Chickadee's food diary.

The katsu was really nice, will have it again :)
Bet your sitting on your case next to the front door waiting for 1pm to come around lol x

Nope I'm lying in my bed coaxing myself into getting up to do cardio lol!!! I've still to pack and I'm going to get my nails done later so I had better get a move on!!

Still not packed! I would have double, triple, quaduple checked my stuff by now lol, I am a bit of a nightmare when going away :)

Ooo your cutting it fine! I have mine packed the week before :)

I'm normally so organised just feeling very lazy!! Stuff is all sitting just waiting to be put in bag so won't take long at all :) I've decided to give cardio a miss lol!! Have a good day all :)

I'm back!!! Paris was amazing, loved every minute of it - def up there in my list of top 5 fav cities :) Possibly number 2 :)

Moulin Rouge was fantastic, lots of glamorous costumes and gorgeous female and male dancers - the physique that these people have would put you to shame they look AMAZING!!!

Had lots of yummy food whilst there but also did LOTS of walking!!! Just had a wee check on the scales and showing a gain of 4 lbs since last weigh in which I don't believe at all!!! Will just be water retention or whatever but no way I gained that much so not worried at all :) Back to healthy eating today-really need to be a bit more strict as I've been having too many treats lately so no chocolate for me today!!!

brekkie - porrdige with a tiny bit off ss milk.
pear

Lunch - scrambled eggs in a tortilla wrap.
banana

Dinner - used diet coke chicken recipe to make a lovely bbq-esque sauce. Had it with a chicken breast, onions, cous cous and a salad with cherry toms - was yummy!!

Supper- 2 slices of toast with wafer thin chicken- don't normally have supper but was starving tonight and think I did pretty well food wise today so shouldn't do too much harm although won't make a habit of eating so late!!

snacks - cottage cheese, slices of wafer thin chicken.
muller light yogurt and strawberries.

Gonna drink LOTS of water today!!

How are you all? What have I missed??

So...I have 10 lbs that I still want to lose and I've set my new goal date to 23.12.11 - this gives me 9 weeks which means I need to lose 1lb a week( and an extra lb somewhere along the line :) ) I think this is managable for me and hopefully it will help me to refocus.

Have included a picture below of what, in an ideal world, I would like my body to look like :) It is a picture of Kelly Brooke who is my body idol :) Hoping everytime I look at this pic it will stop me from reaching for the chocolate bars :)
It is probably a bit airbrushed here and there :) Does anyone else have a body idol?????!!!!

Where did you find that pic of me lol she does have a fab body and shows a pear shape can be very sexy. Hope it inspires you to resist the chocolate x

Hi kron good to hear from you :)

So where are you off to tomorrow wearing the tiny dress??!What's it like? Hope you can fit in some swings beforehand :)

Wow I love Kelly Brooke! Glad you had a fab time, no words of marriage? ;)

Been okay here, had a bit of a splurge at the chinese yesterday but it was a long and emotional day at a funeral, so im allowing myself the extra :p

No proposals!! Think everyone is more disappointed than me!! I know my bf and a proposal in Paris Is not his style!!! Had a fab time though!!

Yes she looks amazing, hopefully will keep me on the straight and narrow!!

Sorry to hear you had a funeral and hope you can get back to 100% today :)

How are you getting on with kettleworx? I'm aching from cardio yesterday!! Was planning on doing res3 today but legs and arms hurt too much!!

WI day today!!! +2.75lbs!! To be honest I'm not too gutted after my trip away it's to be expected, plus I've not been to the loo yet this morning so not sure how accurate it is!! Not even updating my stats as I know I can shift it and get back to 10 st 3 ( or hopefully less) for next Friday!!!

Planning on making a nice curry in my slow cooker today, must be getting old as I'm excited about using it!!! Might go out a walk down byres road later to get some fresh air! A bit scared about leaving the food cooking but that is the whole point of a slow cooker after all!! Hopefully won't come back to a burned down flat!! Does anyone else use one?? Any tips?

I was getting laughed at yesterday, at the funeral.. because everytime I sat down my butt and my thighs were hurting, haha.

