Hi Yang,

I think you should totally go after the postie -- just think how much it would help your weight loss: he turns your stomach so you'd be unable to keep anything down.

Happy Easter, Chick!

Love you too Greeneyes and good morning Jess!!! :8855:eek:ops........wrong way round x

Well, here goes..................eyes down.......

Last week and probably half of the week before was a bit of a disaster. I'd got too much month left for my money to be buying all the good SW stuff. Plus a few unplanned alcoholic drinkies and 4lbs went on. Last week, to try and reel myself in I decided to have two CD shakes per day and the rest was CD1000/SW friendly where possible. So much confusion. I was CD1000 one minute then when I didn't have any CD1000 food I was synning my two shakes (14) and trying to eat the rest of the time on free food. Consequently it was all a bit of a botch job and it became something of a nightmare. I didn't know whether to post on here or on my SW diary, so did neither really. Didn't know what to say on either forum. The scales jumped back up to 11 stone over the weekend, which was depressing to say the least. Suddenly from having 10-11lbs to lose I was a stone from goal.

I still had enough shakes to SS on Monday and yesterday, which I did and 3lbs came off!!! I saw my CDC last night and have gone back to SS (4 shakes). I was supposed to be almost at target weight by now and this is the best option for me at the moment. I had set a date of 4th June to be going dress shopping with my daughters for the cruise/wedding so I NEED to be at goal by the end of May.

I got on the scales this morning and they are back down to 10-9 :D. I have decided to have a good run at it for 3-4 weeks and get to the 10 stones mark then back over to SW to maintain. I do realise that the switch-over will make me gain some carb weight and hopefully it won't throw me off again like a few weeks back.

So, I will carry on with this diary for the time being and just pop over to the SW to keep tabs on everyone over there.

4 weeks to shed 9lbs...........just gotta do it!!!

Thanks for all your messages. Such a comfort xxxx

Glad you're on track again Chels and totally understand what you've been going through. Anchors a-weigh!

Hello!!

It does sound like you've had a tough weekend, but I think we all have in one way or another. Easter being such a choc fest, I find worse than Xmas!
You've made a great decision though, and I know you'll succeed! Keep Going. xxx

Thanks AM, although chocolate wasn't really the problem over the Easter weekend - cream scones with jam and a few glasses of wine/pimms/some cocktail thingy that was disgusting/whisky and diet cokes......not all at once I hasten to add...hic :D

Thanks for the vote of confidence......I will keep going. Got lots of frocks to buy and fit into...hopefully a size 12 :D xxx Hope you are ok. xx

Don't forget the potato wedges, garlic bread, onion rings, prawns, breaded mushrooms, nachos and chicken wings sharer that me, you and John had lol xxx :D
There's always one.............. :p

2 potato wedges, one piece of garlic bread. 2 onion rings and 1 prawn. 3 breaded mushrooms and a couple of nachos............so not as bad as you are trying to make out young lady :D

Trisha, that is exactly right. Just like calories when consumed in liquid form (wine etc.) aren't calories at all ;)

I blame the prawn.

Just caught up Chels. And well done for making a decision. CD works well for you, you have such determination and now you've made a fresh start, that weight will come off in no time. SW for maintaining sounds like a very sensible plan. xxx

Hi Chels,

So you, Linda and I are doing the CD thing... and we all know it works for us. It is good that you have a plan for once you reach goal, and I suggest that you go about 4 to 5 pounds under the weight you want to maintain, then adding back the gylcogen when you move onto SW should not put you above your target. And, if you read Beck's chapter on maintaining -- as long as you are within 3 pounds of that target then you are set. If you go over -- you put your "weight loss plan" into action and lose those 3 pounds. It can be something like an extra fitness class, etc.

Morning Mel and thank you for your wise words. To be honest, I will just be so happy to reach 10 stones, I will probably celebrate with a meal and a few wines and put half a stone back on again:D Actually, nooooooooo that will not happen. I mustn't.

I intend to CD SS+ down to target, whereas before I wanted to work up the plans with 9-10lbs to go and I have come unstuck. If I can get to target this way then by the time I am working up, I should lose a few more lbs so when I start to SW again I should not go above 10 stones - well that's the theory anyway :D:D

Today I jumped on the scales (I know I shouldn't get on them daily, naughty naughty) but was very pleased to see 148lbs - 8lbs from target and lower than I have been for donkey's years, so very happy.

Have keto breath big-time so I pity the BT guy that is due here today to upgrade my broadband. I just hope he has a dire sense of smell hahahaha.

Hope you all have a lovely day peeps. xx

Hi Chels

Sounds like you are v focused at the min, which is fab, and I'll be keeping an eye on your diary to help me too!
Day 2 on Exante today (but same theory as CD - 3 shakes a day).
I think you are being v realistic about your goals and working up the plans and it will put you in good stead for future too.

Agree with Becks 3lb point, it's something I really should have put in place myself before, but didn't - will definitely be looking to this myself when I eventually get back down the weight again.

Have a great day, any plans for tomorrow...are you looking forward to the wedding or avoiding?

xx

Morning AM, I am soooooooo looking forward to the wedding tomorrow and plan to just sit and watch the whole thing all by myself, so I can really 'get into' it without worrying about looking too soft lol. I am bound to have a good grizzle, especially thinking of Diana. I really liked her and the treatment she got made me go right off the Royal Family, Wills and Harry though, they have my support but the rest of them can go and do one lol.

I have got some focus back, which is good. I need to see 10 stones on the scales then I will really know that I can do it.........or have done it. I want so much to be able to say to the world GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes, the nearer I get the further away it feels, if that makes sense.

You were so good before, losing so much and staying really focused and determined. I am sure you will do it again, no problem.

We're all here for each other, no doubt about that.

Enjoy the wedding tomorrow..........or not lol xxx
