Cheekychinchilla's food and stuff

I think they'd laugh me out of A&E. There's nothing they can treat me for really - maybe the vertigo. But I've trialled vertigo meds and they did bugger all. I wouldn't be seen as an emergency I wouldn't think.
Maybe, like you said, the heart stuff. But I had an ECG and chest X-ray last week and not heard anything since, so I assume (unsurprisingly) they found nothing. I'm seeing my Dr on Tuesday anyway so will update him on the newest crap.

Oh B, don't get me started on Thyroid. I am still convinced it's my Thyroid and have been all along. It's why I originally made the step of starting this insane journey.
I have a massive phobia of having blood take and refused it for over 15 years. But I knew that I would have to do it, so it was a HUGE step. I have to be sedated, but I'll go. Have had 7 now (although on 2 they couldn't get anything out of me) The one on Tuesday was horrific. I mean it went much better than I thought it was, but the shear amount they wanted off me has left me with some serious anxiety. Even now!
I pushed that it was thyroid and in one of the consultations the GP I was seeing snapped at me and said "It is NOT your thyroid". Despite my TSH going from 4.7 to 6.0 in less than 2 months and my symptoms getting much worse within that time.
At referral the Dr said I completely fit with an underactive thyroid, but the bloods weren't quite right. My free T4 is relatively normal.
Would be interesting to know what my TSH was on Tuesday considering I'm even WORSE than I was a month ago.

Just fed up mate. Really fed up!

I was doing ok today. My anxiety wasn't so bad last night. I still took half a sleeping pill, but my heart wasn't too loud and I think I feel asleep quite quickly and only woke up a few times. I must have been awake about 5mins by the time I woke up properly before it kicked off tho.

My Sister was really nice and drove me to Asda today so I could do some shopping. God it's awful relying on people to drive me round! Haven't driven myself since sat :(
When I got home I chucked some veg in the oven so I could make roasted veg ratatouille for tea, fed & cleaned the bunnies, and de-poo'd half of the garden.
Think I've over done it though coz I'm really jittery now. And my head is really painful and heavy.
Smacked my teeth on my mug before coz my hands were shaking so much. Ouch!!!

Food today:

Lunch: Tin of ravioli, lots of cheese, big side salad with cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and peppers. Wholemeal toast. And a bit of dressing.

Tea: Roasted veg ratatouille, Quorn pieces, pasta, and steamed broccoli. Cheese and dressing.

Blimey!! Well done for getting the bloods done though, it must have been so difficult with your fear of it. When are you getting Tuesdays results? Hope they can shed more light!!!

On bright side, your food is looking great!! Well done! Take it easy and sleep well x

Sorry to hear you're still feeling crap, I'm glad you got some sleep though probably needed it. You probably have overdone it, put your feet up and have a chill evening.
You're doing well with your food :) x x

B I wont hear anything about the results unless they find anything. They were done at the hospital through the referral, not my GP. So I don't have to go 'get' my results, they'll be sent straight to the referral Doctor. She said they won't get in touch with me unless any of the tests show up something. Not holding out much hope tbh. Coz if it IS my thyroid there's a good chance my blood results wont show up what they WANT to see. Doesn't seem to matter that I have ALL of the symptoms of hypothyroidism.
I've shown my list of symptoms to both GP's I've seen as well as the referral Dr (she kept them in my file) It's an A4 piece of paper with every single line filled in

I promise Tace I am having a relaxed evening. Not long had my tea and just watching some TV and texting my friends.
Mum will probably go to bed soon so I'll try and find something less crap than the film I watched on Netflix last night and have a little snack/treat. Within syns, of course ;)

I think yday I had all my HexB's and one HexA and 3.5 syns.

Today will be all my Hex's and so far I've had 2.5 syns. So will have something to boost them a little.

