biscuit barrel wins. I have been keeping a food diary since my weigh and so far haven't gone over my syns. Fingers crossed I stay to plan this week :)

Hi

I don't know to be honest.. My weigh in is a wed and I tend to be good for a couple of days after and then the biscuit barrel wins. I have been keeping a food diary since my weigh and so far haven't gone over my syns. Fingers crossed I stay to plan this week :)

You can do it :D It just takes a while to get in to the swing of things. The 99cal biscuits like Blue Riband and Breakaway's are really handy if biscuits are your downfall. And if you're not veggie, those wafer things with the marshmallow in between are low syn and apparently really nice.x

Thanks for the tips, will get some tomorrow..... Watch this space, I am determined to stick to plan this week :)

Sunday: Urgh! Had such a bad night :( Was still awake at 4:30 with my heart hammering and every time I almost fell asleep I'd jolt awake. Ended up taking half a sleeping pill and getting a few hours of nightmare filled sleep. Yaaaay.... I almost cancelled my plans today and then thought f*ck it ;)

So I had a nice long shower a good lunch and then headed out to meet my friend Caz in town. We had hot chocolate and a catch up and then her husband got us in to the Bodies Revealed exhibition :) Nowhere near as good as Body Worlds (Gunther is a genius) but not bad. Then they came back to mine for a cup of tea and a snuggle with the dogs lol.
Looks like I've done a 100% week :D
So, today's food...

A Green day with 15 syns.

Lunch: 2 Linda M sausages, half a tin of beans, a boiled egg, crispy potatoes, wholemeal toast, and bbq sauce. (HexB + 1)

At Costa: A medium soy milk hot chocolate with 'frosted mint' syrup (doesn't come in sugar free *sulk*) I've given 5 syns and a HexA to this.

Tea: Homemade roasted veg ratatouille with Quorn meatballs & ham, wholemeal spaghetti, cheese, salad, beetroot, and dressing. I have some pineapple cottage cheese to use up but realised after a few forkfuls it just did not go! (HexB for cheese + 0.5)

Snack: 2 hotel Chocolat chocs and a bag of Reese's Pieces (16.5)

Drinks: Coffee. Squash. Diet Lemonade.

HexA: Soy milk
HexB: Bread + cheese
Syns used: 23
Syns left this week: 2
Exercise: Walking to the bus stop and through town. Arm exercises.

100% week :D

Monday: New week with a pizza party and Christmas fayre at the end ;)
I had my heart checkup today and all is well. Had an ECG, blood pressure & pulsox, Echo (ultrasound), and chest xrays. Spoke to the consultant and he examined me as well and said he's really happy with how I'm doing, esp as I've pretty much come off my asthma meds. He didn't mention my weight, BUT no one called me fat or said I was overweight. I'm still medically overweight, but it was sooooo nice not to have it brought up! I did, however, get asked by several people if I was planning on becoming pregnant. I know it's very important, but I have a 'thing' about pregnancy that I wont go in to ;) I mentioned my numb fingers and painful toes when it's cold and he reckons it's something called Raynauds Syndrome...the joy! So I have that to deal with. BUT at least I know it's not because of my heart, it's just a weird issue with some blood vessels. It only effects my middle and ring fingers and the corresponding toes. Bizarre! But yeah, heart is good. I won't go in to detail in case anyone's squeamish. But I'm happy to talk about it if anyone's as nosey as I am about medical stuff ;)
After the hospital me and my Sister did a bit of food and Xmas shopping. We watched the end of Abduction with dinner coz she fell asleep last night. Then we watched 21 Jump Street, which I was really surprised at how much I liked. Netflix is awesome! Then we went back out and I bought Magic Mike lol!

Extra Easy + 10

Lunch: Jacket spud, half a tin of spaghetti, 2 burgers, cheese, salad, beetroot, and bbq sauce. (half HexA + 3)

Tea: The rest of the ratatouille I made yesterday with Quorn mince, tagliatelle, cheese, and a microwave veg bag: peas, sweetcorn, and carrots. (rest of the HexA)

Snack: Banana and toffee Activia Snack Pot with 2 crumbled Toffee & chocolate Alpen Lights. Finally found some Alpen Lights in a cheap shop!!

Drinks: Coffee. Diet Coke. Spiced Winter Red tea.

HexA: Cheese
HexB: Alpen Lights
Syns used: 3
Syns saved: 7
Exercise: Walking around the shops and arm exercises. Going to push ups from kneeling instead, coz I read that more reps from that level makes arms more defined and toned, whereas the 'mens' way of doing it builds muscle. Don't fancy muscley arms!! So doing 15 of them for now and now 15 tricep dips :) Will strengthen my chest and shoulder muscles too, which I really do need!

My Mum and Sister shared a tear and share garlic bread and mini calzones with their tea and then had apple pie and custard for dessert! I had none of it!! :innocent0002: But also  Lol!
But I'm determined to be good and save up as many syns as possible for Fri and Sat :) I will be good. I will be good. I will be good......
