Think I will have a chocolate orange one tomorrow..........or maybe butterscotch or strawberry? Decisions decisions tut xx

Awwwwwww, I think I am lucky to have her. We are 3 years apart, me 01/06 and her 05/06 and I used to resent the fact that we always had to have a shared birthday party. I could never have my own birthday. Not her fault but I resented her all the same. We fought like cat and dog growing up.

I love having sisters and I hope my 3 girls feel the same way about theirs. xx

Hi Yang,

You could have been writing about my "little" sister and me. She is 3 years younger than I am -- and her birthday is 16/10 and mine is 21/10/

My silly father told me that he got me a baby for my birthday and took me to the "baby store" to see my baby in the window. When he indicated my sister I started to cry; she was the smallest baby in the store and I wanted the bigger one with more hair! lol

He took me to the shop after we left and got me a Barbie doll instead, but told me that because he'd already paid for the baby we'd have to keep it, but it could be my mom's and oldest sister's.

Anyway, the oldest and the youngest are very close -- but I do like my younger sister, now. ;)

Thank you Bess. People at work are really noticing now. I felt confident to sit here not wearing a jacket to cover myself up :D

Fathers have a lot to answer for........in our case anyway. I detest mine with a passion and would dance on his grave, if I knew where the bar steward had been buried :D:(

Hi Chels --

Congrats on being so close to your 2009 lowest. :party0011:

I am (Ying that I am) about 4 pounds from my lowest 2010 weight (148). :D

My lowest 2009 was goal... so, let's not go there! :sigh:

BTW, did you have a chance to check out the "party link" I posted? I am pretty sure that Eric was in those photos from Germany. lol

Day 46 -

Hi everyone,

Thought it would be nice to get back to work for a rest but no such luck. I'm basically colleague-less for the next 2 weeks minimum, so having to do two people's work (and hours)........less time for Minis, which is a real disgrace ;)

Well, firstly I have to say thank you for all the lovely messages of support and congratulations. It is really appreciated. You are the best.

My second day of 810. Yesterday was really good. I had three shakes - one of which I made into a MAM. Very delicious. Nice to have a pudding after my cottage cheese and salad leaves dinner.

Today, so far one shake down. No water though, as have been so busy and also I'm not allowed to leave reception (it was pointed out in my appraisal last week) so difficult to get the water to glug and then all the trips to the loo that glugging water would involve. :(

Today is a really beautiful day here but so cold. Looking up through the glass ceiling I sit under, is a lovely clear blue sky which reminds me that better days are just around the corner.

Hope everyone is doing well today. Lots of love.

Neely There :D

Mel, I was too much of a wuss to click onto the link as if there had been pics of spiders I would have thrown up. I wouldn't put it past Eric though, he was practising a bit of goose-stepping right before he left. :D Well done you for being so close to your lowest. I can't wait to say that I am the lightest I've been for 10+ years. :D:D Keep at it honey....this year could be the best year!!! xxx

Had my very first mix-a-mousse just now. Toffee & Walnut. Very yummy :D

I was worried about making it because I've read other people having to throw it away but my CDC told me a good way to make it, as recommended by one of her other ladies.

Freeze the water to just the point where there are ice crystals forming. Shake one scoop of MAM into the selected CD product. I then put the mixed powder into a large jug and added the water, whisked for a minute or so. Poured into a serving bowl, put into the fridge, waited 10 minutes then gobbled it all up lol.

Had to laugh, just looked up at the above and had put .....one scoop of MAN........ :D:p

You need a Magic Bullet (love that name :p). In case you don't know what it is, it's a small blender that's really powerful. The jug on it is the drinking glass itself so virtually nothing to clean and it makes the shakes taste like milk shake / frappuccino (if you add ice) and MAM is perfectly light and fluffy!

It made my CD experience a million times better and I still use it nearly daily for smoothies, chopping nuts, cappuccino foam and lots of other stuff. The UK version is called Hinari Genie and is only £30 on Amazon!

In case I haven't already said it, well done on the 4lbs - that's brilliant! :)

Day 46 almost over and its been good on the 810 front. Have had two shakes and my protein meal, with 3tbsps of greenery. Only 4 fl ozs for milk so far, so may treat myself to a milky coffee later.....decaf of course lol.

Still have a shake to go but too tired to faff with MAM tonight, so will just have it as a shake.

My size 14 trousers that I haven't worn for a year or so and were slightly tight a couple of weeks ago are really baggy now, so hopefully it won't be too long before I am a comfortable 12 :D Funny how just a couple of lbs has everyone suddenly noticing and making comments. I've even had the "You dont want to lose anymore, you'll be too thin" comments. I know we have to allow a bit more as we age but 1.5 stones over the upper limit for my height........is that really "being too thin"?

Hope you are all having a fab evening with your families and speak to you soon xxxx

Major Luke A. Gain xxxx

Aw little cutie...........and you are lol. Good about the 3lbs honey. You'll be way down by the time you get weighed next Tuesday :D xxx

Day 47!!!

I can't believe that I am almost 7 weeks in!!! I also haven't had a cig for 9 weeks today :D So I am going to give myself two credits :):)

I hope everyone is fit, well and happy today. Not a lot to report at the moment but it is only 08:52.

One little thing I noticed this morning, whilst showering, is being able to feel some bones under my flesh - now that said bones aren't being covered by a 2" layer of fat!!! Little things...............

xxx

Chels, that's fantastic that you've given up smoking and whilst losing weight too, that deserves major credit. :happy096:

Have a good day. :)

Trying to catch up whilst dancing to Happy Birthday and watching Thomas the Tank (it isn't anyones birthday, just one of their toys), well done on the nearly lowest 2009 weight, wont be long. I am really liking 810 although halving my meal to have one at lunchtime and one at dinner time. I am also having a MAM and a 100% fat free greek yoghurt (200 ml) with a half a shake mixed in as I am not drinking any other milk. Keep up the good work you are really doing well with your weight loss and giving up cigarettes.

Thanks Dis. How are things with you? xx

I am so pleased that you have found your rhythm again GE, with the 810. Your diary of a couple of years ago was so inspirational, along with your amazing before/after pics. I showed my sister the other day and she couldn't believe it was the same person. You will get there hon, you've already dropped a stone, which is amazing considering all the pressure you have been under. xxx

Thanks Dis. How are things with you? xx
Good thanks. :) Had an extra busy day today and going out again shortly to the launch night for a new business of one our clients, the invite says champagne and canapes, pity l'll have to decline and stick to mineral water. :sigh:
This is the 11th day of my restart, 9th day of 100% SS (2 days were SS+). Only a few more lbs and l'll be back in the 10s - yay! I find the weekends the trickiest bit, so am giving myself the option of SS+/810 if l feel l need it.