Going out for at least cake tomorrow and possibly either lunch or tea, so not completely good ;) xx

I really liked Les Mis! Saw it twice at the cinema :)

My friends just bought a house and it's finally built and you can go in and stuff. And it's right round the corner from a posh garden centre that does amazing food! So, there :D This will be the first time I've seen there house (my 2nd home ;)) :D x

Hey guys!
How's everyone's weekend going?
I had a half naughty day yesterday lol!

We didn't end up going out for lunch so I had 2 boiled eggs, 2 synned Quorn sausages, wholemeal toast and some sauce.

I did have a MAHOOSIVE slice of chocolate cake at the garden centre. I don't often go for chocolate any more, but it looked SO good! It was ;)
We sat out in the sun for quite a bit, which I wasn't expecting, so got a bit of sunburn around my neck and on one arm  I'm a bit annoyed because I'm so careful in the sun and wear factor 30 in this country! Luckily my face moisturiser has a bit of sun protection in (factor 15 I think) But I hadn't expected us to sit outside.
I had to ask to leave though coz I was so hot and it was making my head very heavy and painful and I was starting to panic that I was going to pass out :( We went back inside for a slow walk round where it was cooler. Found some vegan sweeties :D And turned down the offer of cake to take home from Mum.

We went to my friends new house and it is beautiful! They only got the keys last week so are still laying floors and stuff - only finished being built about 2 weeks ago! They've gone for a one bedroom, upside down town house. It is quite small, but bigger than I was expecting. I love it though :D
I think my favourite bit was the upstairs decking. There'll be plenty of wine and whisky drinking sitting up there I reckon ;)

They brought us home - I couldn't drive again yday :( And Mum had bought a fancy burger from the butchers so I had 2 veggie burgers, on a wholemeal bun each , cheese, and pickles. With a little portion of oven chips, and a big side salad with tomatoes and cucumber. Oh and 'fried' onions!! Who doesn't love fried onions?!

But then I ruined it further with a couple of Lotus biscuits and a Boost  Eeejit! But never mind...

Not sure what I'm doing today. Slept until just after 1 but kept dozing off. Think I got up about 2. My head was killing me so I've washed my hair and that helped a bit. Feel like straightening it today - first time since I had it cut and coloured! Just couldn't be a*sed and had it curly all the time. Tbf it looks really nice curly coz the 3 colours wind round each other :)

Might be either going out for a cheap tea with Mum or getting something to eat at home and watch films. Not sure I feel up to eating out and might actually prefer to stick a couple of films on. We'll see though.

Anyway, that was quite a long update lol. Hope everyone's doing ok.xx

Ps. B, that is definitely one of my favourite films! The line "Keep it in the family" makes me snort-laugh every time ;) x

Hey you!
Sorry I've been a bit AWOL recently, haven't been in town 'n stuff.

Caught up a few days back now- that head stuff sounds horrible :( G gets stuff like that too sometimes where his heart pounds really hard and he feels like he'll pass out from it, it's really scary!
Take it still haven't heard back from all those tests?

Saw World War Z today and really liked it :D found it funny that they didn't at all reference that Zombie's could swim etc, G was like "Couldn't they just hide on an island or something?" and felt like Brad could have used the paper to write "buzz the phone once for yes and twice for no" re: the vials at the end :p lol, guess that would have killed suspense and been a bit boring, but you'd think when not under time pressure and facing a life or death situation he'd have thought about it more, no? :p

I liked it a lot though!

How are you feeling this weekend? Has the heart stuff calmed down? x

Hey matey!
Good to see you. I did read your diary and see that you were away.

Glad you liked the film. I did too mostly. Just had to understand that literally JUST the title is affiliated to the book lol.

My heart's never done this before, so I know it's not normal for me. And it's only been happening since I got ill. So I KNOW it isn't actually my heart. Could be stress/anxiety, but I also know it's a thyroid symptom.

