Chelsea Lou - The Ventura adventure, not a sinking ship!

Morning Yang,

I woke up so sore from Body Pump, that I decided to give the RC Zumba a miss this morning. Good thing, as you were really working it this a.m. -- so, I have been "motivating" (nagging) DD along on her project. She is doing some colouring atm.

Since you had the morning Fitness shift, I am going to go up to the base gym later to do some "planned exercise" on the treadmill, etc. I have not checked out the new equipment and need to do so. I am also going to sit in the sauna and enjoy (maybe read some Beck!).

Then, it will back here for some chores (perhaps), or if I have any energy I might ask my DH out to the cinema. DS has so much schoolwork he'll be in tonight, and "watch" DD.

MM
I've had it with my side of the exercise thingy today Ying. It's about time you were 'up' so I can go 'down' lol

I've just done all my housework, when I say all....it's a one bed flat, so hardly a mansion to clean. All the same I got rid of the 1" thick layer of dust covering all my surfaces. My grandchildren's faces are now visible in their photos. Hoovered, polished, Cillit Banged the sink and bath  Ducked the toilet, plumped and arranged cushions and now back into the slob position on the sofa :D feeling oh so virtuous!!!!! Got some good tunes going on the ipod and am about to log onto itunes to get me some more. Oh for the days when you would go into a record shop and ask to listen to a song or three and then go into a booth with your mate and listen, knowing full well you had no money to buy the records. At the risk of sounding like my needle has got stuck......I wish we could go back to those days. :sigh:

I am sure your DS will do an excellent job of watching (??) your DD this evening. Have fun at the cinema - how very English of you to call it that Mel....I am very impressed hahahaha xx

A couple of tunes purchased Rhiannon/Eminem - Love the way you Lie and The Cure - Lullaby Extended version, they are playing now and I can feel a bit of a bop coming on ;)

LOVE that dress Chels - you'll look amazing in it! xx

Aww thanks Bess. I hope so. Will leave it a few more weeks before I go into the store and try it on. How are you feeling today? xx

I'm ok Chels, thankyou, we all are. Remembering all the funny things Archie used to do. Climbing up the ladder when we pick apples, sleeping in anything that was remotely box like, peeing in the coal bucket when a kitten, always with us outside, whatever we were doing. Having to check that he wasn't asleep in a car before driving away and the day he fell in the 1/2 barrel fish pond and looked so embarrassed as he climbed out!

There is cheeping from the eggs I set under a hen 3 weeks ago...:)
I have to keep OH from looking at them, he's pest for wanting to play midwife, the real one (midwife) and I, keep telling him to leave them alone but he won't! He's the same with plants, always lifting them out to see if the roots are growing... His usual gardening methods involve a chainsaw and a flame thrower....:sigh:

Chicken for supper. (Sorry, that was in bad taste! - True though!) xx

Evening Chels and Bess -- Got "Project Spaceway" done. lol

Yuk, I hope you are not eating one of yours.........please dont tell me the answer to that lol. I would never make a farmer's wife as I could never eat any of the animals, nor would I want them to go off for slaughter....even though I am not a vegetarian. They would all be my babies and therefore would be strictly off the menu!!! I know, I know....totally soft when it comes to animals.....apart from spiders, they can go and do one :D

Morning Chels, good for you cleaning yesterday, I managed to give it a miss..... ha ha. No real exercise for me either tho unless popping into the library and Tesco count. I have Eminem on my iphone too, quite like him, actually I have waaaaaay to much music on mine which DH is always complaining about as it is nearly full.......

Have a good day xxx

Lol, my ipod is weird, it has just gone from Stan (eminem) to Neil Sedaka to Enya  I wonder what the next track will be. I do have "I vow to thee my country" by the Welsh voice choir on there........maybe that will be next. Usually when it comes on I am driving and that's when I hastily close the windows........... street cred and all that hahahaha

Morning Yang,

Got DD doing a write up in case they have "present" their projects. She is moaning about it -- but I am sitting in the lounge and she is the kitchen so I can barely hear her. lol

Drying her PE kit to repack her school bag, and thinking about going to the gym, once she has this write up done. DH is here, but he is useless when it comes to making the kids do anything. He is the fun parent and I am b*tch.

I hope you are enjoying your Sunday. I fell asleep early, was up in the wee hours, finally went to sleep -- and was awoken by DD at 8:30... too late to go the Lutheran Services. Oh well... next week, eh?

Morning Mini Ying,

Next week for the Service sounds ok to me. I am sure 'he' will forgive you.

Dad's are always the fun parent.......apart from my own who was utterly evil. I used to spend all day saying 'no' and disciplining mine........dad would come home from work and go "ok then" grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Still, they have grown up as lovely adults........they just hate me and love their dads......not really (I think/hope).

I am just donning my skechers to walk (?) down to the shops to get a newspaper and bits. Hair done, make-up on......blimey that is unheard of for a Sunday. Usually it is my day of rest from all that malarkey.

Jeans have got even baggier this morning :D

Hope you have a good day and if DD still moans, turn the music up :D:D I learned that from my particular School of Parenting that I attended.......when I wasn't playing truant hahahaha

Lol, imagining you rock-and-rolling to the shops on your skechers to sound of a welsh male voice choir... in your baggy jeans! (Yessss!!!!)

Mel, love the little signature pic, awww!

Wishing you both a fabby Sunday!

Day 50

50 days......sounds like a lifetime and yet it seems to have passed by in a blur.

Yesterday I had a bit of a downer. Feeling sorry for myself. I went for my bike ride, did housework etc. and got to mid-afternoon and then boredom set in. Then I started to feel a bit lonely and sorry for myself. Had a little sleep on the sofa for an hour or so. Watched tv until 10:30 then bed. Yawn yawn. On the plus side though, I didn't let any thoughts of food enter my head, which is amazing. Before I would have 'treated' myself to chocolate, crisps, curry, wine - all of it, not just one or two items  as consolation. I didn't even have to think about it, I just acknowledged I was tired, lonely and bored. End of.

I hope this is a new way for me, rather than just a temporary moment of sanity and reason.

Today nothing much to report. I've had a porridge and a shake, picked Jess up - she's staying over until after our WI on Tuesday and we are off to the cinema later. We have both decided to have our meal just before we go then have our last shakes when we get back home.

I wish you all well and do hope you are enjoying what is left of the weekend. xxxx
