How are you? Yup, I'm still going. Been so bad with SW over the last year. If I hadn't of being messing around so much I'd be at target by now :p But yeah, still at it ;)
The doggies are good thanks. The big dog, Ellie, has been diagnosed with Cushing's (not the rare diabetes she's been treated for for 3 years...) so we're still a bit up and down with her treatment. Having to do lots of tests while we sort out doses and things. But she's improved a lot since starting the treatment and you can really see a difference in her. It's a serious condition though, so it's a bit scary :(

Had a really nice day yesterday. We went to see the new exhibition at Fact, Robots and Avatars. Then for coffee and posh cake :D Had a wander round the new Liverpool museum. A wander round the Albert Dock. Coffee again, but no cake ;) Then we went to meet some friends for a carvery. Lots of veggies, spuds, gravy, stuffing, a couple of yorkshire puddings, and cranberry sauce. Then I had a chocolate ice cream and brownie dessert. Was soooo nice :p Had a pint of cider too!
Then a few chocolates when I got home :eek:

Thursday: Low syn day today to try and help make up a little for yesterday. I know it wont come close, but every little helps and all that ;)
Had a really good driving lesson today. My Mum came along to be my passenger and was nicely impressed :D I wasn't even nervous that she was there! S'good!!

Lunch: A boiled egg, 2 Quorn sausages (2), wholemeal toast (HexB1), and sauce & mustard (1)

Tea: Home made free chilli. A packet of Mexican rice. Salad. Feta & cheese (HexA1). Dressings (1)

Snack: Bears (HexB2) and Shape (0.5)

Drinks: Coffee. Diet Coke.

Friday: Back to work today and on a late :( 11:30-8 Don't remember much of today. Codeine spaces me out so much :(

Breakfast: Porridge (HexB1), raisins (2), Splenda, and skimmed milk (half HexA1)

First break: Half a tub of raspberries, blackberries, red grapes, blueberries, and strawberries.

Lunch: Chilli, jacket spud, feta a (rest of HexA1), salad, and dressing (1)

Break: Rest of the tub of fruit.

Tea: Low fat Supernoodles, kiev (4), feta and cheese (HexA2) salad, and dressing (1) Wholemeal bread (HexB2)

Drinks: Coffee. Diet Coke.

So a sort of good week last week. Will be another sort of type one this week too. It's my fake little brother's birthday on Friday and we're going for a fancy Indian meal :D The place has a waterfall and a door man :eek: lol. And I will in no way be 'good' with my food. Paneer here I come ;) But I will prepare for it by saving up some syns to use and hopefully soften the blow :) Should be able to be good till then!! Hopefully....

Anyway, Monday Food:

Lunch: 2 Quorn sausages (2), beans, scrambled eggs (half HexA1 for milk & cheese), herby crispy potatoes, wholemeal toast (HexB1), and sauce (1)

Tea: Portion of chickpea daal from the freezer-had added Quorn pieces, onion, green pepper, sweetcorn, and potato. With 3/4 of a pack of Chinese savoury rice. Couple of big spoonfuls of cottage cheese.

Snack: Bear Nibbles (HexB2) and a Shape (0.5)

Drinks: Coke Zero. Coffee. Squash. Highlights Hot Chocolate (2)

Exercise: Not much. Just sorted out the garage animals really.
 
Have had to lift my self-imposed painkiller ban today. I've got a really bad headache and my neck's still annoyingly sore. Only taking paracetamol though, no codeine or ibuprofen :sigh:
But meeting my friend in a bit and we're gonna check out a karate class. I did karate for a year or so back when I was about 17. But my friend went really far with hers and competed and everything, but stopped because of injury. So we're going to check out her old sensei's class and have a chat with him :D Really looking forward to it. Have wanted to get back in to karate for a very long time, just didn't really have anyone to go with. So rather excited!

Tuesday food:

Lunch: Jacket spud, tin of spaghetti, 2 veggie burgers (1), and low fat cheese (HexA1)

Tea: Wholemeal spaghetti, home made tomato sauce, Quorn mince, and salad. Dressing (0.5) Low fat cheese (HexB1)

Really enjoyed watching the karate class. Me and laura just wanted to jump in lol. We're gonna have our first training session on Thurs. My shoulder's still rather sore, so will do some physio exercises and hope for the best. If I'm still ouchy by Thurs I'll load up on painkillers.
Only thing I'm not looking forward to is that everyone in the beginners class (which is where I'll be coz I only got my orange belt) is a kid!!! There aren't any beginner adults atm :( So I'll be the oldest by at least 15 years :eek: At least I'll be the tallest for a change :p Should be interesting training with kids :sigh: God damn my friend for being so advanced :p The guy who'll be my sensei is really nice though. Looking forward to it. But equally ARGH and squeeeeee ;)
 
