Well I didn't get my lie-in! Couldn't get to sleep for ages, got woken up AGAIN by people being loud, then was up at 9:30 coz my Sister asked me to take her for an x-ray. She's really hurt her hand and it's really painful and swollen. She went to the walk-in centre on Thursday and was fobbed off, but luckily already had a GP appointment for yesterday afternoon and they gave her a slip to go get an x-ray. I couldn't go in with her - snooty staff!! But she was sent away with no treatment or anything, but told her Dr may want to talk about something and she should call them next week. WTF?!
Anyway, we went to Asda to grab a few bits then back to ours. I told her more about what happened with John and explained some stuff. She got pretty annoyed! I sent her the 'angry' email too and she said I totally should have sent that :p
Her John came round for a bit and then they buggered off to his. So I had my lunch and then went out to the bunnies. Just as I was going outside a massive storm started! Really heavy rain, thunder, and lightening. I was in the garage with the bunnies but the dogs were on the couch looking out of the window at me like  Lol! A good job the bunnies live in the garage or they may have floated away lol.

I decided to do some more work too and did 700 words over an hour. This assignment is a hard slog! I'm already at 2,700 words and there's still a couple of sections to go!! This course is SO badly written and there are bugger all guidelines on word counts or anything like that. Drives me nuts! But at least I got a bit more done. Hopefully after this one's done I might get things moving a bit more quickly. It's rubbish getting stuck on a difficult, boring assignment *yawn*

Mum's out tonight with work so think I'm going to make my tea and stick a film on. Try and relax a bit :) Really need to get a decent sleep tonight seen as I'm driving to Bradford and back tomorrow!! Looking forward to seeing my friend though and hope she likes the kind of surprise party! All I said to her is "Would you like a couple of visitors?" So she doesn't know my Mum and friend are going or that we've got party food and stuff :bday:

If you do a little bit of work often you'll soon get through it. Just do what you can when you can :)
We had some thunder this evening but it wasn't anything major, I love a good thunder storm. It has poured down most of the night and day though.
So you'll be over this side of the pennines tomorrow I hope you have a good journey over the tops and I hope the surprise goes well and you all have a good day x x

Aye I hope so mate. It feels like an absolute mountain of work. But 30mins or an hour at a time at the moment is all I can cope with, so that's what I'll do :)
Glad I got another 700 words done today. But can't believe I'm at like 2,700 words with more to go

This was a right old, proper storm! Thunder, lightening, torrential rain, wind, everything. Was dead good :D Some of the best storms I've ever seen were in Bulgaria. Better than Mexico! I do like a good storm.

Oh no, don't mention hills! Lol. If you see someone in a small, silver Peugeot going 20mph up a hill, that'll be me :p I'm really hoping it goes well too lol! I know I'll be knackered, but will totally be worth it.xx

I've got 2 steep hills tomorrow, a 1:17 and a 1:20, in fact one of them you get to the top and the road disappears :/ The first time I went over it I screamed lol. I'm sure you'll be just fine the pennines are not that bad x x

700 words in an hour is a very good effort! Hope the rest of t flies by...

We are expecting a really hefty storm/hurricane down south tomorrow here, must be heading down from you guys!

Shame that doctors are being so pathetic with your sis too.
Are there not more medicines you could try syptomatically for the sickness and stuff? Any luck with the travel bands? I used to use them as a kid.
X

The drive up yesterday wasn't too bad. Coming back was horrific! Just as we got on to the motorway, around 7:30 a storm hit! Crazy torrential rain, very strong winds, there were wind and speed warnings everywhere, no lorries were on the roads at all, and you couldn't see a thing for the spray. Saw quite a lot of cars aquaplaning as well! Proper scary sh*t  Think I did alright though. I didn't panic too much and think I handled it ok. Poor little car was really battling against the wind. Was SO hard to keep in the lanes, the wind was really that bad.
We stopped at Ikea on the way back and when we got out it had stopped raining.

There is a massive storm heading to the whole of the UK tomorrow. All sorts of insane weather warnings going up!! Eeeeek!!

Apart from the driving I had a really nice day yesterday. I was really quite ill though and I don't think the tiredness helped me out at all. Got very dizzy and 'out of it' after eating our party lunch. It really sucks getting dizzy from eating!