Nearly finished WK1! Going out tomorrow, don't know if I should attempt it before I go out or leave it to Monday? Want to have it finished though hmm. And I doubt I'll be able to get out of bed on Sunday, never mind lift a kettle bell :p

Soo jealous btw, i'd love to go to paris :)

Slow cooker - My gran uses her for stews, soups and everything else! I am going to get one this year, might be sad and ask my mum to get it for my christmas haha!

Well I got a crock pot one from tesco which was half price- £20 :) so let your mum know!! Yeah I'm thinking I'll put all my ingredients in it in the morning and come home to a nice warm dinner!!! That's the plan anyway!!

I've posted on your diary, I think you should do res and get it out the way!! You'll really enjoy it :)

Hi Chick i am off to the works awards do tonight, just got home so lunch is cooking then need to shower and get hair done.
Just picked up my new dress :) it fits like a glove, and guess what started my period today lol
I am really looking forward to going, not for the awards (altho I want one!) but nice to see some work people out of the office, and really feel good wearing my dress :)

I know loads of people that shove stuff in their crocks and leave them on whilst their at work. Hope you enjoy your curry x

Have a fab time and fingers crossed that you get the award :)

I'm sure you will look gorgeous and glam in your dress, hopefully there will be a photo?? You know I love a nosey at the photos lol

I told my bf about my plans to cook dinner while at work and he nearly had a fit lol I think I'll do a test run tonight - will cook a chilli just to reassure him( and myself!) that the flat won't burn down lol Better check the smoke alarm had batteries ;)

Will look forward to hearing about your night, have fun :)

Food today ( so far so good)I feel like my willpower is back with avengence :)

brekkie - porridge with tiny bit of ss milk and chopped up banana. Also had a half teaspoon of sugar!

Lunch - 2 eggs scrambled with lf cheese
1 slice malted bread with scrape of lf marg
7 cherry toms

Dinner - slow cooker curry( the aroma wafting through the flat is gorgeous, sounds sad but I can't wait to eat it lol)

Ingredients - chicken breasts, curry powder seasoning mix, chopped toms, red pepper, potatoes, onion. When it's made I've to add fresh spinach which sounds yum :) Not sure whether to have on it's own( will be quite filling with the potatoes) or with some noodles or maybe some rice? Will see how I feel when it's ready - don't really want it to turn into a carb overload :)

dinner was lovely and I had it with a tiny portion of noodles in the end :)

dessert - mint areo flavoured 'angel delight' with strawbs and half vanilla muller. lovely!!

Snacks- cottage cheese, cold meat, grapes.

Start here

I recently came across a thread on minimins about the above. Must say I was pretty sceptical but after following the thread for a week now the people on there seem convinced so thought I'd give it a go. Can't do any harm!!

The first thing I have to do is set myself three 'big realistic goals' One of which should be something that being slimmer will allow me to enjoy more - something I used to do but don't anymore or something physical or learning something new. Here goes.....

1. Go back to a Zumba class.

2. Lose 10 lbs in 9 weeks.

3. Lose 4 lbs in 4 weeks.

I want to achieve these goals by 23.12.2011.

Each day/night I have to listen to a 10 minute recording and the rest should fall into place. I bought 2 recordings so It'll be 2 x 10 minute recordings for me and I'll listen to these on my iphone before bed. I opted for the drop a dress size and chocoholic cure( I'm a total slave to sugar!) I am still not entirely convinced but I'm open minded and willing to give it a go for 21 days :) Each day I have also to write down 3 successes - these might seem trivial or small but have not to be discounted. I'm quite excited about it all to be honest :) Will keep my healthy eating diary going too :)

We WON :)
Had a great time, few too many drinks and a lot of laughs

That podcast sounds very interesting, good luck with it and if it helps chocoholics i will need to give it a go lol

Glad to hear your slow cook curry turned out nice, the corocks are really andy, but understand the concern of leaving something cooking all day unattended, but it should be fine or they wouldnt be able to sell them or promote leaving it to do itd thing while your out