Nope, not heard anything at all from the hospital. I didn't expect to really. But did kinda hope they would find something on my blood work, just so that they could treat me!
Not had any new appointments through either, so still waiting for the head and abdomen scan appointments  Everything else is the week before I go back to see the referral Dr. Fed up now, even more than I was!x

Hey guys!
How was everyone's weekend? Everyone survive the heat?!

Sorry I've been away, didn't think you needed to hear me whine some more and feel guilty about the ice cream and white bread I've eaten :p

My Mum and Sister (and her boyfriend) have gone away to Wales until Friday. I has the house to myself. Huzzah!!! Mum was worried about leaving me, but told her if anything drastic were to happen they're only an hour away. Besides, will be nice to have some space and quiet!
Two work friends came to visit me today and brought a bunch of flowers each :D Nice and cheery and smell lovely *piles in the antihistamines* ;) They only stayed for a bit, but I'm knackered! Lame...

Decided to try and build my bedside cabinet and got as far as taking a few things out of the box and the instructions and putting most of it back in. It's far too heavy and definitely a 2 person job :( Plus I have bunny fairy lights above my bed I use instead of a bedside lamp - they burnt out last night  so will have to pinch someone's lamp until I find one I like.

Didn't get to see potential boyfriend last week coz I was so ill. But seen as everyone's away I've invited him round on Wednesday. We're going to go to the cinema, I'm making tea, and he's staying over. Eeek! I've promised cake as he loves cake but always sticks to chocolate, so might go get a nice carrot cake or something :) And I have Ben and Jerry's vouchers from Bzzz Agent, so will get some of that! But thinking of making roasted veg ratatouille, 'meatballs', and spaghetti with a nice side salad.
He turned veggie last year and has never tried quorn. So that will be interesting!

Trying to stay on plan until I have cake on Wednesday lol. so will keep a food diary till then :)

Monday food:

Lunch: 2 Weetabix, banana, 2tsp maple syrup, and Kara milk (part HexA1, HexB1, + 1)

Tea: Sausage casserole :D Quorn sausages, red onion, peppers, green beans, carrots, mixed beans, and sweetcorn with tomatoes and herbs and seasoning crap ;) (2 syns per portion for sausages)
Cheesy Smash and a couple of roasted new potatoes. Om nom!! Oh and some salad if I have any.

Snacks: 2 Alpens and an Activia (HexB2)
6 Mikado (3)

Drinks: Coffee. Squash. Coke Zero. Highlights made with Kara milk (rest of HexA1 + 2)

Syns used: 8
Syns saved: 7

Will try and keep below 10 syns a day and save up towards the cake and ice cream on Wednesday. But if I want something snacky and it's at least in syns it's not so bad I guess. Will see :) x

Sorry to hear you're still poorly :(
It will be nice to have some time to yourself so you can do exactly what you want. Ooooo your fella a veggie too, that's another thing in common :) I hope you have a good time on wednesday.
And that was really sweet of your work colleagues x x

I don't think I'll get any better until they start to fix me :( Although I have readjusted to new crappiness and new annoying symptom, so coping a little better.

Was lovely to see my friends today. And my flowers are lovely :D

Yup, he is veggie. But newly veggie so you never know lol. Tbh people eating meat doesn't bother me at all, but it is kinda nice he is a veggie too :)

This afternoon I've watched an episode of Breaking Bad, 1 of Archer, Red Eye, the musical ep of Buffy, and now This Means War :) TV and house ALL to myself!! ;) xx

Potential bofriend (LOL'd) staying over :O ooh lala! Cool that he is a veggie... Makes thigs easy when they dont crave meat which you dont want to cook :D have you shown him all your pets yet? Not that it is relevent to the previous statement *ahem*

Yeah, Z was so stupidly unrelated to the book but I had several rants about that before hand and got over it. G was unimpressed by how sensored all the gore was. I was just grateful we didnt have to see the hand get chopped off, that bit was the scariest for me actually... The idea of someone losing a limb... I would personally opt for Zombie over that :D
Also, didnt they call them Zack in the book? Zeek... Not quite... Lol

YAY!!! I got a call from the referral Dr and they want me back next week! I don't have to wait till August!!

