Chelsea's last stone off by Christmas mission!!

What fantastic weather we had? I was sooo hot on Friday, my flat was unbearable in the evening. What is it going to be like in July/August? Probably pi$$ing down with rain, that's what hahahaha.

xx

Hi Chels,

If you want good weather just vote me off the island. I have friends who booked a holiday in Great Yarmouth when they heard I was headed to Texas (no kidding). They have been keeping track for the past seven years -- and apparently the UK haas its best weather when I'm somewhere else.

I suspected that I controlled the weather: If I hang my laundry outside with not a cloud in the sky --it WILL rain.

So, I'll see what I can do to help out this summer -- I have already been asked to go to France for the day on Friday as a wedding gift for Will and Kate!

Chels you are soooo quiet... miss you!

Mel, could you arrange to be abroad on 28th as well as the 29th and also 1st June (my birthday)? Thanks everso :D

KC, I'm still about chick, just haven't had anything worth posting food-wise and feel a bit of a fraud at the moment, keeping a diary going on here. I am keeping beady eyes on you all though, so don't think you can slack off lol xxx

Don't feel a fraud. I don't mind if you post 'rubbish' or off plan ! If we don't know how you feel/what you're doing, we can't help. So if we can help, please feel free to post away.

Big hugs.

Yeah, what Gail said. And I just miss you chatting. xxx :)

Hi Yang,

Sorry, I invited some (American) friends from Germany for dinner on the 28th -- but I'll see what I can do about June 1st. I actually think that it is in the 1/2 term week, so maybe DD and I will go to Germany. That should ensure a lovely week!

These silly people came over at this time thinking they would go to London to watch the "wedding" hoopla. Now, they are rethinking it.

I am trying to coordinate a wedding party outing. I have a big house -- but I do not like to have a lot of children in it. It is all I can do to let DD have one six girl sleepover a year. I only let DS have a six boy sleepover once -- it cost about 200 pounds to have the carpets cleaned and broken cabinet door repaired.

OMG Mel!!! I agree, leaving the country would be safer! Boys sleepovers - stuff them all into a tent in the garden... it appeals to their manly side. (And you can smile as gruff pre-teen boys slink in at midnight because they heard an owl hoot...)

Chels, what Gail said, and what Bess said. I know you are making do on budget food this last few weeks but so miss you. I keep worrying. I am worrying that you will jump ship, and feel bad about it, but if you do you know that is OK, we are in this together no matter what plan we follow. All roads lead to Rome and all that! And I know ho mixed up and unhappy I was just a couple of weeks ago. It took me forever to get head into gear on SW but it DOES work when you do it properly hun.

Just in case you need one, sending a big hug.

Lol, must be the cave-man in 'em. Give them a tent and a fire to play with and they are very happy......until the big, bad monster owl gives out a little hoot.

Trouble is Mel, big boys are just as bad but we love them anyways ;)

Awwwww thanks Bess. I genuinely was busy over the Easter weekend but I have to also admit that when I had a free moment to check in I just didn't have the heart to contribute. Perhaps I'm a bit blokeish and just retreated into my cave for a few days.

Gail, thanks for that. I have been quite a bit off-plan. No structure, trying to make do with a few CD shakes that I had left, synning them and doing the best I could with the food that I had or could afford. It was all a bit of an "Eton Mess" :D and I gained 4lbs  I will be posting something in a while about where I am at.

Thank you all for looking out for me.......lovely, lovely ladies xxxxx

He is, isn't he? Or maybe he is our prize at destination... ;o)

Chels, shark nets are up, and I am sending Johnny in to get you...

xxx

Saaave me, Johnny, saaave me....

Ha x see I would want evidence. I'd definitely have a recorded delivery!! ;) :D xxx
Oooh, I'd have the evidence. I would be stamped with first class male :D;) He would have an empty sack  OMG I do apologise to those ladies present who may be offended by that remark :8855:

Ummmmm, no. I've seen the photos, definitely not blokeish! Very lovely I think. Glad you are out of that cave now though. xx

Hi Yang,

I wish I was Johnny's postie... then I could deliver to him! ;)

PMSL ! Thanks everyone. Just read the last few posts and have been chuckling away.

Jess, are you really Chels/Lorrayne's daughter ? And is that your photo ? I think so. Gorgeous both of you and I can see the family resemblance. Can't wait to see the wedding pictures :D

Hi Dis, been wondering where you'd got to. Hope you are ok.

Glad my diary makes you laugh :D Probably not very inspiring but at least it offers the odd giggle.

The time left before we go on the cruise is on my ticker below. A couple of months to go I believe. Really getting excited now. Go posh frock shopping on 4th June :D

What have you been up to?

xx
