Chelsea Lou - The Ventura adventure, not a sinking ship!

Hey Chels, hope all is good with you hun and you're not too worn out to say hi when you're done moving stuff
xx

Hope you are having a good Sunday and get to relax a bit during your days off from work. :)

Day 43

Evening everyone, jeez I am so tired. They are sort of in the old new house, or should that be the new old house - upstairs anyway. The master bedroom is bigger than my whole flat :D It all looks so beautiful. The carpets downstairs, plus hall stairs and landing are being done tomorrow morning then all the rest of the furniture can come in. I have spent the day looking after babies and then cleaning the new kitchen - which is just fab - I would be inspired to cook if I had one like it.

All good on the food front but because of lack of kettle etc., have been down on liquids today. I am trying to make up for that now I am at home.

Will be back at the place they have been renting to help with the cleaning of it, once the rest of their furniture is out. Tuesday is my last day of 'holiday' so will spend that time trying to catch up on my jobs around my place.

Hope you are all ok and had a lovely Sunday. Will now try to catch up with what you have been doing.

xx

I feel tired just reading your post Chels! Sounds like a lovely house they've got though - I could so do with a bigger place!

Make sure you have some time to relax on Tuesday as well - chores can ALWAYS wait... ;)

Thanks Alli, I won't spend all day doing chores. Would like to get out for a nice walk at some point before I return to work on Wednesday. The weather has been rotten this weekend. Cold, wet and miserable, so it was nice to be busy and it was so nice 'dressing' the twins' bedroom. It is a pink palace and all their bedding is pink and new and lovely, along with lots of girlie bits to put about the place. The curtain poles aren't up yet though and their 'curtain' is an old maroon coloured sheet that has been fixed to the window. Their room is at the front of the house, so looks really chav :D

I also made up Laura and Russ' bed, with all their new bedding and cushions and it looked so lovely.......felt a bit hrmmmph when I got home to mine. :(

Hello lovely!

How has your weekend gone? The weather has been absolutely rubbish hasn`t it?!! :(

What hrs do you work? I`m doing 11-2 all this week if you`re about for a brew at Tescos or in town :)

Day 44. Too tired for words

Good morning all,

Actually it feels like the afternoon - I've been awake since 2 am and up since 2:45  I didn't get to bed until 11 pm so three measly hours of sleep. My brain just wouldn't shut up. I am not even sure what I was thinking about either.

I feel as though I am going to struggle today as I have had a porridge already at 6 am and normally I don't have anything until noon. This might be the day when I go up to 810, which is only two days early, as I would rather do that than worry about having an extra pack. I have used up a lot of energy over the last few days helping DD2 and I feel wiped out. Also feel like I am going down with yet another cold.....deep joy!

I'm back over to the place they are moving out of today, cleaning windows etc., then once that is sorted probably go to the new-old house and help there...new carpets which are being laid today downstairs will need a hoover.

Tomorrow I had planned to get my own house in order but the way I am feeling at the moment I think I will be spending it in bed.

For some reason, and I don't know why I feel this way, I feel fatter this week. Convinced that I will have had a weight gain. This is despite the fact that my work trousers, that up until a few weeks ago were bordering on the tight, virtually fell off me when I put them on yesterday. This brain of mine is definitely playing little tricks. Going to read a little bit of Beck before taking Jess to work then onto window cleaning, floor scrubbing etc etc.

Have a lovely Monday peeps xxx

Morning Chels, l thought l was up early at 5:20am, 2:45 yikes! You must be worn out after all you've done over the past few days and being on SS too, 810 sounds like a good idea. What a great Mum you are. :flowers:
Great news on the work trousers too. :)

Have a good day and try not to overdo it. Take care. :hug99:

Don't listen to those little voices Chels, you are getting slimmer every day... but no wonder you are tired hun. Take some echinacea, it CAN stop a cold from starting if you get it soon enough. Hopefully it is just dust from the move that is making you a bit snuffly.

Today seems like a very good day to step up to 810, that will keep you going and you will have worked off the extra cals before you even start on the meal! Chin up hunny & have a good day, and please tale it easy tomorrow. Sending a hug.