I'm not taking any anti-sickness meds, I'd have to ok them with the Dr's. But I wear the sickness bands when I'm really bad. They do work, but only take the edge off. A bit like the migraine meds. They lift the 'fog' but don't take away any of the symptoms. Some of my headaches have been more acute since taking those, so will have to watch that!! Don't wanna give myself a brain anurism as well

But yeah, crappy weather and sickness aside I think we all had a really good day!

Have been out with my Sister and her Mr today. We went to Costco for Sunday lunch pizza lol. I'd never been before so John asked if I'd like to go with them :) Then we went to see Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 - which is just as good second time round. I bought some cheap pic & mix in Ikea last night so took them with me.

Not a good weekend food wise, but not too worried considering how good I was this week. And back to it tomorrow :)

Hope everyone's had a nice weekend.xx

Oh dear, the tops are not a nice place to be when the weather isn't good, I've been up there in all sorts of weather, snow has to be the worst. Gald you're ok, it can be quite daunting driving it unfairable conditions. It was quite windy up there tonight.
Glad you had a good day :) And I think if you're on plan most of the time you should be able to enjoy some naughtiness.

Not bad considering I've only had my licence just 12 months. Quite proud of myself :) I've done some driving this year lol!
What you were saying about driving over the crest of a big hill to a disappearing road, I had that quite a few times in Wiltshire/Somerset. There was quite a bit of swearing, till I got used to it, then there were lots of "Weeeeeee!!"'s LOL!

Just need to say. Holy crap Tetris!! Just spotted your newly updated signature  What a difference a year makes huh?! You have done so incredibly well. Very proud of you.xx

Driving in the storm sounds scary! Adrenine rush? Lol
Thanks (again) re: pics! Surreal... Haha. Amazng how sudden the switch was between feeling the difference... I swear it wasnt until my 4.5st award that I even noticed ANYTHING...!

An adrenaline rush would have been alright if I didn't have all the other hormones racing round that I don't need! Just made me panicky and gave me a massive pressure headache. I did get quite a few heart palpitations and missed beats too. That's kinda normal for me, but this was quite bad!
Had to wear my glasses as well coz I was so fuzzy! Mostly from stress, but I was already really tired and I'd had quite an ill day.
But I did it and didn't kill us all :p

Sometimes I can see a difference in me, but really struggling this year. Obv when I look at my weightloss pics I can SEE a difference on them, but can't really see it in real life. If that makes sense?!
But you look amazing mate and you should be very proud :D xx

Hey Tace!
Not a brilliant day, I have to say. Was really hoping to get a decent sleep but didn't. Woke up while Mum was getting ready for work, about 8am. Woke up at 9 when next door started to have their windows replaced, managed to drift off and woken up at 10 by a delivery, then again at 11, then I gave up. I am SO tired!!!

Before lunch I typed out some info for Oddsock coz she's helping me with something - thanks dude :D Had lunch and watched Neighbours. Then talked myself in to doing just over an hour of coursework! I've had enough of the radiography legislation assignment.... Managed to find some info on a word count, but it just said it had to be over 500 words. I've written over 3,500.... So at least I wont lose points for being under lol! How anyone could just write 500 words on these subjects AND pass it is beyond me.
So I think I've covered most of it and have sent it to my mentor to look at. They want some pictures and things (God, I'm not 6!) but I'm not going to 'pretty it up' until my mentor's seen it. I've literally said "Pleeeeaaaaase say it's good enough" lol. So at least that's kinda done and I can move on to something else. I can seriously knock out an assignment in 2 or 3 days when I put my mind to it and feel ok, so hopefully if this one's mostly done I can get some other bits out of the way. Fingers and toes crossed!

I treated myself to watching Avengers Assemble after I'd done the work :)

Have booked tickets to the Thor 1 & 2 double tomorrow night at Cineworld with my friend. I'm a bit worried about going because they're both 3D (my friend gave me 3D to 2D glasses to try :)) and Thor 2 is a midnight showing, so not going to finish till after 2am. And I'll be driving, obv. Hmmmm.... The plan is to go and see how we both feel. We both have Cineworld cards so technically all we've had to pay for is the 3D uplift, £1.50. So if either of us need to bale we wont lose anything and we can go see it another day. I'm sure it will be fine, but can't help worrying. You know what I'm like :p

Just catching up with The Wright Stuff and ranting at the tv! Probably watch an ep of Under The Dome with Mum before she goes to bed. Tis good that you know!
Not awake enough to watch another film, but might fit in an ep of The Killing before I head to bed.xx

Sorry to hear yet another night's poor sleep :( I'd rather have no sleep than disturbed sleep.
Well done on getting stuck into some course work, sounds like you've got your head into it now :)
Hope you have a good time tomorrow night at the piccies x x

Me too mate! I wake up so panicked when stuff like this happens. My symptoms have been all over the place today too. The only way I can describe it ias that they're all there, just bubbling above the surface, but not quite coming out properly. Plus, I'm so TIRED!!!!