Wednesday: Had a good day today!! Went to see Piranha 3DD with my friends Tim & Caz. OMG it was afwul!!! :p But we had fun! They gave me a lift in to town and we went for a coffee while I waited to meet my other friend, Ste. I'm trying to find out how much we 'like' each other.....eek! But we had fun. Went to see Avengers Assemble (3rd time for me ;)) but had had to go home right after *sulk* So no chance to talk or anything. But looks like he's coming out with us next Fri so you never know ;) Lol!

Food:

Lunch: 2 Quorn sausages (2), beans, scrambled eggs (half HexA1 for milk & cheese), wholemeal toast (HexB1), and sauce (1)

Had a pretty good day today! Had a really good driving lesson this afternoon :D He told me off for not believing in myself lol. And this evening I went back to karate! Yes I was with all the kids, not one of them over 10 :rolleyes: So it wasn't very hard but was good to go back and go back to basics too. You tend to get a bit sloppy on your basics when you're higher grades, so I'm more than happy to start from scratch. This is a different form from the one I did too, so need to learn things their way. If work times don't clash we're hopefully gonna go twice a week :)

Thurs food:

Lunch: Porridge (HexB1), raisins (2), banana, Splenda, and skimmed milk (Half HexA1)

Tea: Low fat Supernoodles, 7 Quorn nuggets (3.5), salad, low fat cheese (rest of HexA1), and sauce & dressing (1)

Supper (bit too much to just be a snack lol): 2 Weetabix (HexB2), raisins (2), and skimmed milk (half HexA2). Small bowl of red grapes, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Shape (0.5)

Drinks: Coffee. Squash.

Exercise: Around an hour or so of walking.
An hour and a bit of karate.
 
That's great about the karate it's so good to find a sport/exercise that you enjoy :-D x

I've got my fake little brother's birthday night out tomorrow at an Indian restaurant. Good thing is I can't have stuff with cream in, coz it makes me ill, so at least that's one thing I wont have to worry about. Everything else? Well....
Planning on a low syn lunch tomorrow and saving at least one of each Hex to put towards the meal.

and Saturday I'm taking my little dog Dave to Delamere forest with my friends and their dog. We're going for breakfast first-I've been told I have to try the scrambled eggs and get a flapjack! And when we've had our forest trek we HAVE to have hot chocolate lol. At least the walking will help knock off some calories.

Sunday should be a good day ;)

I did it years ago but we couldn't get to the gradings without a car. Very much looking forward to getting stuck back in. And a new club, sensei, and form will be interesting :)

So I had a great weekend. The Indian meal wasn't brill tho :( But yday we went to Delamere forest with the dogs and I wasn't told we'd need a picnic so had to make do with last minute stuff from Tesco. We had hot chocolate at the forest too :D We walked for over 4 hours in the end. When I got home we walked Ellie and my friends' dog Lulu round the local park. Ellie's fear aggressive so she never gets to meet new dogs, but my friends wanted to give it a go. She barked for the first few minutes but they ended up walking side by side all the way round the park and home. Was lovely :D
Had chippy chips butties for tea :p
Today I was on plan :) Walked over to the shops and back and did a big clean on the bunnies and de-poo'd the garden.
 
Monday: Need to be good again this week and save up syns for the weekend. Got a meal and night out on Friday, friend staying Fri & Sat night, and brunch out on Sunday! :eek:

Wednesday: Was on a rubbish shift today 4-8 :( But I did get to take the new bunnies in to work to be checked out by a vet. Was worried that they were very skinny when I got them and one of them was struggling to put weight on. But they both have great teeth and healthy sounding hearts & guts :D Just need to feed 'em up a bit.

Lunch: 2 Quorn sausages (2), half tin of beans, little herby potatoes, cheesy scrambled egg (HexA1 for milk & cheese), wholemeal toast (HexB1), and sauce (1)

Break at work: An apple and a banana.

Tea: Half a tin of chickpea daal, some chopped tomatoes, red onion, green & yellow peppers, sweetcorn, mushroom, and Quorn pieces. Jacket spud. Cottage cheese.

Snack: Shape (0.5) and Bear Nibbles (HexB2)

Drinks: Coffee. Coke Zero. Options (2)