She said it's nothing to worry about (they have to say that. I have to say that all the time :p) but they want to talk over some stuff, chase up tests I've not had done/appointments yet, and she said hopefully get to the bottom of it :)

I'm a little worried but more relieved. Whatever they find it'll probably be at least manageable and I can cope with that! Just want to feel better!!

Off to see my own Dr in a bit and get a new sick note. You never know, might be the last one :D

A bit nuts, but actually pretty happy!!

It really doesn't bother me if someone eats meat and I sometimes have to cook meat for Mum. But yeah, I wouldn't want to do it all the time! Odd that he's never tried Quorn, hopefully he'll like it. My friend who HATES veg loves my cooking and she said the Meatballs and spaghetti I do is her favourite meal. And that Quorn meatballs are nicer than Ikea's  I doubt that lol.
So far he's met the dogs and Mr Frog. Might take him out to meet the bunnies :) And I feed the chinchilla's on the way to bed so he might see them. They're messy ******* tho ;)

Haha well i guess he is a potential. Been watching Buffy recently so calling him a potential makes me giggle :p

Yeah, not one single bit of the book was in the film. Did you notice the bit at the army base that was burned to a crisp was almost hinting at the start of the book? Dr in a remote village, someone chained to the bed, etc... But that was seriously it!!
I don't understand! Why buy the rights to a book and not use the story?!

I really hope so :) Trying to not think about it potentially being something bad. But I'm sure it's likely to be something manageable anyway. Hopefully....

Had a busy afternoon really!

Decided, stupidly, to walk to my Dr's appointment. On a good day it takes me 15-20mins each way. It took me 30mins today  Ended up a sweaty, jelly like mess, with the most horrific headache. But I did it :)
My Dr was really nice when I told him about the issues I was having with my heart. He listened to it and took my blood pressure - still on the low end of normal. But everything was ok. We decided it was probably anxiety caused by all the stress, as well as it possibly being a symptom of mystery illness. We talked about whether to give me diazapam for the nights or to take a whole sleeping tablet instead of the half I've been taking. He said diazapam is more effective, but it has a longer half life and will accumulate in my system and would make me constantly dopey after a few days. Whereas the sleeping pills wear off more quickly and don't 'build up'. so going with the sleeping pills for now and will see how I go.
I will no doubt have super anxiety leading up to the appointment next week, even though I am pleased and kinda relieved. But, you can't help it can you?! So hopefully these will help get me some proper sleep. I hate taking pills .... which he knows lol.
I also fought him on my sick note and just got two weeks. So that'll last me a few days past seeing the referral Dr next week. I know I wont get an instant cure, but I might have a better idea or at least more of a plan. Will see :)

I came home and put some washing out and de-poo'd the garden. Fed the doggies and then went over to Morrison's for the stuff I need for date night dinner. Eeek! Got a few bits for me too and some bargain veg for the animals - a big tub of tomatoes and a bag of spring greens for 25p each :D some good bargains actually and I used my Ben and Jerry's voucher to get 50p of a Core Sundae - which were on offer anyway! And the nice check-out lady gave me a voucher to use straight away to get £1.25 off my shopping :D

Tim text me just before I'd left to see if I wanted to go to the cinema. And by the time I got home, put my shopping away, and sorted the bunnies I had to leave. So inhaled an Activia and took a Chewy Delight with me :) NO PICK AND MIX !!!!!! :D

Got home and had a nice tea and made the ratatouille for tomorrow's tea. It's nice if it sits in the pan overnight :) Hope he likes it!!

Just watched an ep of Breaking Bad. On to season 4 now! Going to wipe down the sideboards and hob in the kitchen and head to bed to read for a bit.
Food to follow...
