Chels, well done on another lb. I know l'm always saying this, but every single lb lost counts, they soon mount up, not far at all until you'll be in the 140s - woohoo!

Hope tomorrow at work is a really good day for you. That girl at your work sounds horrid, pity those who have to work with her all day long!
My day went ok, thought l was finished for the night, but OH is not long home from work with urgent work for me - it's proof reading & checking the figures in final accounts & schedules for one of our biggest clients, pages and pages of it, it's as tedious as it sounds , suppose l had better get off the computer and get started on it, hopefully without falling asleep, so it's ready for our secretary to photocopy in the morning.

I try very hard when someone treats me inappropriately to be nothing but sweetness and light towards them. Not only is it the doctrine of my faith (to turn the other cheek and to forgive)... but it totally messes with their heads! hee hee

You're right Mel, I would have let it go but she did ask if I was alright and, for once, I felt like being completely honest about it, instead of the usual "I'm ok" She is horrible to people for absolutely no reason, when they look upset she comes out with an inane cackle as if to say that she didn't mean it, when we all know that she does. Her surname rhymes with Blunt. Whereas mine rhymes with Chill or kill

Good for you, what a rude little madam. Hopefully she's feeling ashamed, she should be. I should be just normal with her tomorrow, pretend you don't remember her rudeness. It'll really rattle her if she thinks she's had no effect!

Aw Bess, thanks hon. That sweet little animal, I believe, is a cat.....it was found under the heading of cute kittens, so I am assuming it is a feline!!! I just liked the ears because it seemed like I was prattling away to myself today and no-one was listening hahaha.

I doubt if Blunt would be embarrassed, I don't think she would care that much but I do know that no-one stands up to her, so my guess is that she was a bit shocked, especially as it was "good old Lorrayne" who was doing the standing up

How is No 8 egg??? Anything fluffy hatching from it yet? xx

No, the egg was addled I'm afraid. But mum is a very good one, so fierce! 7 blue/grey and one black chick. And the chicken we ate at the weekend wasn't one of ours! Was it you that asked? I do keep some cockerels sometimes and OH does the deed, or I do if I have to, but I hate it. And when the chap came to kill the lambs, but we haven't any sheep now. I'm glad not to be getting up in the night for lambing though!
I'm collecting different kinds of eggs in the kitchen, some for eating, some for hatching they are all over the place! - just waiting for another broody hen.

Yes Bess, it was me............I just couldn't do that 'thing' that you do. I wouldn't ever get over it. Like I said, I would never make a farmer's wife. Not too sure I would ever survive if circumstances meant we had to hunt for our own food. I'd live on berries and seeds, nuts and stuff like that. I must be a latent vegetarian. I did go without meat for about 4 months a year or two ago and didn't really miss it and wonder why I went back to it really. Boredom I guess, not very imaginative in the kitchen at the best of times :cry:nor the bedroom........when you've finished, pull my nightie down will you?? There's a love hahahahaha. That's me!

If I could I would take some of your eggs and put them inside my bra, to keep snug until they hatched. I'm a broody mare lol, not a hen

Greys Anatomy is my fave tv show and :cry::cry::cry:I have had to give up Sky so haven't been able to see the new series and get my weekly fix of all the male eye candy. What is the world coming to!!! I think Meredith Grey is the luckiest woman ever to get to snog McDreamy every week and get paid for it!!!!!! I just knew I should have gone into the acting profession but knowing my luck this would have been my leading man....

I was an ER girl myself too, have never watched Grays Anatomy.....
