Yep a few trauma's along the way T. All done now, she is now doing a PGCE because she wants to teach post 16 students with disabilities/behaviour issues basic skills e.g. maths/english/life skills. She has her placement in the special school and her place on the course. It just has to be funded now ....... she will carry on working P/T, that keeps her in the style she is accustomed to ;) we just provide food/rent/warmth and of course LOVE - ah I am a very proud Mum

My dress gets another airing next Thursday at her grad ceremony - her BF's is also the same day at the same time :( so both families (never met before) are meeting up for a meal after so looking forward to it.

There is a pheasant strutting around my back garden and next door's cat is just sitting there sunbathing and watching it - the cat is old so probs cannot be bothered ......

have a good day everyone and thank you xxx

forgot - menu:
Muffins, rhubarb & homemade yummy yoghurt
2 x dry fried eggs
roast beef & baby toms
Not sure about later - going to a floristry wholesaler with some colleagues to restock the dept. so might go to a restaurant near by that does buffet style roast dinner! :)

Fantastic that she has a good plan of action - what a great career choice and one that she will obviously thrive at! People don't choose that route unless they have a real empathy for it...... NO wonder you are sooo proud of her..... Hope your son gets to know what he wants to do in the same way and then there will be no stopping him....... Glad the dress is getting an airing - it needs to - simply stunning I say..... Are you still enjoying conso??? Can't believe it's only two pounds away for me - feels kinda surreal - will be grateful to Dr Dukan for ever and ever - never felt sooooo in control of my eating and aware that the journey is for life for me not just for Christmas!!! LOLOLOL xxxxx

Yes T thats exactly what spurs me on through conso, do I want to ever be big again NOOOOOOOOOOO ........... Ive got US biggest loser on TV now and I'm a blubbering wreck I can empathise with how they felt when they were so big - and how good it feels once at goal, no comparison is there.

This phase is defo the hardest to keep control of but we can do it, we know how to now!!! I dont panic if I step on the scales and its a + I just do what I know best have a PP! LOL looking forward to you being in conso x

Wednesday 4/7
Unfortunately a housework day - washing, ironing & cleaning :( weather rubbish again so its not like I can sit in the garden. Going to get it done quick then I can carry on with my necklace. My MrR is having a good time in the USA weather there is hot! I am missing him but the house is quieter without him! Tomorrow I am in work all day for staff development, we have 3 training days in a year and we have to go to them. Usually so boring you want to nod off so lets hope tomorrow will be different.

menu: muffins, chicken & salad, chilli & cauliflower, 40g cheese, melon :)

the best bit of conso is 'FRUIT' did miss it very very much on cruise all my favs are of course a no no even now e.g. bananas and all time fav's cherries! Wont be long now Sara and melon will be yours - LOL x

Congratulation to your daughter, what a gorgeous picture!! Gorgeous girl and clever with it!! Must get it from her mum! Cx

I must admit I miss fruit, so why when i fall off the wagon do I not do it fruit but with rubbish !!!!!!! The strawberries look so tempting right now & down the lotty there are loads of gooseberries :( sigh .......

Another few months & I'll be able to have some but strawberries wont be in season then :(

Will all be worth it Jo - look at Chris and Ellie flying through conso - we can too! xx

I used to be exactly the same wierd aint it -

when I was growing up we had a very large garden (a green fingered Dad) fruit of every description - loved picking gooseberries straight from the tree ............

Erm ....... gooseberries! can we have them?

Muffins baked, chilli simmering, yoghurt maker done, dyson about to go on, ironing done, washing in so Im ready for the tennis and 'live' Tour de France I'm a happy bunny :) simple pleasures that's me. Just wish this awful weather would do one ........... who opened their big mouths and mentioned a hose pipe ban they want a good talking to!!! I took a pic this morning and sent it to MrR he is in 100 deg USA heat wonder if it will make him feel guilty - NO dont think so - lol. Fleece on in July is ridiculous.

PP today instead of yesterday while I was at boring staff development - next one October.

muffins, ham & dry fried eggs, chilli and good old chicken if Im hungry, home made yoghurt with sweetner

Sounds like a thoroughly productive, satisfying day (apart from the flippin' weather). And the right result in the tennis, too - I almost warmed to Andy Murray when he shed a tear on reaching the final! Can't comment on the Tour... x

Yep Sarah it was good, made a change staying in all day with my lovely Son watching sport had to keep flicking over to see what was going on in both - The TDF is in the mountains today so got to watch that - will have to keep checking in on the womens final and tomorrow cannot wait - can't see AM beating the Swiss man though. F1 too at Silverstone a busy sport weekend

Bits of blue sky today.

Good day yesterday a few jobs done, more today before fav sports start .......... might just get some washing dry if this blue sky I can see stays around for a bit. I couldnt get to sleep last night took ages and had to get up at 5.15 to drop my daughter off at work. Came back and went back to bed, managed to nod off and got back up at 10. Would have felt as rough as a bear's bottom if I hadnt gone back to bed. Lovely day yesterday doing a few jobs and watching tennis and the TDF with my son ........ spoke to MrR yesterday 104 degs in Philadelphia yesterday and the forecast is the same for the rest of his stay, arrives home on Wednesday :)

muffins, dry fried egg & toms, roast beef, chilli, 40g cheddar, yoghurt, salad, apple

How do you know about bears' bottoms?? And you had me going there with your TDF for a moment - I've only just learned what TDM stands for (Train Driver Man)! I agree with you about Murray, but then my 10-year-old is fed up of me always being so negative about any Brit's prospects in any sporting event, and I'm old enough to remember Virginia Wade winning Wimbledon in Silver Jubilee year, so you never know...

Enjoy your day! (I have school summer fair, probably in the rain, 1 - 5pm GRR) x