I've just had a look through the course schedule and that assignment was the last one of this section I can do without being in work - the others are case studies. So what's left of this section is a few lectures (not many left I don't think), I can look at the practical assessments and work out what they want, and then exam studying. Think I'll spend the rest of this week on this section. I will need to re-revise before stuff anyway, my memory is shocking! But might as well do it now and then again in the future.
Then next week I can move on to the final section. Which is all sort of clerical based *weeps* Like reception, general health and safety, manual handling, filing, reception, etc.. all that b*llox! I'm dreading that bit! At least sections 1 and 2 were about animal care and health! This one makes me sad lol....

Did about 45mins of looking through the course layout and reading some lectures. STILL not looked at section 3. I don't wanna :p Everyone hates section 3 lol!
But yeah, section 2 all the way this week. Will read, re-read, and cross-reference :) Feel quite good about it!

Meant to say. My Sister suggested having a little Halloween party on Thursday - just for the 3 of us. So going to save syns towards that this week :) Rachelle's bought us something to watch and has put away some decorations in work (in the hope they get reduced!), and we're all going to chip in for some party/picnic foodz :D Should be good!
I have no plans other than cinema trips, so think this week should be fairly good foodwise. Even with Thursday! Coz I'll save up syns for that and then start again on Friday.

Right, going to make a snack and watch an ep of The Killing. Night all.xx

Awesome that you are gettig some corse work done- probably great for your morale to be having somethig to focus on that is going to afvance you through the course later too!
G is thinking about going for that Thor double bill too, I didnt like the first one much so dont really want to see it again lol  shame as I love Nat P!
How long have you had your cineworld card? After a year you get a black platinum card which gives you free 3D films too :D

Halloween mini party will be fun! I'm (supposably) having a get together at mine for a dress up poker night on fri but am a bit stressed as it isnt massively close friends so feel I need to tidy the house and have food ready etc :/ so much editing to do though!

I do feel better about getting some work done. I will continue to moan about it endlessly, because it is such a bad course :p But yeah, I'm glad things are moving along again and I feel like I'm doing something important for me! Can't believe I didn't touch the course once after I started seeing John! Energy was taken up with stress I think. Plus I was trying to cope with being sick and all the new symptoms I had. Hope my boss/tutor understand why I had such a break from it?!
I think it was a bit much to say to me "You should know the course inside and out by the time you come back" It keeps playing on my mind. Need to put that aside and just do what I can when I can :)

Thor's my favourite superhero so far! Closely followed by Deadpool - although I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate being called a superhero :p I'll watch all Marvel and DC films anyway, but particularly excited about Thor. I've managed to only see the trailer once!!

Got a bit more sleep last night, but not much more! Builders were back next door from about 9 and I was waking up every 15/30mins. SO TIRED!!!!!! I think they're just getting their windows replaced, so hoping they'll be done today coz I will so need a lie-in tomorrow. Won't get back from the cinema till around 3am :sigh: So must, must sleep!

I should get my shiny black Cineworld card in January :D I tend to not bother with 3D anyway, unless the showings times fit better or it's only been released in 3D. But this year it's made me SO ill! I'm really worried about tonight because even a high-action film in 2D makes me almost pass out. And these are both in 3D. Might watch the first one with the 2D glasses, coz I originally saw that on IMAX so have seen it in 3D. And then try the 3D of the new one and I can always swap glasses. Confusing and bloody annoying! Esp as I've had to pay the £1.50 uplift :p

Your party sounds stressful :( Our party will be me, Rachelle, Mum, and the dogs :p Some nice veggie party food and I think Rachelle's bought Paranorman :D

Tuesday Food: Off to the cinema tonight for the Thor double so trying to eat smartly so I'm not tempted by the likes of pic & mix lol! My friend's making me SW carbonara for tea and I'm going to pick up some veg and take low fat cheese ;)

2 Linda M Italian sausages (1)
Half a tin of beans with red onion, mushrooms, peppers, and cherry tomatoes in