Morning hun x

I agree, that moving up a plan would be good considering all the extra exercise you`re getting with the housework etc.

Re a brew, I think a weekend is probably our best bet ;) x

Hope today goes quickly for you so that you can rest Xx

Morning Chels, you must be mad getting up at 2.45..... lol. I often lay awake but cannot quite bring myself to get up, might be different if I was the only one in the house though and no chance of waking up other people. You have done so well this weekend helping out your daughter, the feeling fatter is definately your brain playing tricks on you. Might be worth moving up to 810 as you have been expending so much energy. Have a great day whatever you decide to do.

Morning Chels --

I think it is the Ying/Yang thing. You move up and I move down. lol

I am sure that a part of why you feel so run down is not having enough calories for all the exercise you are getting.

And, the feeling bloated might be your body holding water to replace the fat you've burned (it is designed to maintain itself: survival thing).

If you were to stand on a scale that shows water/fat ratios - you'd probably see that your water was up/and fat low -- so drink your water, and maybe even a little extra, and that should cause your body to lose the water you are retaining.

You'll feel less bloated and the scales will reflect the loss.

I hope you have a banner day. (Silly American Phrase)

Thanks Dis, I laid there for a while but my bladder starts chattering at me to get up and once I'd sorted that out I couldn't face getting back into bed to lie there some more. Absolutely hanging now though. Hope your day is going well.

Thanks Katy, definitely time to move up. I have been too active for VLCD and I am paying the price. Tired, hungry and fretting a bit. Will go out shopping soon to get my protein supplies. Looking forward to cottage cheese (?)

Hugs back and hope you are having a better day today xx

A brew on a weekend sounds good to me SS, as long as it isn't Carlsberg Special Brew ;) :D xx

Brain is definitely trying to trick me - I've been so active and must be on quite a minus calorie wise, yet feel fatter. What nonsense really? Thats what our messed up heads do to us and Beck has just GOT to help me sort it all out. Have a lovely day too GE

Hello Ying, its Yang here!!!!:D It makes sense the way you put it as because there were no kettles, cups, coffee etc for most of the weekend I have barely drunk anything. I can only have water hot and with the flavouring, so had none. Not good and would explain a lot. Got a nice big glass in front of me at the moment and will keep on glugging.

I hope you have a spiffing day old bean (Even sillier British phrase) :D

Hi Mum,

Hope you're having a good day cleaning! :)8855:) make sure you try and get an early night tonight or you might overdo it :( and we don't want that. ;)

Hope the girlies are being there fabulous cheeky selves! :D

Love you lots,
Jess xxx
Hello sweetheart. My hands are so sore and rough. :cry:Back killing me and I am knackered beyond belief but you know me.........come bedtime I get second wind (stop laughing at the back!) :D

Going to go to Tesco's shortly, then nice soak in a deep, hot bubble bath, jim-jams on and hopefully an early night. Didn't see much of the girls but what I did see they were just as cheeky.

Love you loads too xx

Latest number plate message.......or am I just making it fit?

What do you reckon?

Just started driving Jess to work this morning and she plugged her ipod into my car and "Three times a lady" came on, which was my darling Sister's song. She even walked down the aisle to it, when she got married knowing she was dying. So Jess and I started talking about the song and Annie. The traffic stopped and we were right beside a car that was parked in a driveway with the number C15 LOU The five was a rounded one so it looked more like an S. CIS LOU or SIS LOU? Just thought it was a coincidence. It made me smile. It was like she could hear us talking, the song etc and wanted to acknowledge that.

It made me recall a wonderful come back when she was living with the a$$hole she married. They were living out in Spain at the time and he was a real bar steward to her, beating her and making her beg for money. They lived in a fab apartment, beach one side, pool the other and the marina on the third side but she had to clean other people's apartments because she didn't have a brass farthing. Anyway, after a really big argument she said - quite calmly - "Your a little man" (he is short) "with little hair" (he was going bald and he hated that) "with little dick" (can't confirm that but he didn't pack out his speedos very well):D:D An Annie classic, which made me cry with laughter, recalling it to Jess this morning.

I love number plate spotting xxx

Love this. Sisters are forever...
